how does the natural leather feel? does it scratch easy? i heard the natural is most prone to scratching compared to cognac, black, and the other leathers. does the natural scratch as bad as this?

My back is black leather, not natural, it came from the box already scratched but that's the beauty of leather, especially natural leather that scratches give it character, not ugliness
btw we can't see your image
If your worried about imperfections then don't get leather. I have navy blue leather and it had little nicks right out of the box. Scratches and nicks are going to happen unless you use a case.
My natural leather back is beautiful. If there are scratches or flaws, I don't notice them, and I'm not the type to obsess over it and scrutinize it closely looking for normal wear signs.
No case on mine.

i've had my black leather back for as long as the phones been out and its pretty much in pristine condition. There have been a few times where I've scratched it but all i did was condition it, add black leather polish, and polish it as i would for a shoe and it is about as good as new. I'd imagine that for the natural leather back you could apply some oils to it to give it a nice color and mask some scratches. It is grippy enough for me and definitely more grippy than metal
Over time you see only the most recent scuffs. The older scuffs just get buffed out over time.

For those of us who don't need / want a heavy, thick leather cover to protect the Galaxy Tab, there's a cheap alternative: so far I'm thoroughly impressed with the silicon skin I purchased from eBay, it adds grip, provides essential protection to the hard plastic case, and doesn't interfere with the tablet orientation and accessories (and adds virtually no bulk to the form factor).
As for a screen protector...well, I feel it is totally unnecessary due to the modern strong glass material used nowadays, at best it adds a visible layer that compromises the viewing angles (perhaps less so with the more expensive types, I don't know...).
Oh, and I kept the factory-fitted plastic sheet at the back of the tablet, as it definitely serves a purpose I would have inadvertently scratched the tablet's body a few times if it wasn't for this protective layer (before I purchased the silicon skin). I left it on because I sometimes remove the silicon skin, so it remains a useful feature.

Mine is totally smooth at the back. The other model shown in another discussion thread has curved areas of grippy silicon at the back, easy to see on the photos.
More importantly, check that the silicon "lips" at the front only just wrap the edges of the device, you don't want them to come too far onto the glass surface, as it's better to have access to the surrounding display surface for touch/swipe gestures and thumb grab.
After musing over the various cases available for the G2, I finally settled for the Body Glove DropSuit phone case. Ordered mine over eBay and after using it for a bit - here's my brief review. The case feels like hard rubber and is odorless. The black on black really gives my G2 a sleek-cool-edgy look, which was what I was looking for.
The front of the case is only slightly raised without covering the phone's bezel so as to maintain the G2's gorgeous screen area. It allows me to place the phone face down without resting on the screen.

The Body Glove case fits snugly and doesn't add too much weight or bulk considering the protection it offers. If you're one who likes to use the phone with one hand - like me - the case bumper's provides a great grippy feel.
The case gave some decent protection when I accidentally knocked my phone to the hard tiles from my workstation. I think the corner bumpers really helped cushion the impact. Overall, for the price I paid, its really a great value product.
This is my favorite case. I buy it for every phone I get. I'm dying on the inside because they are not making this for the Verizon version

How does the Body Glove Dropsuit's weight compare to that of the TPU cases (e.g. Diztronic, TUDIA)?
Thanks
with this case phone looks is realy ugly))
Hmmmm. Very interesting: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pierre-Card...1&pid=100005&rk=1&rkt=6&sd=171853986960&rt=nc
Nice comparable price if they are any good.

it wouldn't surprise me if it was real leather. It's not going to be high grade leather at all.
And that's a case that fits over an existing plastic back?
They should make a slightly bigger case that fits over the leather back, so you can have leather on your leather when you want to lather your leather.
I just got one last week. The leather looks pretty real to me. The one BIG problem with it is that it only covers the sides of the phone and not the top and bottom. But beyond that, it doesn't maintain a very good grip on the phone. That is to say, it's way too easy to take the cover off by just tugging on a side ever so slightly. I dropped the phone once (on a mat at the gym) and cover basically flew right off. Had it been concrete, my phone would be a mess. With that said, it does feel good in the hand, and with the exception of the loose grip on the phone, I think it's pretty well made.
Using it. Not as slick looking as the original leather back, but provides quite a nice and good grip.

So it looks and feels good, but not very functional (since it flies off the phone with low height drop)
Thats too bad, the brown one looks real slick versus the overpriced stock backing from LG

Leather OR PU Leather?
Just received my order of Realike Poco F1 protective cover..
I've used a similar cover on my Redmi Note 4 with excellent results so this order was a no brainier.
Material Review:- The material in the edges is rubberized while bulk of the back is of carbon fiber finish that resists dust, oil, fingerprints etc
Looks:- Ive Attached pictures, it looks very classy in blue
Protection:- It will protect your device from those accidental falls etc
It has a raised lip to protect the display in the front but it's 100% Recommended to use a good quality tempered glass, to get an all round protection of your precious device both front and back
Link to buy (You can choose color - Blue/Black):- https://www.amazon.in/gp/aw/d/B07GZZWCX3?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_yo_pop_mb_pd_t2

Cheaper alternative... Good quality. I have one form same brand for different device.

Hi All,
Just in case anyone is looking for a cheap case / glass combo. I got this from Alixpress, and I'm happy with it. Case has a nice texture to it, and the tempered glass seemed to be very good quality.

Hi @MarkRobert
can you post a picture of the edge of the case from the screen side? Is it above the screen or flat one and the screen touches the surface when the phone lies upside down?
How about the space between the case and the camera? Will the protection glass for the camera fit inside?
The edge of the case has a lip, so it protects the screen when placed face down. I have a small piece of film over my camera. I think glass should fit fine also.

Thank you for the suggestion, Im considering to buy it. @MarkRobert the case seems a bit thicker than the original clear case the phone comes with. Is that true?

Just checked and it is a tiny bit wider, but feels much better in the hand. Less slippy. It's a bit firmer I suppose.
Alright, thank you very much! I will probably buy it
Nillkin is the best when it comes to protecting the camera. Some camera protection lenses doesnt have perfect cutouts like mine. When i toggle flashlight, whole protection glass becomes cloudy. Nillkin case got a sliding camera protector.
