Hi guys
I have Galaxy S GT I9000XXJPK which it's working on Froyo 2.2 version
I'd like to upgrade it to kitkat 4.4.2, ALL I know is :
- first of all I have to upgrade it to Gingerbread 2.3.x
- then Root the phone by voodoo-kernel using Odin
- so I can be able to flash any kitkat ROM through the recovery mode
The problem that I m facing now is : How to upgrade my phone to Gingerbread 2.3.x ?!!!
this is what I really need from you please,
I know well the rest of the processes ( how to flash kitkat on gingerbread " I tried that ")

I'm on Gingerbread 2.3.5 and i want to update to kitkat.
Do I need to update to ICS or JB before proceeding to Kitkat?
I need advice or guide on whats the best method in updating...
Thank you :fingers-crossed:
Apparently, according to Sammobile, this device officially supports 4.0.4 and 4.1.2 only. Could I install 4.1.1 without any issues? Also, could I use Odin for this?
