[Q] d959 loses signal randomly after unlocking - LG G Flex

I have a tmobile d959 that I'm running on virginmobile in canada. It drops calls and loses signal every 10 to 15 minutes. Sometimes keeps on searching for more than 5 minutes and I would have to restart the phone to get signal back. Is there a better modem file that I can flash on it? or can someone tell me what can be causing that and how to fix it.

[Q] Random Shutdown due to no signal?

Im visiting my friend at his apartment and his complex gets no reception. My phone kept shutting down and I was wondering if its possible that it was because it was receiving no reception (no 3G and no bars). He then plugged in his microcell and now I am receiving full bars and my phone has not shut off since. Can someone explain?
-update: phone just turned off with signal. this is getting ridiculous.

[Q] Captivate does not reconnect to 3G

Hello,
I wonder if there is any solution to this problem.
If I move from location which doesnt have 3G signal sometimes it takes forever to reconnect (even if the bars are showing 3G). Once I restart the phone everything works fine.
I wonder whether its the phone itself or ATT sucks? I am in New York.
Thank you
Try flashing a different modem.

Moto X on AT&T MVNO - signal strength drops to 0 briefly - phone or carrier problem?

Moto X on AT&T MVNO - signal strength drops to 0 briefly - phone or carrier problem?
I've got the Moto X GSM developers edition with Kitkat 4.4 unlocked and rooted. I am on H2O wireless (AT&T MVNO).
Several times a day, I'll hear a quick beep in my bluetooth headset alerting me to the fact that I have no mobile signal. I look at the phone and I have zero bars for maybe 30 seconds and then it goes back to (usually) 4 bars. This happens at home, where I always seem to have 4 bars except for these incidents, so it is not like I am in a marginal signal area and it is going between 1 and 0 bars. Is this likely a problem with the phone or with the carrier? I switched from PagePlus (Verizon MVNO) when I got the Moto X, so I don't have a history AT&T with another phone to look back on. I never had this happen when I was on Verizon towers with my previous phone (Droid 2 global).
I don't know if the loss of signal is real or a bug in reporting the signal strength because it doesn't last long enough to try and make a call. I haven't had any dropped calls, but I don't spend a lot of time talking, so the odds of this happening during a call are low. Still it is a bit of an annoyance and if the loss of signal is real, it will eventually happen during a call.
There may be nothing wrong, the phone may just be scanning for other bands that do not exist in the area. 30 seconds does seem like a long time though. I know when I use AT&T firmware with a different provider in Canada my phone will do exactly the same thing after a fresh firmware install, however after it happens a few times it stops and holds the signal fine. I am guessing it is building a database of what bands and protocols are available in the area. It might not hurt to do a full reset of the phone.

That doesn't sound quite like what my phone is doing because you say it happens a few times, then stops. It happens to me every day and I haven't recently installed firmware.
Anyone else having the same issue as me? On a Moto X or any other phone on AT&T?

This happens to me on AT&T on the GSM (T-Mobile) model sometimes too. It usually happens after a phone call is hung up and it's switching from HSPA back to LTE. Sometimes it's instant, other times it's 10-30 seconds.

[CM10.2] Signal lost for calls

Hello
actually, i am on CyanogenMod 10.2:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2478972
And when i receive/send calls, my phone lost operator signal so my call end
This becomes annoying after a few times (which is conpréhensible)
There are about 3 weeks, i could not send SMS/MMS and my signal bars are full so i ask on XDA ROM thread and i suggest we that update the modem file so i have succefull update to "GT-I8190NXXANI1_modem.bin_update.zip" so actually, i have the XXANI1 (i have the I8190N model).
I want to know how to fix this problem of loss networks during my phone calls (received / sent) (Lorce I lose the signals, bars signals tell me that the phone has perdut network and recovers 10 seconds approximately).
Thanks for help
