I guess that I'm lucky to be one of the first to receive the approval , this rebate was the only reason for my upgrade from the Note 3

I received same notice two days ago, so its all good.
I got my note 4 on Verizon edge, and later traded in an old phone for 12 bucks.
Also received my approval email a couple of days ago.
I wouldn't count your chickens until they hatched.
Why it would take 6-8 weeks to send out a check is beyond me.

Received my approval email the other day on 11/11/14, which was kind of fast, considering that I didn't even fill out the online rebate form until 10/23/14. So 2 & 1/2 weeks is not bad, considering they no doubt received millions of rebate forms (both online, and via snail mail). =)
Well, it figures, they are now violating their own terms and conditions, it is beyond the 8 weeks they stated. If we go by when the submission went in, then we are closer to 3 months. They now are passing the blame to Samsung!

What a bunch of low lifes! Calling prize logic sends you to a voice mail that says any calls related to the Samsung rebate will not be returned.
Maybe we all should call them all day. Then they either spend all day erasing the answer machine all day or get our rebates out so they wont have to do that anymore...

Ok so here it is...
I unlocked a phone for an XDA member a while back so he was in my gmail.
The other week he messaged me saying that he has another phone for me to unlock, an Xperia Ray that he bought for £50.
I unlocked it and also asked if he could get any more he said yes and he would let me know when he had it.
In the meantime I asked if he could get another for my pregnant girlfriend.
He also said yes to that.
A couple of days later he messaged me and said he had 2 ready to send so...
I transferred £100 to his paypal stupidly thinking that I was covered if anything went wrong.
Something did go wrong and I am still waiting.
He has not come online, wont answer emails and paypal say that because I sent the money as a gift then I am not covered for buyer protection.
So I would like to give furrabbit.nh bad feedback and also warn any members not to do business with him.
I have all emails etc and chat logs saved.
I will be reporting all his IMEI numbers as stolen today

Did u do the transactions in the market place, did u do them in the open for all to see? Never do deals via pm email only personal info to be exchanged that way. Never send as gift you are not protected!

A company cannot state an order has been shipped, when in fact it has not.
Google has sent out UPS tracking to numerous customers stating that their system has not updated, yet the status on Google Play/Wallet shows as shipped. I contacted Google and they stated that this orders would not be shipping for at least 2 weeks or longer. A company cannot state that an order has been "Shipped" when it doesn't plan to for some time.
File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission if you are one of these irate customers. Let your voice be heard!

First of all, there's already a shipping thread so you should have posted this there.
Second of all, I'm trying to understand what you're saying. Google sent out tracking numbers and updated the status on some peoples' Google Wallet accounts saying that their phone shipped when it has not? Or you didn't get a tracking number like others did but your Wallet account says shipped?
If it's the former, yeah that's pretty jacked up. If it's the latter, well, annoying but a glitch/mistake that will be rectified and didn't harm you. I don't see where you have a valid complaint though if when you contacted Google they owned up to the mistake and told you that it hadn't in fact shipped. If they kept you on the hook for three weeks saying that it's shipping or something like that then file a complaint. Anything else is just you lashing out for getting your hopes up.
EDIT: Also, your statement that a company *cannot* do something needs to be backed up with outside information. As far as I can tell that's a decision that you made.

Clarifications. So I started and T-mobile and apparently for the last part it redirected me to samsung promotions opps. Though how does one check the claim and has anyone gotten theirs yet?
I submitted the claim about 1pm on Thursday, it was approved by 5pm, and by this morning I had shipping confirmation email and the FedEx tracking shows delivery on Tuesday. Less than a week turnaround for the sd card. Pretty solid by Samsung.

With the whole note 7 fiasco, loaner phones and note 7 v2 my TMOB bill is all jacked up. Right now I have -$1,200 bill prob. due to loaner phone return. Anyone else having this issue? Have you called TMOB to fix? I haven't called and hope they don't catch this but I'm sure they will at some point.
I have a -616 dollar bill with tmobile. They also sent me two iphones as loaners after the first note 7 issue. Returned one to the store. Still have the other one sitting here waiting for tmobile to send me a shipping label to send it back. I called and they said to wait for everything to get worked out in the system.
My bill is -1700.. it's been this way for a month now... Instead of adding the credit to the eip when me and my dad returned our phones they credited to the bill... Then when we went to upgrade he realized what he did and called and had them credit the eip. But they forgot to remove the credit. He tried to call again but the return line was long and the hold time was long and he said "oh well you guys will just have a few months of free billing" I've already had one bill taken care of I can't see it disappearing now
My bill was -438, then went to 1500, then after calling in a total of 23 times to get this fixed, I filed a BBB complaint. my correct bill after everything was fixed was -617. now im at -1400 again after returning my Note. not sure wth is going on, but this is stupid.
They're billing out the phone to close out your EIP.
So you'll see a charge for the entire cost of the phone and the bill credit to even it out.
I learned my lesson dealing with an earlier trade in before the Note 7 Fiasco. You have to pay whatever they billed you for before any and all credits. If you don't pay anything due to having a negative balance you will be in for a rude waking in the next bill. Still don't really understand T-mobile's smoke and mirror accounting but by paying the original balance before credits has given me fairly stable billing.

There is still an EIP on my account that needs removed for and S6 Edge Plus that I never activated I ended up returning it the day I received it because I got the update on that first replacement n7

It appears Amazon is delaying at least some of the preorders of the Pixel 4 in orange until sometime between late November and January. I preordered on the first day (October 15) and just received an email that my phone won't be coming anytime soon. It was scheduled to be delivered today. I ordered it with the $100 Amazon GC, which has already shipped. Anybody else get a similar email from Amazon?

Lots of people. Take a look at the 4xl thread. People being charged $100 for the gift card if they cancel the order too. Basically screwed by Amazon if you want the device in a timely fashion.

I'm curious if you'd be able to do a chargeback for false advertisement or something.
I'm sure you could but they'd probably block you or something for purchasing phones in the future.
I'm honestly not surprised. This also happens with PC hardware orders very regularly. I've just learned to avoid trying to buy any newly released electronics from them. Sorry to see you're going through this. :/
Mine arrived 1 day ahead of time.
