Where can we access these from? They will not automatically download when I connect my device via USB. Looking to get them so that I can unlock bootloader before setting up the phone....
I just used the Google usb drivers from the ask and it worked fine. I can upload them if you'd like. You can find them using the Android sdk

Mb886 atrix 3 hd rooted! Thanks
Not that the warranty if expired, i used the motochopper to root. It worked very well and super easy! The one thing is that i had to do a partition clear and a factory data reset before it worked.. Which was fine. Now im sitting in awe trying to think about what all i want to do.
First thing i did was installed titanium backup. Then downloaded root app delete, which is a really nice free app to (delete system apps) it has a safety feature for novices like myself.
Just wanted to say thanks a million!
Now that ive tested it on mine ill do my moms.

If you flash any of my ROM's, in the NVFlash packs will be the appropriate matching CWR or TWRP.
Sorry I'm kinda noon here, how do I do No flash?

Hi Andrew. I actually did a how-to video on the DS7 the other night (not in relation to your question though). I will be uploading it tonight and I'll link you here when it's done.

Great video but...
I'm running a 64-bit version of Windows 8, and the 64-bit versions require (i.e. don't have any way to let you override) a digitally signed driver. So I can't get the drivers to install. If I have a 5.x version of CWM, is there some version of the zip file that I CAN use to update to JB?

I wonder if it's possible to get them digitally signed. At first, I thought it wasn't going to work until I noticed the "Yes" is basically hidden under more info.

hi,
I wasn't aware of this thread
@Yasharkhan @sangiman
You can flash it on M or L! It has nothing to do with the rom you use. It's just a .bin file that sits in the logopartition. Bootloader reads it from there.

Yes, I realize that
However I have a N7 as well, and I'd love to flash that zip on there also. Didn't know if simply replacing the .bin file by flashing the zip would work across devices, or if I'd need to have a device specific zip for the N7 to have it work successfully.

I don't know if the tool provided in the original thread is N6 specific. If it's not: i posted the original image in that thread too. Or maybe such a tool exists for the N7 too. I honestly have no idea.

Yeah, I have no idea. It doesn't seem to be device specific but I make it a general rule to never flash zips across devices unless I'm absolutely sure, hence my original question. I'll look around a bit and see what I can find. I haven't found anything like this in the N7 forums as of yet.
Again, thanks for the help, appreciate it.

UT 16.04 is nice and all but how do i upgrade the os so i could use libertine tweak tool and chromium web browser or google chrome in general
Ubuntu Touch is not like a typical linux desktop, 16.04 is th current version for Ubuntu Touch, and trying to update it will result in a bricked ROM, Libertine can be setup in the settings, chrome/chromium will not work however the built in browser "Morph" is a chromium based browser. The broken zips should also be fixed now.
Is it available for N910 G

I am not sure if its a snapdragon or exynos version, if it is a snapdragon then in theory yes, but it is untested to my knowledge. you are welcome to try it and let me know if it works or not, I can add it to my build list if you have something like the modem not working but everything else works.

Hi y'all
I got Motorola's Ready For platform running on a unsupported phone. This works only for PC (Ready For PC)
This works only on a stock rom and motorola phones only. I tried running it on a samsung a50 but no luck. This dosen't work on E series.
To get this working you will need to download Ready For apk (Thanks to a user on reddit u/Adventurous_Heat7966 for a Ready For apk)
Download quickshortcutmaker from Play Store.
Open quickshortcutmaker
Search for Ready For Service or com.motorola.mobiledesktop.core . If you have this you can go further if not then u cannot sorry mate.
Download attached apk from this thread
Install it
Open quickshortcutmaker
Search for Ready For and open action named com.motorola.mobiledesktop.desktop.MobileDesktopActivity
Then an app will Ready For open to scan a QR code on your PC with ReadyForAssistant.
Thats it everything should be working but you may experience major bugs with apps opening in Window mode.
If you need help reply on this thread and i'll try everything to help you.

Also for the docking your phone to a monitor or a tv it's currently not working because I don't have the moto experience hub that needs to work properly and an APK from a more beefier phone.

Switched to G72 too after G50 and I can confirm it won't connect since moto g50 is on MyUX 4.0 and newer devices have 4.5 (You can recognize it by the new icon of moto app. I'll try fetching new APK or ask other communities if they could extract from their phones the ready for APK. Thank you for this information, I'll rep to this quote if I'll find a fix.
