Cant get into recovery
Hello, and thanks for helping me!
I have the 283. Stock Sony ROM and Stock Sony Kernel. I flashed the recovery for the 283. with command lines in linux. after I flashed it it booted perfectly well except that the LED light doesnt appear. I tried to get into any recovery but it just doesnt work.
Have you got any solution? did it happened to you?
Please help me!
Thank you!
If the boot.img was flashed successfuly then you would definitely see a blue LED and feel a double vibration when rebooting.
Your bootloader needs to be unlocked, you need to be in fastboot mode and you need to use this command
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
For locked bootloader recoverys on stock or stock based rom, go here

Changing Boot Logo (Not Animation)
Hey,
Thanks a lot for uploading this Stock Rom. However, I have a question here. How can we change the boot logo as I previous installed "CleanKat" Rom and I'm still unable to get rid of it's boot logo even after installing Stock Rom. The book animation changed but the logo doesn't.
Thank you in advance.

i dont know the answer for your question, but 90% it should work for both models. DO NOT TRY IT IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO UNBRICK your phone
answer my questions:
* what model do you have? 4 gb or 8 gb?
1. why do you need to flash STOCK from cwm ? (because this one will require CWM/CTR recovery + root)
2. what have you done, for which u need (ANY) help? i'm free to help.
3. if your device is soft/hard bricked, there are quite a few cases but flashing this rom will not help in 90% of these errors
why flash STOCK from recovery? if your device is soft
4. are you familiar with the SP tools and Gionee-stock-ROM flashing methods?
if your device is hard bricked (nothing happening at all) then u need to use gionee stock via sp flash tools
Google androidxda.com/gionee-m2-8g for 8 gb, and androidxda.com/gionee-m2 for 4 gb model
All the best and happy flashing

Also realized sbf.droid devs went down and most of the earlier FXZ firmware links are down. Currently the 4.4.4 and 4.4.2 ones are good.

Maybe you are not following the instructions right.. You need to ODIN flash the firmware. Then boot into custom recovery and flash the deodex zip. Its not one or the other.. You need both
Also, Lollipop takes a good ten mins if not longer to boot..
just wondering?
I'm little confused, Do i need to be rooted already to flash this rom? or can I flash this in Odin direct from unrooted stock 5.0.1?
No you don't need to be rooted to flash over odin. Go ahead and enjoy the upgrade and root privilege
