Worked fine zte awe stock android 4.1.2. Did cause heavy lag when pulling down to access notification area. Almost to the point of completely stopping the status bar pull down from responding. Also caused system ui crash when turning particular toggles on or off. I am guessing but I believe most of these issues are coming from the toggle settings apk. Could be a system memory issue for my device. Operating with 1024mb ram. Should be enough though to easily run this. Did notice it uses 17mb memory. Thats an awful lot. Thats as much as a system launcher. Optimize memory use seems to be in order. But then again,that depends on your device.

[RELEASED (ALPHA)][PC TOOL] Gimp - AutoTransparency (aids making bootanimation)

Hi there, i have found (for me) that when creating a boot animation if i want something to fade in and out... it can be a painful task of changing transparency on a layer and then saving as...
Features:
MAIN:
automatically change the transparency of a layer
automatically save file as
auto increment number when saving (001.png 002.png) upto 999
saves me (and maybe you) a lot of time!
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Future Plans:
add a proper gui
enable opacity - autosave feature
custom transparency/opacity step size
custom 00X.png start number
custom sleep sizes (faster pc's can do more per sec)
enable saving to a folder (ie part0)
auto select layers + automate (so you can leave your computer and its done when you are back )
automatically add hotkeys
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
v0.1alpha
10% transparency steps only (for now)
NO Increase Opacity (for now, you can swap the hotkey F2 to opacity)
Always starts from 002.png (for now)
largest save number is 999.png (wont even get there lol)
saves about 1.5 files/second
I will upload pictures soon, and then a beta release if people are interested.
if you dont understand what this does please say so, ill try clarify anything!

Quicknav and Quick Settings Questions

1. Can I remove the text from the Quicknav bar in any way? Just leave the icons?
2. Can I get a separate link to the 'Quick settings' page that I can get to by pressing the top right of the status bar (around the battery/clock area - it gives me the wifi toggle option). Using NTMM, the actions for the Statusbar are 'default' but I do not know what the default option actually is. And if I can remap it to the quicknav bar for instance.
Cheers

OK, as a compromise I have done this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
To do this, I backed up the apps that I wanted to change, then decompiled them on my PC, changed the app name and the main icons, recompiled and signed, and reinstalled. ( I had to uninstall the old versions first). For gmail,, I edited the apk in the ntgappsattack folders, and reapplied this patch from nookmanager again (no uninstall necessary). After mapping the apps to the quicknav bar (using ntmm), a reboot is required to update the bar.
FYI, the apps are L7, Opera mobile, Coolreader, Gmail and ES file explorer.
To remove the names, I could remove the app names, though this is not perhaps the best idea (though doable... if in doubt rename the apps a different number of spaces, so they have something... for instance my L7 'Home' app name is actually '_Home_' so as not to confuse teh system with the Nook 'Home', and the name will stay centred.

[MINI CODE MOD][2.3+] Colored Battery Percentage Text Level (left of battery) !

Hello guys, welcome to my new small work on eclipse.. This is a minor mod on Battery Text Level to make it a little bit colorize..
What is it for ?
Lots of users use battery % text on the left of battery icon and its color is white.
This will change color otomatically to;
BatteryLevel %0 - %9 >> RED
BatteryLevel %10 - %19 >> ORANGE
BatteryLevel %20 - %100 >> WHITE

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Small Guide
Download file and unpack it. You will see com/erhany/ColoredBatteryText** ( 2 smali files)
Decompile SystemUI.apk and copy erhany folder inside smali/com folder.
ICS+, CM..
go to res/layout/ statusbar xml file, find battery text line if you have. add android:visibility="gone" into it and then rewrite same code
starting with <com.erhany.ColoredBatteryText ... and dont type android:visibility="gone" into this one.
If you dont have battery text line above battery; start with <com.erhany.ColoredBatteryText ... and you can use your clock line codes or how you want to set it..
* I can't give full code line, because it may differ due to stock ICS, CM or other..
GB
We all know GB icons are in a linearlayout and we cant seperate them so u can use
Code:
<com.erhany.ColoredBatteryText android:textSize="14.0dip" android:gravity="center" android:paddingRight="6.0dip" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="fill_parent" />
this code or whatever you want..
- Code tested on GB and must work on ICS+ , CM,.. Dont know for Aosp etc..
As I told, this is a minor mod to make statusbar area a lil bit colorize..
there was an error while compiling smali. Open smali file and change code to this>> const v0, 0xffffa500 and save

Thanks

Very cool! I use your battery text on a few of my devices and this would be a neat improvement.
This isn't very related but is it possible to do a mod like this that displays the carrier label?
When I say a mod like this, I mean a few smali files and a line of xml.

I've been very busy with my android desktop and was a big rush to get my supplies LauncherAdvanced, unique thread of my development HERE
I would like to clarify that I have compiled this launcher for a long time, then the android trendy JB was 4.2, I had to make some optimizations so that it can get better at 4.4 and 5.1 (maybe in the future 6.0).
The purpose of the launcher is the same as I always have in mind, do not like and have never liked large packages and applications do not like too much RAM consumption, thinking that I developed this launcher, it is a typical size coming from ADW sources @AnderWeb (Thanks).
Their characteristics are very clear, see below:
Desktop settings
Set icons and wallpaper
Set style dock bar
You can set colors and transparencies in the apps grid
you can create folders and name them
Speed to open the apps grid
Animations, themes etc ..
You can also back up and restore it if you want to save your settings
Known bugs:
At the moment he does not have a transparent status bar (I will fix this)
By using wallpaper is a blur in the dock bar (only the launcher wallpapers, you can use other without problems)
Some other?
It is fully in the development of state and I will appreciate if you understand java and can help me with corrections, so I'll leave my sources available on GitHub
DOWNLOAD HERE
To install:
Download the latest launcher
Pass to your SD
Install usually how to install an apk SD
enjoy
Hi dev I'm using this launcher from past 3 days, really I'm loving it.
I got every thing which I want like ,
It's light weight.
Smooth
I can set it to full screen by hiding status bar.
Specially the short cut icon sick at the bottom ( I really loved the concept).
But after using it I felt like I'm using kitkat launcher in my One plus one (5.1 lollipop).
And their is no smooth scrolling.
Their is a problem with animation.
I'm not getting the widgets properly like my cm weather widget unable to display weather only time and date .
Each icon using more space then the actual size.
I'm unable to increase the size of icons .
Old type widget and shortcut section menu etc .
But I'm still using it coz I'm loving it.
Hope you ll update it soon with latest standards.
Thank you dev
