Hello all
I am looking to extend the BeanStalk Rom to your device, however, I don't own the device and can not test it. I currently build for quincyatt and you can find my thread here and screenshots are in the original thread (link in my OP)

The 9-05 build: Installed clean. Runs very smooth. Also, camera works fine, video works fine on it. Other 4.3's have had problems with video recording, but didn't get any errors here.
First problem was with Holo launcher HD. Tried using this first, but "Unfortunately holo launcher has stopped". Trebuchet worked OK.
Main issue has been errors with google apps. Used the gapps linked, also had a copy already on sd card, a lot of "unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped", "unfortunately the process com.google.process.location has stopped", google account manager has stopped" etc. It is acting as if it were a wrong gapps version, but its not, its the 8-13-2013. Everything works, just errors.
I could reliably cause this when changing wifi networks. Here is a logcat while changing network and forcing the error.

Thanks for the information. Holo launcher should work fine after it updates through google play. If it does not then again, let me know. I'll look at the logcat (and probably send it to smarter people for a second opinion too). Very busy with school these next two weeks, please give me some time
One thing you could try is to use slim gapps from slimBean....I know it sounds weird, but it's fixed problems in the past for me

Slim gapps on a clean install same problem with gapps and google services errors.
No problem, no hurry. Take your time, school first. :good:

Finally installed the rom sorry for the delay it's running smooth restored my data through helium n its working fine...I will report of any problems...thank u patch!!

UPDATE: so I've being running it for over 16 hours n I gotten 6 reboots (damn) n FC's on at least 4 apps I backed up the rom so whenever there's a new nightly I'll flash it and hope to get the FC'S n reboots minimized as for now I'm running skeleton key... Thank u patch Lmk when u get a new nightly update :thumbup::thumbup:

I build Beanstalk for the t0lte note 2 and I'm also getting gapps crashes. I tried many gapps and the result is always the same, let each other know patch adams if we get something!

Thanks for dropping by will! I don't have much gapps issue on i717 beanstalk unless I dirty flash, but some others seem to have issue. Did I see you found a better 4.3 gapps forum??

moderators....shold this get moved to a development section?? It is a rom and I'll work on it from time to time...Thanks!

Folks...if gapps FC's try the PA gapps for 4.3....thanks

Lol yeah u should or they should move it to development page n it's not gapps it's a few apps that FC's n clock freezes on me too lol

OK, clean build using PA gapps (full), and things seem better. One error on setup but for an hour or so now, no gapps errors. Running pretty smooth, will give more feedback later as it happens.
Camera video doesn't work after the first one, same as other 4.3's.

Have you tried third party apps from play store.....I think video cam illusion is what we always used on miui....(or something like that)

No. Didn't work. I have found no camera app that will work consistently on 4.3 ROMs. Thx anyway.

There is going to be a fix in the new build for the gapps fc issues. Give me some time to get a build out.

Tested this rom and will post the screenshots soon.....This Is Way more stable than CM11 And Many CUstomizations specially that i want...
And Yes Sim1 2G/3G Is Also Working Please Fix Wifi And There seems to be a problem with magnetic sensor!

Now that @varun.chitre15 have fixed wifi in cm11 alpha2, you should also fix wifi and all the things which have been fixed in cm11 alpha2... keep up with cm11 bug fixes

some processes stop abruptly
Here's what I did... @##W4TCHOUT##
Flashed the ROM, tweaked all the settings to my preference and being the last option left to change, I disable the USB debugging in developer options and all of a sudden I'm bombed with messages saying com.process.android and com.process.media (or something like that, I don't remember the exact process name of this one) has stopped working... they're 2 different processes which stop as soon as you disable USB debugging. I thought a re-flash would fix it, so I re-flashed the rom again (after a full wipe including caches) and it happened again when I disabled USB debugging
P.S after you disable the USB debugging and have received those two messages, phone reboots automatically, camera stops working, music player stops playing audio too... there might be more bugs which I haven't encountered yet
switched to cm11 alpha2 now

HE NEVER FORCED YOU TO USE HIS COMPILED WORK. He's doing it for free and bringing a new rom based on a talented dev'a work. If you OWN THIS DEVICE, why don't you compile and make people happy with a new rom? Remember, IT'S PURELY USER'S CHOICE IF HE WANT TO FLASH A ROM OR NOT, HE ALREADY MENTIONED HE DOESN'T OWN THE DEVICE SO USERS HAVE A CHOICE. HE NEVER FORCED ANYBODY TO FLASH IN ANY SINGLE POST.

