Hey guys,
I got the LG G Watch R just 4 hours ago and I'm already loving it! But something is really weird, I'm still on 100% even though I used it frequently and installed an update. Restarting didn't change anything. Got any Ideas? That really freaks me out...
here is the same...

Don't worry. Happened to me too. Just give it more time, it'll eventually start draining. It only happened the first time I took it out of the box. Maybe the battery has to calibrate or something.

Hey all, I've been experiencing the dreaded LG freezes and reboots.
Coming from CM, I used NVFlash to go back to stock, stock recovery, stock rom, etc.
I've got it all packed up to send to LG tomorrow for a warranty repair, I'll keep you posted and tell you how it goes, because I know a lot of people are experiencing the same issue as me.
I've been told the process usually takes 7-10 days
The new update for the fix of BSOD is due out in the next week or two, might aswell keep it till then, try the update and if still no good send it back.

Good luck dude. Got mine through carphonewarehouse who told me it would have to be repaired 2 times before they would exchange the handset. My guess is they will either update yours with the upcoming update or just put it all to stock.
Hope it works for ya. I'm waiting for the update, then if all is not well i shall have to go through the motions for something like the htc sensation.
My phone has had no lock ups for ages. Today installed fancy and beautiful widget apps, on charging got BSOD and phone restarted 3 times in-call. Deleted those and launcher pro and adw launcher and now all is well with the world. Why i have no idea!!

well the last update that fixed the crashes/freezes and reboots didn't work. I'm not convinced that LG could write a piece of software to fix a hardware problem as my later model hasn't rebooted/frozen once. And that has the same software on it my earlier model had that rebooted a few times a day.

that means nothing, if only one test fails it will be delayed again and that probably gona happen. (even if its not happening its aa good excuse for lg to delay indefinitely) i say we dont see an update till end of the year...

Well at least they were generous enough to send me a pre-paid Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery package.
It's been just over a week now, and they told me I'd receive it yesterday... I've been calling LG Support nearly every day.
Been 10 days now, and I've just been able to find out that it's "Awaiting parts"... For now it just seems like I'm being dicked around. Less than pleased -.-
My phone is up and running from quite long time and still going on (no signs of rebbot )

How would rebooting the phone help the hardware? Ask yourself that question.
There's TVs that have been on in the bar I work at for the last 9 years non stop 24/7, they won't die.

as far as my understanding goes ... few of the process uses some part of memory continuously and can cause few glitches to hardware since its hitting same place again and again... Reboot free up everything and start new processes allocating new memories.. (I may totally wrong or dumb ) ... that y asked..anyways I'll keep it running until totally needed to reboot...
Heyy!! +1 for UP Time Thread ... havent seen that thread for Incredible S....

Thats a long time
So do you find that it performs the same after that long as if you had just rebooted?
I never have mine on for more than 48 hours
When I charge overnight, I turn the phone off
I also have it set to do heaps of performance enhancing stuff on boot so maybe mine is just faster after reboot because of that

True it work faster after reboot... running so long it started showing lags, apps load slow... and main problem I faced was network..it started loosing network quite frequently... once complete reboot all gone and response is little better...
Hi Folks, I hve had my note for 1 year now and haven't had any battery problems until 2 days ago when I flashed a jb rom. All was fine for about 10 hours when I started to recharge the battery again that went fine, charged to 100% and unplugged, the phone said it was at 100%. After another few hours the phone cut out, no warning just cut out. I could get the phone back on but only when plugged into the charger. So, heres my problem, phone says battery is fully charged but when I unplug the charger it cuts out now. if I boot in to recovery with out the charger it stays on for hours. if I try to start the phone up normally with out charger it doesn't work. I have tried another battery again it started fine for almost a day then the same problems again. I have tried several kernels and roms in case it was one of those that was causing the problem but its the same every time. Im not a newb when it comes to flashing roms some im 100% sure its all ok in that department. any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Graham
My note is also about 10 months old. I want to know if my battery stats. I feel like my phone is giving me short time.

What really matters here is your screen on time (I can get around 4h30 with heavy use). I also see you have a few notifications so there might be some draining apps running in the background (like that *** Facebook app which is constantly running in the background even with notifications off). In any case BBS should help you identify the "rogue" app (if any). Also I don't use Google Now as it's kind of a battery killer.
this problem is same with me...after 1 year use gnote
and this is battery problem..i dont know whats is causing it...
i try to enter recovery mode and ..battery is good..almost 4 hours screen on recovery mode
but if I try to start the phone up normally phone is reboot after 1minute in homescreen android
trying with different rom jb ..same problem ..
after replace my battery ..problem is gone..
@strachg If the phone used to work well before you flashed JB I'd recommend going back to ICS to see if the problem persists. If it disappears the reason is JB which would not supprise me since all JB roms for the Note are not really bug free. If the phone continues to behave like you described and changing the battery does not help either I'd say it's a hardware failure.

