Hello everyone,
I have problem with My P7-L10. I update phone from B126 to B133 via local update and finish was FAIL. However phone works great but I can't to change network mode to LTE (4G), phone has many diffrent modes. After update 4G mode works ok, but when I change to 2G only I can't back to 4G.
I can't insert my screenshot link, then my network modes below:
LTE/CDMA, EvDo only, CDMA w/o EvDo, CDMA/EvDo auto, GSM/WCDMA auto, WCDMA only, GSM only, GSM/WCDMA preffered.
What schould I do to fix P7? Phone is rooted and has TWRP.
Thanks
You hasn't flashed correctly original stock B135 ROM. Try flashing it by force update (power and vol+ vol-) Before put dload/update.apk on SD card. First revert stock recovery and backup Your internal data.

I close topic, phone is repaired and has new clean B135.

Hello,
I bought an Xperia SP from bulgaria and the model is C5303 who supports LTE bands. The issue is that there is no such an option on settings to select LTE/WDCMA/GSM band. Only GSM and WCDMA. In the secret menu (*#*#4636#*#*) i cant select the LTE/GSM/WCDMA option, or any other option except GSM or WCDMA. When i press LTE option, it returns automatically, to WCDMA Preferred.
Any ideas?
Use flashtools to flash a stock ROM that is for c5303
Sent from my C5303 using xda premium
Thank you. I wait to be approved in order to use flashtool
Have you tried just to reset the phone to factory settings (wipe)? If that doesn't help perhaps you really should flash it with stock rom of your carrier/GSM provider, or at least try kernel only? Could you be so kind and post a screenshot from the normal settings screen, the part where you should have 3 options but you got only 2 (not the via code menu)?
I'm looking for a solution to ultra frustrating problem I encountered after performing OTA lollipop upgrade from kitkat. My network coverage gone after lollipop upgrade, I can't make calls or send messages. While I played with settings i found that with in Preferred network type there are three options as below.
WCDMA Only
GSM only
WCDMA (preferred)/GSM {Default option}
It was set to 3rd option. When I changed to GSM only option my calls and sms started to work flawlessly but as you all aware Internet was on 2G(Edge). To get HSPA working as far as I know I have to use WCDMA in xperia phones (Not to be confused with CDMA). When ever I switch to WCDMA my coverage goes off.. I can't make calls. So i end up using the phone in GSM only mode and made a thread in official xperia site as below. I also tried repairing using PC companion and resetting the phone no avail.
http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z-ZL-ZR/xperia-zr-c5502-does-not-support-WCDMA-after-lollipop/td-p/1001920
As you can see one person with the ranking of moderator acknoledged the issue and suggested me to revert it back to Kit kat until the fix has been made. I tried flashing using flashtool still problem exist. Even in old kit kat firmware which i was using it for long time with out any issues. I think some thing has happend to my mobile after lollipop upgrade.
Yesterday I unlocked the boot loader and flashed Cynogenmod 11 as well.. Again same problem. WCDMA does not work thus no 3G. Now I'm using Sony official lollipop firmware by flashing via flashtool.. I ended up using my phone in GSM only mode (Edge).
Any suggestions? Ideas?
I would try downloading stock LP ftf file with XperiFirm, then using Flashtool and try flashing only baseband. Not sure if it would work if you install a KK baseband, i would stick only to LP files in the meantime.
There is also another option to force select the bands, just dial *#*#4636#*#*, go to "Phone Information", and on the preferred Network type, choose "WCDMA Preferred". Wait 5-10 minutes, it might take a while for the carrier to recapture phone signal.
If that doesn't work, you might want to check if somehow the bands were locked with the LP install. There is an excellent guide on how to unlock bands, i tried with my SO-04E (japanese C5503) and i was able to unlock some of them, as not all carriers on my country were recognizng HSPA, and were recognizing only EDGE.
Hi, I have xt1079 for about 6 months, and it works well, since the day I used it in low coverage area,
it has Mokee 5.1 build and works in LTE network. And I take the 2nd sim card off while the phone was working, and after that the phone cant recognize the 2nd sim card at all, after a half of hour the 1st sim card lost too.
After rebooting the phone show phone app error...as I can see, in settings menu IMEI information became "unknown".
I wiped the phone and try to reflash the same firmware, but the result was the same. I tried 6.1 firmware, and the IMEI information came back and the phone works , but only in 2g. I mean I set the LTE/ 3G/2G, but it always in 2g network.
If I install LTE only or 3g only - no signal.
If I flash the phone back to any 5.1 ROM it's loose sim cards.
What would you recomend? Flash stock firmware?
I don't do it yet, what do I need to flash stock firmware?
Download the stock firmware for XT1079 and flash it from PC using fastboot. All the process & steps to flash are already available on XDA, just give it a search.
Hi I have lost signal due to accidentally selecting USA Band in *#*#4636#*#* menu. There is no other option other than USA band in the select radio band menu under phone info . I have tried factory reset as well as flashing the ROM after a complete wipe. I have even tried the hard brick recovery procedure. I have a one plus 3 T A3003 model from India and the phone is not being able to lock on to 2g and 3g bands only 4g seems to be working with only data and no voice. please help . thanks ?
Only way to get functions back is by changing bands again just like to did to break it, as these settings are stored in the NV registry, non of the factory restore methods will be able to restore the values back to defaults.
Update: Okey, I just went into that menu and I see three options. Auto, Europe and United States. And your saying you only see the last after you manually choose it?
I have an a3003 as well (German)
The menu on my phone shows on us frequenz
Tipping on it does not break anything 2/3/4G still works
I'm not rooted

Yes I only see US. I am on stock 4.0 nougat . you are on which rom ?
I also went back to 3.5.4 where i could see options like band 30, band 31 etc. but choosing any of them did not help.
thanks

I'm on Lineage OS 14.1, but with OxygenOS 4 firmware/bootloader base.
Ok I have found a solution. I reverted back to os 3.5.1 using the unbrick guide from https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/how-to/unbrick-unbrick-tutorial-oneplus-3t-t3515306 . Now there are options such as band 31 , band 32 etc. in addition to u.s. band now I started applying each and every band, the trick here is that the applying each band takes at least 1 - 2 mins. so you have to wait after each operation to see if the problem is corrected or not. Finally the problem got corrected on applying band 43 , so band 43 seems to be the correct configuration at least here in India . now 2g,3g and 4g all are working. the strange part is that in nougat service menu this is missing while it is present in the earlier rom's . Thanks
