I just started theming and figured out how to change the numbers on my 4.2.2 dialer (contacts) app. I'm stuck because I can't find a png picture of each of the numbers (0-9 with the letters a-z), but in white instead of holo blue. If anyone can point me at a resource for this, I'll be able to theme my own dialer app.
Thanks in advance
Little help anyone? Been trying to find the white (or even gray) dialer numbers on the web, but not coming up with anything.

I am having a little trouble figuring something out ... I have a theme file and I love it, but when I try to read my text messages, the theme makes the background of the text messages have dark colored lines that fade from right to left as the background and it's hard to read the messages. I can't seem to figure out what colors are causing this to change them to something lighter (or make it just a blank background). Any suggestions?
I'm using the AT&T Tilt with the purple theme found here:

When I click the individual messages, I get the basic white background and that's fine, but I really would rather have a white bg (or at least lighter purple stripes so I can read it easier) on the page that lists the text messages.
Search the forums for a program called 'RC Bar'. It will allow you to change the background color for the text messages, along with the color of most other things like the top & bottom bars, today text, start menu text, etc.
I had the same problem, all you need to do is change the theme and change it back. That should solve the problem.
By installing the dialer black, all right, the digits appeared and contacts when you select the phone, in white. Now, after uninstalling the dialer black, when I select the phone, the contacts are shown in white. As the depth of color, as if not listed. Can someone tell me how to modify the source of those contacts to pass it to black? Thank you in advance.
was just wondering if anyone knew how to make a black theme usable on my HD7? i know how to add custom themes but when i make it black i cant read certain things like the time stamp on my text messages and other things. is there an app or registry tweak i can do to change the color of whatever text is black to white so i can make my black theme usable? thanks for your time.
Hi all,
I have been working at this problem for a while now, with no luck. I am building my theme and I've changed the png's for the notification drawer background to black, and then changed all the relevant xml's inside framework-res and SystemUI to have white text.
The only remaining problem is that downloads (as well as media scanning operations) still use black text (which, on the black background renders it unreadable). I've tried editing DownloadProvider.apk to no avail. I even tried at one point to change the system style for StatusBar.EventContent (and .Title) but that didn't seem to have any effect either.
Does anyone have any other ideas as to how to force the text colour to change?
Thanks in advance!
I was just curious, as I can't find a fix, how hard it is to change the notification text color of an app by editing it's theme. It's black text, on a black background, and I can't find any other fairly current release of it that's different. Thanks in advance.