Hi, Yeah I already tried going back to ics and it was just the same, it just seems like a bit of coincidence and really annoying lol. The only thing I can think off that is causing it is as you say that its a hardware fault and it must be overcharging the battery and breaking it. If it was JB that was causing it im sure I wouldn't have been the only one by now.
thanks
Graham
how did you install jb? Was it clean on safe kernel? You havent eliminated the possibility of software issues.
Qazibazit, it looks ok.
Guideline 3,5-4,5 hours on screen time is normal (if you play games can be less, thus is from full to 1%). Total standby time, usually more then 24 hours is normal.
If you have a lot less, go read ahalfords sticky on wakelocks. All you need to know to optimize battery.

Hi baz 77 yeah using safe kernel, tried a few actually. And using utackas. Version of paranoid android now again tried a few Roms. Everything was wiped and redone the process about 20 times. I looked through all the roms. And kernel threads and no one has had this problem. New battery coming so will see how it goes now.
Cheers

yep thats pretty definitive, at least if all those roms are not having same base and thus posibly same issues.
Your new battery will improve your experience quite a bit if its a good one!
Have fun with it and let us know if it worked for you
Hey guys, lately my phone has been spontaneously dropping about 20-30% of the battery in a matter of about a second. It never seems to be related to what I'm doing and is very frustrating. I don't know what to think about this. Is my phone going bad, is it the ROM going bad (cm 10.2 m), or is it something else? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

How long have you had the phone? You should try calibrating your battery.
Since April. How can you calibrate it?
Sent from my XT894 using Tapatalk
I don't recall if it's CM that has a built in calibrator, but someone has one built into the menus on the ROM. Other wise you can try to download an app for it. I haven't had any luck with the battery stat resetting apps.
Try this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en
That app was last updated Apr of 2011......if it were me, I would want to run something that's had some more design and thought put into it in the past 3 years.
My 2 cents.

There is a new update that started to roll today with Baseband: G920TUVU3DOI1
Per website, indicates various bug fixes and improvements.
Have you download it? Feedback?
Anybody know if there is still root for this new updated version? How large is the update file?

Per the website 62.78 MB
Right, it is a very small update. I am installing right now. I am not rooted or anything. So i will try and give some feedback when i finish installing. But i am sure that it is going to take a few days to notice any actual changes.
There's already another thread that was created yesterday about this update. Maybe we should all stick to that one so we have a unified place for information gathering. Allegedly this update was to activate Samsung Pay, but mine still did not work. I am completely stock and unrooted. I don't care, I just want better battery (too early to tell).
A 62mb update to enable Samsung pay? Yeah that doesn't make much sense at all.

I have it installed and phone is running smooth. Haven't gotten to use the Android pay or Samsung pay yet but it looks sweet. My company is looking into getting an NFC android pay reader so I'll be looking into using it.

The update made the RAM usage little smaller, better battery and overall experience.
The only issue found when using data, sometimes it automatically turns off. I have to go to data and turn it back again... weird
With this new update this speech to text keeps freezing up.

I have Data off, International Data On, Wi-Fi calling off, VoLTE off.
When the phone goes to sleep and the Wi-FI is disconnected (I have "Keep Wi-Fi during sleep off), when it goes off it automatically turns on the Data....
If I have the data on, it goes off automatically. I have to run it on again to use it....
I haven't found the issue what is causing this. Phone not rooted

No issues here...everything works fine.
around day 2 after the latest update i noticed my battery life seemed to be lasting longer. I noticed my "time left" quote was exceptionally high, normally quoting 25ish hours max on a full charge, this time quoting 38.
last friday was the first day of any major usage. used it more than i typically do even on fridays (sat and watched youtube videos quite a lot), with 2 20 minute charges or so, from 8:00am to 6pm it was getting heavy usage, with about 3 hours of youtube going, and at the end of hte day i was above 60%.
That had me floored as normally after a normal friday, I'd be pushing my luck for 40% even with using my portable charger, and thats without youtube.
tomorrow I'll get to give it another hard test and see if it holds up again. if it does i think i will suddenly love my phone now
