What hacked Pandora?

Try downloading a different version somewhere off the net, cant say where but there is a bay full of pirates somewhere out there that has a lot of versions.

Yea, if you have ART Runtime enabled, 9 times out of 10 the Pandora App will not work.
You can also get an ART version of the app if you want to stay on the runtime.
If you look in the must have root apps thread, you'll see someone using Pandora Patcher as an Xposed module. It's very easy to install if you are rooted. Works great also. As for the patcher itself, just Google it.

So I downloaded netflix from the market, and it says in the list of supported devices that the HTC Thunderbolt is one. Now it does install and accepts your username password, you can see your qeue and it attemps to play the vid, but fails with a DRM required message. any one else seeing this? if you search for it it will not appear, but if you select apps, all apps, free apps then scroll down its listed. click install and try to enjoy a mostly usable app.

it will never work on stock or rooted froyo for the thunderbolt (at least not without netflix directly supporting it). person that said it did on that forum is full of it. amount of effort to make it work would not be worth it. GB will be out soon and nearly everyone has it already on here. Anyone who wont root to get netflix obviously doesnt want it bad enough

Ok ok, im not a dev, but.... Look at the LG Revolution. Netflix does NOT need GB to function, it appears as if it needs it for the TBolt but not overall. That being said they made Droid Bionic support available so take everything with a grain of salt. Maybe GB will be coming soon and rather than fix issues with the TBolt again soon they figured set it up for GB and users can use it then (and root users now ).

I'm getting tired of the slow scrolling and choppy behavior of apps that shouldn't be. Here is the Netflix app, latest, I think, that I modified to be optimized for Honeycomb. Basically just improves overall app performance.
Enjoy. (attached)
* (You will probably have to uninstall your current Netflix app to try this)
* Updated to Netflix version (360) from the market, released for Honeycomb officially on 10/19/11.

Google Wallet 1.1R48V4 Installer for Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 (maybe 4.0.4)
This has been tested on the factory 4.0.3 image it may or may not work with other custom roms. If you test and it works, please let me know and I'll update the compatibility matrix. The NFC stuff is the tricky part. Google has been changing the Nfc setup quite a bit and each ROM maker seems to use a different version.
The Nfc.apk that comes with 4.0.3 is really nice, in terms of allowing other apps to get the necessary permissions to use the Nfc chip.
If you are using my version of Wallet already, just install the .zip from recovery and you will be cleanly upgraded. If you want to update the apk directly, I've provided that link as well.
The APK install method WILL NOT work unless you are currently using one of my older versions. If you try to install directly, your NFC won't recognize the signature on my version of Wallet so it won't work. This is provided for existing users of my version of Wallet, and developers.
Google Wallet 1.1R48-V4 for ICS 4.0.3 ZIP Updater <-- you probably want this
Google Wallet 1.1R48-V4 for ICS 4.0.3 APK Updater <--- no, not this.. really..
*PLEASE* Make sure you know what you're doing, already I've not got many cycles to help support these days.
I understand there's a R33v6 out in the Market already. If someone can send me the .apk I'll port the changes...

Installed it at work so I can't really play with it yet but there is a weird little headphone and chrome something icon with a line through it at the bottom left of the main screen that doesn't do anything. I probably need to be on the same network and the app to see my chromecast for whatever that is to do something but just thought I'd mention it.
Suggestions:
1) Add a check on app start to notify if it can't find the chromecast on the network
2) Ask to enable wifi for same reason as #1
3) Add Widget(s) for the app (Granted I haven't used the app to it's full potential yet to determine what the widget could/should have)

Don't know about other, but I can tell you one thing : Google released all the stuff a developer could need to develop apps for it and there's no limitation to publish what they want. Here's the catch though, their API is somehow limited for clients and are meant for services like Netflix or Hulu to implement their own media player remote. Sending content to the Chromecast is a very different thing (and is potentially the most interesting). Koush wrote a few things about it on his Google+ page, I recommend checking it out as well as his workaround.

Do you have any plans to post your source code? I'd love to take a look at it.
I'm strongly considering it but not immediately. There's a lot of changes going on in the codebase still and a little bit of house cleaning before I can start thinking of releasing it. Maybe in a couple months from now. If you need to look at some chromecast code, samples do pretty much the same =)

Titanium Backup is a must for freezing and/or removing bloatware.
After that, check out Exposed Framework and Wanam, That will keep you busy for a while.

ATT Note 3 android development thread is where all the ROMs made for our phone will be.
Welcome to the community! Titanium backup pro is a must if you're going to be romming and modding you're android devices. Custom roms are definitely the way to go especially being new to android modding. There are a few really smart dudes developing great custom roms for the n9005a. They do all the work that you would want done and they're really good at it. I recommend knoxraid by @drakeymcmb. He has been involved with romming this phone since before we had a recovery to flash from. There a bunch of helpful people that follow his thread.