Install Instructions:
1. Download ROM
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Please back up your ROM before you begin!
4. You need a full wipe*
5. Flash the ROM

Support on this thread is for LiquidSmooth ROM related issues only.
While we do not mind helping, its getting impossible to sort through issues that are ROM related or not. Persistent non-ROM related issues are best suited for the Galaxy s3 i9300, Help & Troubleshooting Section.
Below is a few things I would appreciate you list when you are having issues so we have as much information as possible when trying to help you with your problems.
Is this a Clean flash
Is this the stock kernel
What firmware revision are you on
What gapps package are you using
Have you had this issue on other ROMs
Do you have any apps that change/modify system preferences (Xposed, etc)

"All" is relative to each person. There are some parts that will break with O3 and have to be O2 or Os. Stability over speed. The more that's O3 the more chances that you lose stability. Could there be more added, sure. We'll get there

Disabled and permissive are basically the same. In permissive SeLinux its active and reporting, disabled its not active at all. Right now to the user, its pretty much the same thing

well i saw in Liquidsmooth updates in about phone showing me the 25-02-2015 -LS-LP and LS -KK-Milestone as available updates.
So if u read again the previous post its mentioned > there might be < . not sure if its up and running or not .

another thing @TheBr0ken, may we ask on changing SELinux mode to Permissive?
I tried to install Xposed Lollipop on this rom, but It didnt work, and when I try to change SELinux mode using SELinux Mode Changer on Playstor, it states that SElinux is not exist..

First of all.. KUDOS for the ROM.. IT IS AMAZIN...!!!
On first boot. everythin seemed to run fine, but SystemUI force closed (only once, and everythin was still runnin fine...)
The DPI can be set to 190 .. It looks MUCH better. currently it looks clumsy.. 190 is best for it..
Similar problems as 12.1, we'll wait for more builds.. but this is really not bad..!
Camera is workin WAY better than kitkat (atleast for me )
i installed from TWRP recovery, and plan to use that only now.. FREE RAM on first boot : 500 MB... great great..
CALLS: was able to place calls onto 3 other sims.. connects fine, havent tested for network issues.
INTERNAL SPACE: doesnt mount, disk usage shows only 1.3gb (system partition).. i think its due to new kernel n FS issues.. just like kitkat did with jellybean.. No FAT so .. UPDATE:: SEE ATTACHMENT.. Thats definitely SOMETHIN.. :???
FM Radio : I dont know, havent and cant test as no headphones..... but that is the least of the priorities XD
battery backup: : yet to see, wil update later I'm wanna try building a cleankat-ish rom for m2 based on PAC if you permit me to..
google bloatware: there is only play store and play services, which is actually nothing, but i'll remove them and see how/if it affects the ROM..
sensors: kernel issues, just gonna wait for some time.
soon i will try xposed and gravity box for LP.. then see how they perform.. i hope all runs well :3 :3
another report: downloaded an update for nova launcher via the Default "Downloads" apk.. it finished to 99% but wasnt saved.. storage issues :/
Wifi Settings can be surpassed (if no wi-fi) by long - pressing the Skip Button And tapping on it again and again..
edit: unable to set nav bar via gravitybox.. it is sorta useful as its quick.
and .. sometimes when i boot up my phone it has 3 things : 1. wifi cant be turned on and 2. sim cant be detected
3. it also deletes ALL contacts.. even those in the SIM card..
Audio/Video Rec: wait, testing. (3rd party)

Update steps
* Backup all apps incl. data in Titanium Backup.
* Reboot into recovery.
* Make a Full Wipe (delete all partitions except for internal storage) before flashing the ROM and GAPPs.
* Reboot system.
* Setup your phone and start Playstore to load Google account, etc.
* Install Titanium Backup and restore your apps incl. data.
* If any app should be force-closing, you need to reboot into recovery and wipe cache & dalvik-cache.

