I removed version 7 because sensors were not working cm uses open source sensor blobs and stock ROM uses closed sensor blobs I will release version 7 with fixed sensors soon
Working version 7
I successfully flashed version 7! Everything seems working fine.
First time i flashed boot.img with CWM and rebooted, got bricked device. Then I restored boot.img from version 6 with flashtool. Second time I flashed boot.ini from version 7 and kernel version 7 without rebooting and device booted successfully.
Hope this information will help someone.

I'm already using it on kitkat and I really like it! Lollipop will be released for the XZR by tomorrow or even by today evening. So planning to flash it as soon as its released and already searching for rooting methods and custom kernels for it.... Really excited to see lollipop on my XZR....

Can Doomkernel v22 be flashed on my Xperia Z 4.4.4 build .283?
Hi I have a rooted Xperia Z, I want to unlock the bootloader to flash DoomKernel, but I am not sure if DoomKernel v22 will work on Android 4.4.4 so if anyone could tell me if it would be safe to flash Doomkernel v22 on my XZ 4.4.4 build .283, it'd be really helpful!

No. It hasn't been updated with 283 sources, so don't flash it. In fact, it appears this is only compatible with 4.3 and earlier.
With the lack of any updates on this or the Advanced Stock Kernel, it appears that DooMLoRD may have halted development for our device, unfortunately.
I hope that isn't the case and he's just busy, but projects for newer devices do appear to be regularly maintained. I don't suppose we can expect support forever, as he's only one person working for free and has commitments outside of XDA.

Yeah it is an unfortunate reality :L I sorta was looking forward to the overclock, fastcharge and other awesome features on D-kernel for 4.4.4 Not too confident about the hodorkernel atm, don't even know if it supports stock android rom

No, it won't. Read from post #2 in this thread. Basically, the kernel hasn't been updated in some time.
DooMLoRD has a new job and probably hasn't got time to support every device.

cm recovery not working
after flashing your latest build released on 1st jan 15 it still has got the cm recovery that dat doesnot let me flash anything as youve mentioned in one of your latest post that youve rebuilded the boot.img that includes TWRP but i found out that its not so plz guide me to a solution....and it still not supports the latest superSU version too

Overall the ROM works very smoothly.
I just want to report sometimes I am missing the sign for LTE, 3g, etc. If I have turned on my mobile data.
Also I can't flash superSU . I am getting an error report.

Yes, but..
You have to get your unlock-key from sony using flashtool before you can flash this tho.. Look at doom's guide..

Darkness Reborn have to much crashes (fc / or pure exit) on this rom (work few minutes before crash..). On Nameless work without problem

Problem with flashing
I want to flash this rom, i used a phillz recovery but it showing a error. After readed this thread i use the recommended lastest and previous TWRP but i still have a error after starting flashing : "can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset. E : Error executing updater binary in zip ... , error flashing zip ... done " . How can i solve this ?

There might be an issue with Deep Sleep. When I was using it i lost almost 20 per cent per night, although I was in energy saver mode. Using boeffla-Kernel did help me but it was still draining the battery. That's why I went back to a 4.4.4 rom.

Not booting for me either. Looper v1.2 on Galaxy s6 t920
The rom is not booting up for me. I was previously running version 1.1 and it was fine, but after trying to flash the newest one it failed to boot so I restored from my backup. I am using the latest twrp and I have always lurked these forums and am quite knowledgeable but never posted before. This is just a heads up to the Dev that it is not booting in case he wants to look into it. I see that it is working for other so I am wondering what has gone wrong here.

Ambiant display seems to cause a black/blue screen a second before i see the lockscreen when i press the power button to wake my phone.
Best ROM i've seen so far. I flashed L Speed v2.1 Revolution and its buttery smooth, best battery life. I kept ROM's stock kernel and I absolutely love it. Thanks mike

Make sure you have a full backup of your device before doing anything else.
If you head over to the TWRP thread you will find a step by step installation guide to get TWRP installed, plus other important information.
You can flash any lollipop rom you like through TWRP just place the rom and gapps on your sdcard and follow the instructions provided in the roms thread.

Sorry I don't understand what you mean, are you trying to change your ringtone and it won't change?
If your ringtone resets after a reboot move the file to your internal SD card and set your ringtone again.

gapps problems
guys i had a bootstall and this is the only room that worked but the gapps refused to be installed via recovery so when i boot my phone i keep receiving google apps errors that won't allow me to do anything ?

What error did you get when flashing gapps? Did you check the md5 to make sure the download was ok?
What recovery are you using TWRP from the rom or something else?

Very low volume
First of all, Thanks a tonne for this ROM! Lightning fast and performance wise it is the best. . But, the both internal and external speaker volume is very low. I know xperia Z has low volume, but volume in this is very very low.. Can't even hear the phone ringing! Any fix for this?

This could be caused by the FauxSound Control I added in the last build, I personally use Viper4android which improves both the volume and quality immensely.
I can try reverting the FauxSound Control in the next build to see if that helps.

Possibly but you didn't answer any of the questions I asked, which will help getting the problem resolved.
Did you try downloading a different gapps package? The Banks gapps linked in the first post work perfectly for me and I am assuming everybody else because nobody else has reported this problem.

after few reboots it gets stuck on the Cyanogenmod logo wen't back for this rom cuz of a bigger problem with 5.1 and now i get this i seem to be very lucky

If you are downgrading from 5.1 and having issues I would recommend a full wipe so format system, factory reset then flash the rom and gapps.

Search for the viper4android thread it has all the info there to get it installed.
You could try disabling NuPlayer in Developer Options to see if that helps with music playback, I disable it so viper4android can work correctly, I haven't experienced any issues with music stopping.

Umm, since the new update is out..wouldn't this mean you can fix the problem where you cant hear the other person when talking on the phone? or has this bug been fixed? Also, since lollipop stock rom is out wouldn't it help developers like you to improve the newer builds and make it more stable?
Also, are the unofficial builds still in testing or can it be used as a daily driver? Please reply ASAP because I have been itching to get lollipop for SOO long and am currently on cm 11 nightlies waiting for a stable cm12 builds to start rolling out..Thanks!

Call bug was fixed ages ago, as far as I am concerned this rom is stable for use as a daily driver.
Once Sony releases Lollipop for the c6603 and the kernel and blobs are available then developers far more capable then myself will begin upgrading our device to take advantage of the new release.

This release is not on the CyanogenMod website because it is an unofficial release as clearly stated in the OP, you asked if the rom was stable for daily driver use which I replied it was.
You can quite easily find details of device maintainers for most roms on their respective websites or by looking for their official thread here on xda.
