Hello, I have a problem, I wanted to flash the rom stock, all good except the recovery, it flashes but the phone goes "hab check failed for recovery" and then trying to enter the recovery is as if he had not flashed, no commands, but flashing the TWRP recovery and does not fail, and if you start well, any solution?
I have the nextel xt1064 Mexico, or just someone to pass me the stock ROM because it is not on the page of motorola firmwares

Stock firmwares: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=36
Now trying to flash these firmwares probe, but also no signs, but that's no problem, I have the original modem, but I want to stock specific firmware, XT1064 Nextel Mexico, to see if the recovery works, any solution? or because it leaves "hab check failed"?
any solution?

Hi @Alexcvrn I know this is a bit late but i'd like to ask did you able to update to Lollipop?
I got mine today and having the same issue. The different is PrintSpooler.apk that update looking for is ff8ee66bddaa3a04265732d134a1cb0f55abc68c unlike yours.
If you have any solution to bypass the PrintSpooler.apk checking that'd be awesome.

Are you sure of the file your attempting to use.? Maybe you have an FXZ zip file, and you would need to flash with RSDLite or adb..not TWRP..double check what you are attempting..
Also..make sure you are using the correct file for your device..

OMGoodness.. I'm not really sure Sir..I have a XT1060 DEV..but I haven't kept up with the Moto X lately (in the past month)..So..I'm not really the one to help you with newer versions..Are you sure 4.4.3 is right for your device.?
I'd suggest do research in here (XDA) and know what is the latest..I'm assuming that you are trying to flash an OTA..but if you have a file someone has "ported" or something of that nature..go back to where you downloaded the file and research..
Even if you have an OTA zip..I'd suggest maybe know the file more, maybe it should be unzipped and run an XML file..I honestly am not familiar with the file you are attempting to use..
Maybe post a link to where you found the file and myself and others can go look at what file and its purpose..then maybe we can assist you more..Sorry I can't help you more at this time..

No, it isn't. The screenshots you uploaded CLEARLY show custom recovery. You need to flash stock recovery back before you can take any updates.
If you don't know the difference between stock and custom recovery, you aren't ready to update. You need to Read, Read, Read....
This would be a good start: http://mark.cdmaforums.com/MotoX-OTA.html (Thanks @KidJoe for the well-written documentation)

I'm trying really hard to explain it to you but you just aren't getting it....
This is what you wrote in the post you linked:
1- Return to STOCK(Mine is 4.4.2) But I did stock it to 4.4.2. OK!
2- Install the TWRP to install the SuperSU. OK, Everything's fine.
3- After it, my dev is already rooted.
OK, look at step number 2: YOU INSTALLED TWRP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you flashed TWRP, you REPLACED stock recovery with custom recovery (TWRP).
As I've been trying to make you understand, OTAs will -----ONLY----- install if you have STOCK RECOVERY.
You will need to flash stock recovery BACK (replacing TWRP), THEN you can accept the update!!!!
Afterwards, you can flash TWRP back.
This is well documented everywhere.....you will have to do this EVERYTIME a new OTA comes out.
You can NOT accept an OTA if you have TWRP installed.
Do you understand now?

I'm convinced that you aren't even reading what I'm writing......
Let me make this easy for you:
Do this:
1. Return to Stock 4.4.2
2. Accept the OTA (DO NOT FLASH TWRP)
3. After you accept the OTA, and you are running 4.4.3, NOW you can install TWRP
YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THE OTA IF TWRP IS INSTALLED!!!!! I've told you this SO many times now.....
TWRP is your problem. You must NOT install TWRP and root (supersu) until AFTER you accept the OTA.
It has ALWAYS been like this. This is nothing new.
Please read my posts carefully. If you follow those instructions, it WILL work.........

YES, you do NOT want TWRP (or you can't accept the update).
OTA = "Over the air update" = update to 4.4.3
What method are you using to return to stock? Tell me you aren't just doing a "factory reset". How exactly are you "returning to stock"?
If you install TWRP = updates DISABLED.

I tried many.. RSDLite, Manual flashing and that one that is recommended for people with problems with "boot loop" and the first I tried two days ago that erased all my data, cache, everything..
The thing is, is that every method seems to work fine but I just don't receive the update '-'
Actually I receive that upgrade that is something that pops up for 3 seconds saying "Upgrading android, installing apps." Then my Dev initializes normal but still dealing with the 4.4.2...

Oh, OK.
Messed up CSC configuration causes this error. Try this;
Flash the latest Odin-Flash available FW via Odin. After you've flashed, do factory reset from stock recovery. Then, when the phone boots up, just reboot to bootloader and flash the latest Odin-Flash available FW via Odin again. When the phone boots up, do factory reset from Settings application. After the phone boots up, try to install update via ADB.

