Hello!
I noticed that on the built-in keyboard on the Droid 4 keys left-right to do what should be top-down, and up and down doing the same thing as the left-right
And so I wonder, I tried to make a factory reset, but still I have (in the Lapdock works well)
Had someone? Any solution?
Thank you for your help

Hi All!
I saw on the forum Keyboard and KeyPad from HTC Touch working on Kaiser.
I've found the .CAB with keyboard and keypad and installed it.
The problem is - I get only the full 40-keys keyboard!
The choise between Keyboard and Keypad doesn't change the keyboard's layout.
Could someone please help me?
regards,
Bacownik
try opening the keyboard and keypad when you are in an text input field such as after you select new sms, it should change the one you are wanting
You ARE very very right !!!
Now it is working !!!
Thanks a lot

Hi guys! I got a Touch HD and the version of HTC ALBUM that comes installed dosnt seems to support keys to change pictures (Im maping left and right keys to the volume ones).
I want to know if the version that comes in the diamond allow you to do that or the only way to change pictures is scrolling on the screen.
If it support the keys can you upload that version somewhere please?
no one with a diamond can answer me this ?
How exactly are you mapping the keys to do this?
My diamond does not do this as standard (is that what you are asking?)

Thanks for answering. I will try to explain more clear (sorry about my bad english)
I got a touch HD, and configured the volume keys to emulate the directional pad LEFT and RIGHT keys. I made this using AEbutton Plus. That's fine. It works on every program but the HTC ALBUM. And what I want is to be able to change pictures in Album using keys, not sliding my finger on the screen.
Because the DIAMOND has hardware cursor keys, perhaps the ALBUM version on it it's diferent and has keys enabled to change pictures. I need someone with a diamond to confirm me this. If that's the case I really want to try the diamond ALBUM version on my touch hd.
Is there an option or a setting which will enable "Word Suggestions" when using the Milestone's physical keyboard and CM7?
I've used Swiftkey in the past, which is a great keyboard that does have word suggestions for the physical kbd. But I've gone back to the stock keyboard for now, and I miss the suggestions.

Hi
I need to change keyboards not fast... instantly. I have a handwriting IME and a normal [Japanese] keyboard that I regularly need one or the other. The process of lowering the bar, tapping the keyboard and then switching is too cumbersome.
So I was thinking... how useless the S-Pen button is in the current state (for me at least). I don't use any of it's "commands", nor to open the S-Memo or anything. Can it be assigned to something else? It would be great that it could be used to change the keyboard. Like, if I push the button while clicking a text box, it would open the handwriting IME. And if I just click the text box without the button, it opens up the regular keyboard.
Is there any app or any way to do this?
Otherwise, is there something (aside the S-Pen button) that can help in "instant switching" the keyboard?
Multi-ling keyboard will probably solve that keyboard issu, but it's a no for changing the button function.
Hi,
Isn't there an option in Samsung Keyboard which will automatically open handwriting pad is s pen is used?

Re: [Q] S-Pen button... is it "re-assignable"? (for instant keyboard switch)
There is but for some reason it doesn't work on mine. Not only that, but the T with pen button is greyed out on the keyboard.

Hello,
I bought a used Droid 4 (XT894) with installed Mentor's ROM (4.1.2) as a replacement for my old SE Xperia Pro (MK16i).
I would like to ask if there is a indicator (icon in the status bar), which shows that the Shift and/or Caps-lock key on the hardware keyboard is (or is not) pressed (like in the SE Xperia Pro)?
I was looking at XDA and I read a lot of UTFG links, but I could not find anything about this.
Thank you for your response.
There's a physical white led just to the left of caps lock key. I don't remember if it worked in Mentor's ROM, but now I'm using CM13, and it lights up when shift/caps is pressed.
