Nexus 5 Lollipop Final Release Build ThreadThis Thread serves to be the reference thread for all the stuff related to the release build of Lollipop which is going to be released very soon. Official Android Twitter account confirmed the lollipop release today.
Note:DO NOT DISCUSS ABOUT THE RELEASE SCHEDULE OF THE FINAL IMAGE.
Update: The download link is up. Get your image here. Link
Note:Please keep this thread clean and do not post any questions which could have been already answered in other threads and I believe there is a separate thread for such discussions. Also try to be as specific as possible when you report bugs so that the details about the bug would be added to OP in proper manner.
Enjoy the dessert guys.
Note to Mods: This is not the replacement thread to the Discussion thread you just closed. :highfive:
final isnt right. release version is right. as with other android versions, it will get revised, probably many more times than once. oh, still, i do not see the point to your thread?

To serve as Index thread to anyone who wants to get started with the Release Build. Some short guides may be added to the thread if necessary or the links to the basic stuff like 3rd party kernels and different mods would be definitely added. Peace.
Still can't see the links on the website, but download started, that's weird :')

So make sure you've got a backup before trying it.

hi everybody they got a thread here i dont know where the thread is but the development is stop for now and the reason is that their first try was a not booteable rom but we should wait to see if they make us a good build
so lets wait and see if that come to us i love to have more developers here and this guys has a good team i am optimist that they can make a good build like the cm team and jokersax.
is a very good situation to have good developers around.

it's not a suitable device for custom builds.
-To get into fastboot, hold the Power button for one second, release

-When flashing via fastboot, run "fastboot erase" on each partition
before flashing that partition, as the bootloader doesn't do it
automatically.
-I'm hoping to make a factory image of the preview build available
after Google I/O.

AOSP Jelly Bean to run and access WiFi on Nexus 7, once it's released.

I think the last point is the most significant, we shouldn't have ANY issues with our AOSP custom builds!

The changelogs kinda read security enhancements and various bug fixes. Anyone have any idea as to what the "various bug fixes" refers to? Do I assume it fixes camera which, for a long time, has been kinda slow and whatnot :/

Who said that? Also if you have lollipop and another custom kernel for your model why don't you try the F version. If it bootloops just put the Kernel for your device on... (If it's Exynos than I'm 100 sure it won't work and nobody from echoe said it'll be supported)

F versions wont work. Even after custom Kernel, the modem won't work. Besides at that point I still need Samsung to release the source for the Lollipop W8 Kernel, which in turn means I need to wait for LP to be released, which in turn makes all of this pointless.

Yeah that's why I said "if" you have lollipop. I'm sorry you guys can't use it.
@rudeboy150 I thought you guys would be interested in updates. The Kernel and Thread links are down at this point. Also I'm a member of the echoe team so be assured I did talk with the developer of echoe and AEL.
thanks. I tried to sign in on the forums but didnt get the activation link to my email.
anyway, can the rest of us know what was the reason you guys decided to go off xda? no one really gave any reasons

I think questions like this are best answered in pm. I really like to keep the thread as an info thread where someone from the team or I are posting the updates of Kernels and maybe ROMs. It's not a Q&A thread and there will be little to none (with last more likely) ROM or Kernel support.
Will this kernel work on n910h?

Haven't seen this posted here so here it goes. Official nightlys were released for T-Mobile G4. Link to downloads are here - https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=h811
Lollipop, I'm guessing?
Yes. It is CM 12.1

Awesome!
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing your findings as it is very much appreciated! Feels good to flash something other than stock(ish) ROMs on this beast of a phone. I've only had it on for a few hours but have only come across minimal issues. They are making some great progress! Can't wait to see what the first official stable release will look like.
Ooops...
Does anyone have some of the earlier nightlys? I flashed latest nightly, full of bugs, want to go back but previous zips all return a 404 error.
I can't find them either

Be careful, it doesn't have VoIP activated yet. If you live in a band 12 LTE area you won't receive calls. My calls were going to voicemail with LTE service.