We have to wait until ATT makes it available to get the OTA or update via Smart Switch.
There's another thread in here on how to use Odin and load MM, but it's not the 'official' way.

It's my first post, sorry in advance if i misunderstood any rules of topic creation.
Got le x522 from China. It had 20s, but weirdly without "update" option in options. I downloaded russian update for le 2 (nearest region to me, i'm from Ukraine, seemed reasonable choice).
After update i got "Baseband version "unknown" in "about phone" and now phone won't see sims nor wi-fi module.
Are there ways to fix this?

Thanks! But it didn't work
I found this topic - just the same problem as mine, but for Sony Xperia - any chance to find something like this for Le 2?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/general/how-to-fix-network-baseband-missing-imei-t2865378
I had a similar issue once i flashed an outdated version of supersu when i tried first custom rom,
did you flash supersu, which version?
But it was 'repaired' after i flashed a stock rom, it doesn't matter which one as long it's for a X52x device.
Sometimes you have to modify the update script inside the rom file, that's all.
hey guys I was able to get the modem pulled from a moto z2 that has the ocx27.1 update.. if you run this flash all it will reinstall ocx27 with the latest modem allowing you to once again use your phone.
Please note that this will wipe your phone
Also note that your baseband will stay empty untill your phone fully boots up into android

Hero
some weeks ago downgrade my z2 and loose baseband, with this phone come back to life :,v
thanks, thank you very much
Saved my phone
Thanks! This is exactly what I needed to get my baseband re-installed.
Is SPRINT available? my phone is oreo,OTA loses IMEI after March security update...
Back on update path
Any T-mobile guys figure out how to get updates to install after flashing this, I tried flashing another firmware after this and lost baseband again.
Edit: I ended up flashing the XT1789-04_NASH_TMO_C_8.0.0_OCX27.109-36_subsidy-TMO_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml with the OreoFlashAllUtilities then I edited a FlashAll.bat and used it to flash NASH_TMO_C_OCX27.109-51_subsidy-TMO_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml. rebooted and it started updating to the latest update and made it through 100%.

How did you edited FlashAll.bat?
Is this any different than using the frankin update that combit both sprint and tmobile firmware?
Mine atm show
Android 8.0
Current version: ocxs27.1.3
Security patch level may 1 2018
Kindly send me the flashing procedure for this rom
Not working on me. Still no sim, no wifi, no IMEI.
I'm on tmo variant. Also, don't we need modem.img? Why the flashall.bat don't include it? I checked. Anyway, I edited and include it: still not working.
P.s.should I use a particular flashall ?

@elijahaf97, is it possible to re-upload the file?
Following the G drive link, it tells me it was moved to the trash bin.
Thanks.

Could you possibly reupload the file again.
So I never posted here but I usually pass by some topics so sorry for any mistake in creating this discussion. Today I deleted some stuff from my S20 FE and downloaded via OTA the march security update in my device, then I was caught by surprise when saw it restarting more than once, instantly I panicked cause this happened years ago with another cellphone and I was like "oh no, not again". Unfortunatelly I'm a idiot for not backing up most of my files over the last year and now I really want some suggestions of you guys for solving It and possibly without losing any data cause there are so much important things. I saw something about using Odin to unbrick It, but I'm afraid it delete everything. I'm not a newbie, I usually did custom ROM my other phones and stuff and once I managed to recover some stuff using adb pull as far as I remember.
Important information:
- It's the snapdragon variant with 4g and Is running the latest update of Android 13
- Apparently Is soft-brick, the cellphone can go to download mode, but I couldn't make It go into fastboot
- When I manage to do the stuff to go to fastboot, appears the android robot loading something, It goes to 100% and bootloop again
- It is detected by the PC, but It isn't listed as a acessible storage neither It files
- Only way to turn It off Is discharging and with a lot of restarts It's heating a lot
Please, I beg for help! Anything might help!
For modern Samsung phones, there is only download or recovery mode.
If you're trying to get a fastboot mode that doesn't exist, you're going to hit strange places.
Try a 1-file firmware flash in Odin. Perhaps the data will remain intact.
You absolutely can't use 4-file firmware for flashing, because you will definitely wipe everything from the phone.
there is a way that I have not tried on a semi-breick.
using odin,
BL
PA.
CP.
CSC_HOME.
(MUST BE CSC_HOME NOT THE NORMAL CSC)
So it doesn't format the internal storage. It is as if you updated via ota.
Go into download mode and follow the procedure.
look for the system identical to that of the ota or a version earlier.
I update my cell phone like this, I never get the updates by ota,
so under the most current system, I open odin.
I put everything in its place, the CSC_HOME is the one I use and not the normal CSC.
This makes it only update and does not delete anything, as if it were an ota.
I did it recently from the January to February patch.

