Based on my Google Edition S4 order which also went in on a Friday it shipped on Tuesday of the following week and i received it on Thursday of that week and that was with ground shipping. I am in NY so those in the vicinity that ordered on or around 11:00 am pst we should have our devices on Thursday the 7th of November... Tick... Tock....

I think it will be a few weeks until the colors get to sprint. Maybe around the April 11th time frame. The gun metal color is awesome IMO. The amber gold looks flat.
I'm getting it - but I'm wanting the silver color (like the OG One.) and Sprint charging $250 on upgrade is kind of ridiculous. I'll be getting mine likely at BestBuy or Radioshack in the next two weeks or so.
EDIT: Verizon's $199 on upgrade AND they have a bogo deal at the moment. Sprint's slapping us in the face.
The wife, little sister, and I all got our EVO 4G LTE around the same time and we're all due for an upgrade. The wife wants the gold one (or the rumored red one) but Best Buy's gold phone page seems to be down at the moment. There seemed to be some incentives last time around ($50 or $100 extra off through some promotions) but I don't see any of that now.
Really wanting the phone but I'd like to see what the big box retailers are gonna give with it.

You sure they're waiving the activation fee? I did not have my upgrade waived.

Online it was $249.99 for an upgrade, but when I called in to Sprint Telesales (1-888-882-4030) there was an additional $50 mail-in rebate bringing it down to $199.99. They charge a shipping and activation fee bringing it back up to $247.99, but I was able to get a manager to price match the free shipping on the website to bring it back down to $235.99. All in all, between all the attempted upsells for TEP, screen protectors, cases, Samsung Galaxy Tabs, Sprint Buy Back, adding another line, etc, the manager intervention, and having to listen to the full terms and conditions the phone ordering process took 30 minutes (not including time on hold, which was minimal). I also let them talk me into an Otterbox (but I can return that to my local Sprint store if I don't like it).
If the website was waiving the activation fee it would've almost been a wash.

A few minutes prior to this post I got the shipping confirmation. I should have it by end of business on Thursday.

Lol way to botch a launch. So much Samsung in my house you know they ship tons of stuff.... So why can't they get it right? Could also be a difference in culture. I know in America we want the latest and we want it now... Maybe over there things don't get as much interest?

I'm not spending over $1k, that's insane. To me there is no phone worth that much. Especially when I consider the features of Touchwiz that I don't use. I have always said that I wouldn't buy a phone that did not include both a micro SD slot and removable battery after owning an S3. If prices are this high the Nexus 6/X will move way up my list and I'll hold off to see what it offers. Here's to hoping they offer it to us for $850 maximum.

Hmm, so it says in fine print you're trade in phone needs to be worth $10 or more, and you'll get check for difference between $200 and your trade-in value.
So glad I kept my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket in a drawer for the last couple years. Shows it's worth $26 trade in. So can get a check for $174, and can get the Note 4 for really cheap.
How do you find out how much your phone is worth? I got my old fascinate.

I traded in an old (and unused for the past several years) iphone 4.
They appraised it at $65.
I really didnt care about the trade in price as long as it was more than $10.
They are sending the shipping materials, then I will just have to wait for the Note 4 to arrive so I can fill out the form on the Samsung webpage to get the $135 balance.
Bottom line is that the Note 4 only cost me $99 !

Yea tmobile stop selling the black model.
I called samsung to do my exchange and they said they got black ones and will do the exchange.
Long story short. That was on Nov 6th no exchange has been done. Every time i call in. They say oh its been ship to our contacts in your area blah blah blah.
Check samsung website for black tmobile s7 edge. And there out of stock without any infor on more. (Looks to be discounted to me.)
So i hate the gold one, dont like the sliver one. Reason i havent exchange yet.
So ended up order the blue. From tmobile. Hopfully it will ship soon and be here soon. Then ill return the note 7 to tmobile.
I finally turNed in my note 7...sad day for sure but I did pick up a blue coral s7 edge on the 19th in store...looks just as good as my note 7 did....for you guys wanting black they are releasing a "glossy black" edition soon. Almost free because the only thing not refunded to me was the down-payment and tax. I wouldn't have had to pay down payment and tax again for my s7 edge if I gave them the note 7 though.

I sold my note 7 for 400 bucks on Craigslist since I got it free recently and I bought an Xbox one s with the profits for black Friday . I can live with the s7 edge in beautiful blue for a while.

That's the other issue. I don't want to have to buy an S-Pen, because I don't want to be writing with the banana in the phone. I do use cases, but I use clear slim cases, and I don't want a ridiculous blue or purple phone.

Yes, she said she was able to give me that price bc of my long standing account. I was like it should of been bc of JOD bc that's the reason we it.
Just got off the phone with 2 reps that aren't even willing to pull up my account when I mention JOD. Both first tell that it's not eligible for JOD then tell me it's $280 what even pulling my account up. I'll just call tomorrow. Hopefully I can speak with someone who knows what's going on. Kinda surprised they are not offering the 512gb micro so card as a gift. Dont need the headphones. Also curious about color choice. I might play the wait and see game.
