Since Xposed framework will take a while to arrive on ART/Lollipop, I wasn't ready to upgrade to Lollipop. But I needed Lollipop for development related to API 21, so tried to multi boot stock Lollypop ROM with Kitkat 4.4.4 and everything works as it should.
Demo :
Note: I mention as 4.4.3 in the video initially, sorry was very sleepy
Requisistes :
1. MultiROM Manager - - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tassadar.multirommgr
2. TWRP Recovery with MultiROM.
3. Android Lollypop LRX21T Stock flashable zip - http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-flashable-stock-rom-radio-kernel-t2527806
4. Kernel supporting kexec hardboot patch. - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011403
Procedure on Kitkat 4.4.4 :
1. Install MultiROM Manager
2. Install/Update MultiROM, Recovery and kernel if it doesn't support kexec hardboot patch. I'm using Faux kernel V.42 which has the patch.
3. Reboot into TWRP recovery to complete the install.
4. Backup your current ROM.
5. Go to Advanced->MultiROM->Add ROM->(Select Lollipop LRX21T Stock flashable zip downloaded earlier).
6. Wait for the installation to complete.
7. Reboot, you'll be presented with an option to select the ROM (kitkat/Lollypop) to boot into. Select Lollipop and wait for the post installation procedures to finish.
8. Enjoy !

lol, thanks corrected. Just to note here, In india we follow British English and not American. Nevertheless it's how Google says it, so it's Lollipop

flashing instructions from alliance thread is given below

HOW TO FLASH ?
Coming from a non ICS ROM (GGB) or AOSP ROM get to a rooted stock TW ICS ROM first
Rooted TW ICS/JB ROM:
Flash via ROM-Customizer coming from any rooted ROM:
1. Download CustomSettings.apk HERE
2. Put it on your sdcard,
3. Open romcustomizer/flash file from sd and flash as a system app (popup will give you the choice).
4. Choose the ROM-flash settings you want in "romcustomizer/rom-settings" but be sure to tick wipe
5. Then go back to flash file from sdcard where u need to select the ROM(AllianceROM_N7000_JB-XXLS2-Base.zip)

read op in alliance thread..
he says to flash via rom customizer.folow every step and it is not hard.
you should use it and wont have any problem
you can flash via CWM. but it is not reccomended. Thats why op removed the second option to flash via cwm.
This mod will backup your existing boot animation, and install the stock Nexus boot animation. This mod also includes an addon.d script.

What is addon.d?
On some ROMs, like Cyanogenmod, there are scripts in /system/addon.d that run during a ROM update or flash. They can backup and restore system apps (like Gapps), or perform many other functions. This mod includes an addon.d script, so the boot animation is not lost during a ROM update! If your ROM doesn't support addon.d, this mod should still flash properly, but you won't benefit from addon.d.
Tested and Confirmed to work on:
I have ensured this will install the correct resolution boot animation on the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10, but it should work on virtually any Android device. Let us know if it works!