excuse me, but what's a 4-file firmware? My principal concern is about the software I''ll flash, cause the one that got me a problem was a security patch of 1gb of content, and when I download the last one in these sites is a 6gb file apparently listed as the same date I got, so I kinda confused If it screws one and for all. Other thing I was thinking about It's if It's possible to use any adb command like adb pull or something, principally cause I'm afraid I couldn't manage to install a 6gb file because the device is short in storage

So I searched for the last one, couldn't find the 1gb security patch cause It's only available a 6gb but with the same date as the one I instaled via OTA. Well, my concern is that I don't have these 6gb available in my device, and I was thinking about the adb pull command, I haven't tried yet adb commands at the moment, but It was the solution I used years ago in a Motorola device and managed so rescue most of my files, do you think It's an option or there Is any other way I could manage to get some available storage to install the firmware via odin or even try to "naturally" unbrick It, cause maybe the problem It's beeing caused by insufficient storage, right? Only thing I know It's I am hella anxious about It

hello colleague a way of not losing anything. It's how I describe it to you. download system 6.44 gb android 13. it can be current patch or a previous one. you load the whole system by odin and you must put CSC_HOME not normal CSC.

It doesn't matter if you have 1 GB of internal storage.. odin will only update the system. It will not integrate the 6.44 gb of the system .. only what is necessary to update without losing mada

So what's a 1-file and 4-file firmware? The one I download does have AP, BL, CP CSC, that would be an 4-file firmware for flashing? I saw this information about https://android.stackexchange.com/q...msung-4-filesrepairing-firmware-and-single-fi
Well, about the 4-file, there is problem of wiping everything even if using CSC_home? Some research and other response told It would not, but what's your opinion about? Btw, I appreciate the effort to help. Thanks.
Using firmware.zip containing 4 files will clear the partition before flashing.
Therefore, the suggestion to upload only CSC_HOME may not solve the problem described in the OP.
There may be data loss, although this is not certain.
If you find reliable information from some user that the data will not be deleted, then the risk of data loss will be less, but it will be there nonetheless.
Since you don't have the ability to run the phone in download mode to wipe the cache partition, the only sensible choice to revive the phone is to renew the partition with 4-file firmware.
Please treat my post as advice and not as an oracle.
You will have to make the final decision on the course of action yourself.

Hello colleague.
Well, for my part I tell you that you comment wrongly.
I update security patches by odin.
It's already 3 times that I update by odin only the patches and it doesn't delete anything at all.
I use the 4 files, have you ever done it or do you just comment it without having done it?
I repeat the procedure
open odin and load the files like this.
BL_G781USQU9HWB2_G781USQU9HWB2_MQB61904472_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
AP_G781USQU9HWB2_G781USQU9HWB2_MQB61904472_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_OS13.tar.md5
CP_G781USQU9HWB2_CP23675490_MQB61904472_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_OYN_G781UOYN9HWB2_MQB61904472_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
Until now, when the odin process is finished, my s20 fe turns on and a screen appears
like the one I will upload.
I am giving a possible solution to the problem that he asks for, let's hope it solves his problem.
If the system continues to give problems, it would be to look for another alternative.
I invite you to investigate
what is the use of CSC_HOME
Search on Google:
How to update my samsung without losing information.
you will see the instructions,
I already did it and nothing was deleted (I was afraid because it was the first time I did it, but it was successful)
If you have doubts, you can keep looking.
I only gave my opinion about a procedure that I currently do with my s20 faith.
I have not lost information, good luck colleagues.

Gracias.

Well, I did everything about the home_CSC using the last firmware available but no success, only positive thing that happened Is that now I can access the recovery mode. So I was thinking of trying other firmware that Is available and kinda matches the date that the last update came. If you guys have any more advice I'd appreciate and thanks for the help so far

I remember installing wps office app when my device restarted to install the system update, it's my main suspect about what caused the bootloop. Well, I appreciate your sugestion but could you please guide me in this proccess? I'm new to Samsung and the last time I managed to use ADB commands was in Motorola, now in samsung I guess I'm not doing the procedure as I should. I'm really desperate, not only because I need my device for everything but mainly because I really don't want to lose my data

Well it could be the problem. The problem is that with a unlocked phone (via TWRP) we can use ADB commands.
Put your phone on download mode and try this fastboot command:
fastboot reboot recovery
or
fastboot reboot bootloader
then try:
List all disabled apps:
[email protected]:/ # pm list packages -d
package:com.android.calculator2
package:com.google.android.apps.inputmethod.hindi
package:jp.co.omronsoft.iwnnime.ml
package:com.google.android.inputmethod.pinyin
package:com.google.android.inputmethod.korean
package:com.google.earth
[email protected]:/ #
and tell me what apps are disabled.
