Any suggestions?
There is a new way to get into the recovery. It is as follows.
When your at the injured android the old way was to hold volume up for a few seconds then power tap. It is opposite now.

Yes I to was having the issue and discovered that it had changed. Would be nice if Motorola would reflect it on their support site.
Glad it helped you.

In fact, after it says it has flashed with success i can only resort to opening the battery cover and reset with the red button...since i am cooking a rom - i don't want to do it since the battery cover will become eventually loose!
...how do you to reboot it ?
simply, by making a hole in the battery cover

indeed! cooking roms and testing the various installs/lite/languages we would need a USB reboot system controlled by foot, like in automated manufacturing!
Type with your feet

It already exists, but you will have to put your laptop on the floor and install EveryWAN Remote Support (free software), which can reboot your device through USB cable, then learn to type with your feet ...
It's a reset button. I looked at the ME370t's FCC documents and it states in the manual that, it's a reset button, probably a removed feature after Google's advice.

anyone daring enough to press it to see if it's a soft or hard reset? maybe hold it in while the device boots up?
also, I found some preliminary test photo's with the plastic backings.
But there's no hole? Its more of a dent...

You would take the back off to try it.
Via my HTC Rezound
if this button actually works, or is system mappable i might just take my dremel and drill out that little dent
also I see that Google switched out the NAND's probably to save money
from the H26M42001FMR (8GB Hynix NAND)
to the KE44B-26BN (8GB Kingston NAND)
I didn't know Google did their testing in demolished buildings. Who knew!

It's the FCC, they're doing radiation testing in there so I wouldn't expect it to be pretty

yes, that is the 2nd microsd hole. likely for improved noise cancelling for features like Google now. Anandtech confirmed this. plus I tried putting something in THST hole and it did nothing(before I knew it was a mic hole). I hope I didn't bust the mic there..lmfao
Interesting, however I'm not going to try it, I'm scared.

Yesterday I received the phone and started to use it then charged it, finally after 5 hours I installed the SIM Card and (Micro SD was already installed when I started to charge it) but when I tested dead trigger in a load screen in black I saw a pixel in white(also in the game) but in other black screen wasnt on it for then I thought that it was a problem of the game cracked, when I start the phone today I saw in the most brigt black screen the white pixel on it but after the screen get less bright and still in LG logo load screen the pixel was black again , What Could I do? I see this in every dark image(because the color is white)

Someone?
Take a screen shot (by quick memo) and go to gallery then see it ,, if you can see that pixel in the picture , then the problem is with system or kernel .

I have had a brief hands on with the Sony Xperia Z1 yesterday in the Sony Center. I have to say that I loved the phone. I did find something curious though under the sim flap. There is a red button which says "OFF" is that to double as the SIM deactivator (another airplane mode type thing). I asked in store and the employees had no idea what it is used for.
P.S Sorry for the crap picture quality

Thanks mate. I guess if you found the same in ZL it is probably the same here. Xperia Z does not have that so I eas confused as to the purpose to this. I still am a little bit tbh. VOL UP +POWER work just fine so what is the need for the extra electronics. Thanks

Yep It's a physical button to hard reset the handset in case it freezes!
I've just tested it and it is a physical power button like people have already said, I held it down for 3 seconds and the phone just turned off, pretty handy if you ask me.
Very odd, that look like the corrosion detector like there are on the Z, that become red/pink if that take water, but yeah it's a physical button like the Z Ultra.
Anyone else having any WiFi issues? I work on an upper floor of a nice, thick goverment hospital. The WiFi has normally been OK for me with my last two phones (S2 & S3), but today is my first day at work with the GN3 and all I get is "Network disabled because internet connection is slow". Yeah, it's always been kinda slow, but my other phones and my tablets hook up anyway. This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that the thick building blocks a lot of the 4G signal; I've got to be in a room with a window (AKA "Patients Room) for a decent signal. So I've got this badass new phone that can't connect to the internet a lot of the time.
Anyone have any suggestions? I can't find anything under the advanced options to convince it to connect. I'm sure a nice custom ROM would probably help, but we all know where we are with that at the moment.

Make sure that's not checked in the advanced wifi settings
For me, it seems to be on par with other devices (ie HTC One, LG Optimus G Pro, GS4).