I have 2 bugs to report:
1.- In Status Bar, when task manager is active, is displayed, task manager icon is moved to left edge, and battery icon disappear from screen.
2.- In Quick Settings, HotSpot icon isn´t shown. I can see it in edit mode, but when "Done" I can´t see it anymore

I know about the task manager issue.. Should be fixed in the upcoming updates. I am aware of the hotspot issue as well, Just try to activate Data and then see if it shows up automatically.. It might be "hidden" because of WiFi being active.
This is just a hunch. It could also be a software issue as well!

I´ll try, but I think I´ve tried WiFi off and MobileData on.

One of the best MM Rom for Moto G, in my opinion. No problem with viper4android or xposed, a lot of customization possible. What I miss or oversaw is the option to remove the brightness slider from quick settings.
Moreover, I found one issue; namely swiping left/right on the lockscreen doesn't activate shortcuts.

HI, thanks for this beatiful ROM. I just flashed it on my xt1039 and it works pretty good. I just encountered some bugs:
1. GApps couldn't install when I tried the stock version. TWRP said there's not enough storage space. Pico version worked but there were some serious issues with it - after installation and reboot system couldn't start after optimizing apps. It worked only after wipe and factory reset. (Sorry, I didn't note what message it was giving me exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was something about setup manager that couldn't start. The message box overlayed system and I was able to dismiss it by pressing "OK", but it kept re-appearing after some 0.5 seconds).
2. I can't add power button to navigation bar. After adding it and saving it says "system UI has stopped" and locks screen.
3. I can't assign any app to work on menu button long press. I had the screen locker there in my previous ROM (debloated 5.1 ROM by lost101). Is there any way to do it? (Double tap to screen lock does the job anyway).

HI, thanks for this beatiful ROM. I just flashed it on my xt1039 and it works pretty good. I just encountered some bugs:
1. GApps couldn't install when I tried the stock version. TWRP said there's not enough storage space. Pico version worked but there were some serious issues with it - after installation and reboot system couldn't start after optimizing apps. It worked only after wipe and factory reset. (Sorry, I didn't note what message it was giving me exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was something about setup manager that couldn't start. The message box overlayed system and I was able to dismiss it by pressing "OK", but it kept re-appearing after some 0.5 seconds).
2. I can't add power button to navigation bar. After adding it and saving it says "system UI has stopped" and locks screen.
3. I can't assign any app to work on menu button long press. I had the screen locker there in my previous ROM (debloated 5.1 ROM by lost101). Is there any way to do it? (Double tap to screen lock does the job anyway).

To answer all your queries..
1. You can install Micro GApps and lower only. As our phone doesn't have enough System Storage space, this leads to some problems, If you want other Google Apps, download them from Play Store or use the Aroma Version of Open Gapps. For the other issues. Its written on the OP that you have to wipe system, data, and caches to install the ROM, to update it, just simply flash the ROM zip and wipe caches and you're good to go!
2. Regarding System UI, as we all know Marshmallow is still young and development will continue to improve this in future updates.
3. Again.. See Point Number 2
4. I can't provide support for 3rd Party Apps. Ask the Action Launcher developers, I can say that maybe the app is not fully compatible with Marshmallow so bugs and issues will arise!

I have found the answer to my self ?, swiping on the lockscreen works only when shortcut icons are dragged. On cm12.1 just swiping left or right was enough. But I am fine with that.
The 01/02 build is buggy on my device when dirty flashed (not tried a clean install). It gives many FCs, status bar icons and quick tiles are distorted. I didn't check for more issues just restored the previous version. Anyone with the same problems?

Glad to hear you solved the issue yourself.. Can you try reinstalling it cleanly to make sure it's not an issue on my end. You're the only one I hear with this issue in the last build. I'll be building an update soon, but please confirm first!
And Guys.. As my classes have started now at University, I'll be building once a week, probably on weekends from now on!

I can try a clean install, cannot say exactly when, though. Let say, within 3 days.

I got a weird issue. Been using latest rom since yesterday and everyhting works fine except calling and texting, neither of them works. If I try to send a message a toast says it's not been sent and that I get the error 42. When I try to call I just get a single beep then it hungs up. I can receive both voice and sms fine though. I've tried setting new APN but no luck there. I have googled for error 42 but can't find anyrhing.

Did you clean install? If not then try that or use one of the previous builds. I'll update the ROM this Saturday. Hopefully the bugs will be gone by then
