Hi Ho Gang...
I'm using Xposed modules to change my notifications, status bar icons and such to black background and white texts. I've been pretty successful except for this one Damn line in my notification panel. I'm attaching a screenshot. I'm trying to change the area of the drop down that says "Notifications". I want the background black and the text in white.
I have the following Xposed modules installed that should be able to change this but can't seem to find the right setting:
G2 Tweakbox
G2 Xposed App
XBLast Tools
Oooh, BTW, It might be relevant to note I'm still on 4.2.2.
Thanx for the help guys and gals
Here is what i used to get mine changed... G2 tweakbox but I'm on 4.4.2
try g3 tweaksbox also
Hello,
on my Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet I now have Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
Which is running great; this also applies to Xposed.
But I absolutely don't like the changing status bar color, which makes feel the OS a bit kindergarten-like (Windows XP, anyone?).
Is there any Xposed module or other app (or system file modification) with which I can make the status bar permanently black?
Any hint is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Best Wishes,
Hasenbein

Have you tried flat style status bar ?
The default blue status bar is extreme ugly...
Yes, that blue is hideous...
Flat style status bar helped (after pulling out my purse for Pro version...), thank you very much!
If you are using Xposed you could try my app NotifyClean. I just added there an option to revert this "blue". It's then AOSP behavious, means all apps could change the color as they like or black if not implemented / before Lollipop compiled
Great, man! Thank you!
Just one thing: On my device the "notifications always expanded" option in your app doesn't work at all. (Yes, I did restart ) Although this is not a problem, because there's the Xposed module "All notifications expanded".
@hasenbein1966: I tested with Z2 Tablet SGP521 + the "baltic" Android 5.0 rom hier from xda. This works without problems. Maybe another module prevented it which hooks also there? If the module is enabled, for this option only a restart of the app is needed (in settings for the apps, there is a menu item to restart)
Can you guys suggest an Xposed module to auto hide the status bar in all apps and the home screen? I want to also be able to show it when I swipe on it too.
Just to let you know, I got a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 on 4.3 with Xposed Framework.

Hi guys, so apparently my status bar can't turn transparent in apps. Instead it defaults to a light grey, almost white which is extremely annoying to look at. Google maps for example always keeps the status bar white when I know that it should be transparent (or at least the default dark grey). Only on the home screen I can get a transparent status bar but not in apps, which I tested with various apps comparing to me tablet.
I thought first that it is an issue with an exposed module but I disabled all of them did a reboot and it still won't turn transparent.
I can make Screenshots or upload a video if you don't get what I'm saying
Must be your ROM or an Exposed module. My stock Z3C does not have that issue on 5.1.1.
But what could it be, I have disabled all xposed modules and I still get it...
Btw i'm on stock .232 (expect root and xposed).
Screenshot attached Btw.
(e) nevermind just updated the xposed framework to .75 and now I have transparency.
Case closed.
I'd like to remove the time and 4g icons from my phone but I don't see anything in the settings. Did i miss an option somewhere?
That's normal and there is no solution unless you are rooted and xposed and then use some modules
