Best ROM - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, i would like know what is the best ROM now for SP? AOKP CM Existenz ecc? A summary of ROM can be useful.
Sorry for english
Thanks

sir, u got death wish?

After many tries best for me is stock rom

I've used quite some roms and kernels. For now the best two would be pacrom and Crystal PA rom. They are stable, have some additional features compared to cm11 and they are fast. With williams kernel they work smooth.

If you are looking for stock based then in my opinion eXistanZ Ultra with Williams v7 would do.

Here's what I think about the different ROMs out there!
CM11 - Great support, lots of MODs, very stable. But tends to get laggy very soon.
AOSPA - Some great unique features, great Audio, better touch sensitivity ( All the @neXus PRIME ROMs have these features.
PAC - Loaded with all the goodness from all the ROMs, but had some random reboots but that might be my problem only!
OMNI - The ROM which is the most close to AOSP. Almost the pure android experience.
AICP - Loaded with features and honestly, overloaded. Gets very laggy, really soon.
AOKP - I'm not an AOKP lover, had random problems with AOKP.
Vanir - 4.4.2 version was absolutely brilliant. It was THE fastest and most responsive ROM out there. With 4.4.4 came lots of bugs.
CM 11s - A very nice ROM. Stable and good battery life upto an extent.
SlimKat - Extremely stable for me
Stock Based - They are really stable and provides improved functionality over the Stock FWs. But no KitKat love for them!
CM 12 - Alpha Stage and unstable obviously!
Out of all these I personally prefer the OMNI or SlimKat.
P.S : All these are my opinions and may NOT be how the ROM works out for others. I respect all the developers who worked behind them

No problems in using 4.4.2 but we don't want to stick with an earlier version when you have later ones, do we? Still it's a good option!:fingers-crossed:

[Q] Which stable i9305 ROM with monthly release schedule?

I'm looking for a stable ROM for my i9305 which has strong release management: I don't want to run nightlies/weeklies and would would expect releases to be bug free or at least have an itemised list of know issues.
In short, I'm more interested in stability than quick releases of new features. A solid release every month would be ideal.
Sadly, CM11 is out - the dev doesn't seem to want to release the "milestone" or monthlies that our brother the i9300 has.
What ROMs have a track history of bug-free releases? I'm after a longer time between releases, and solid stability.

Have you tried the latest TGP (The Galaxy Project) rom? Very stable and highly customisable i've been using it for months now with no issues.

Unofficial Slimkat does the trick for me. Incredibly stable and tremendous battery life with Boeffla Omni kernel.

I'm a bit wary of unofficals after my previous unoffical ROM developer (Archidroid - rodman01) just put [discontinued] on the xda thread and then walked away!
I settled for LiquidSmooth (which I believe is based on Slimkat) and did a DIY on Boeffla

Thanks, that one looks really good. I like that it's possible to select kernels at install time. Also a great selection of pre-installed apps.
I've since installed LiquidSmooth, but will keep this one firmly in mind!!
If you are looking for another AOSP rom, try C-rom, stable and has a ton of customization
Just wondering, what version of liquidsmooth are you using?

I bumped into C-ROM looking for a ROM wife's i9000. It looked quite impressive, but I found that updating her kennel did the trick, so didn't try it. I prefer AOSP over TouchWiz, I'll keep one in mind, thanks.
I'm on LS KK 3.1 stable, with self-installed Boeffla kernel. I'm loving it.
please Which boeffla for liquid 3.1 for my i9305,thanx
Sent from my GT-P5110 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

C-rom is awesome! Tons of customization and really stable. Sadly it has not been updated in awhile.
I was running liquid smooth 3.2 nightly(currently on carbon ROM). Btw are you using the CyanogenMod or omni boeffla kernel?

if you like the basic CM functionalities.
Regardless of that, testing multiple ROMs is recommended as that will give you a clearer outlook on what's better.

[email protected] :
thank you i will install that rom after i buy a new sd card in the next few days, bcuz now i have only 1gig sd card, and that rom forces you to have a big sd card, beceause it uses sd card as internal as a new feature , and i don't like that feature

[Q] Rock Stable 5.1.x ROM for MI3?

Hi Guys,
I have been using diff. of ROMS lately but havent found the right one for me. So instead of trying all ROMS(all latest builds) I would like to have your opinion/findings on what is the most stable 5.1x ROM for our beloved MI3. Below is the list of ROMS I have tried that i have trouble with. But i still thank the developers for keeping ROM development for our device alive!
IVAN ROM - Good Battery but having trouble with performance, especially with playing HD videos (it hangs mostly and noticeable lag).CM Cancro 06/11 - Fast ROM with good customization, but have few quirks like camera sometimes has problem or with SOD.HD ROM - Looks really good and very customizable, but has also trouble with performance with HD playback
Please feel free to recommend your daily ROM driver. Thank you in advance for your post. I will appreciate it.
currently i'm on RR's latest build with latest stuxnet+ kernel and the combination is rock stable , battery efficient , lagfree and above all SOD free
Paranoid ROM with phantom kernel...Good for daily driver and battery life is good.
only had this phone a couple of weeks - first steps: repartition, install TWRP and try out some ROMs.
Have settled on PA - I prefer themes to Layers - very stable, no in-call issues or device going unresponsive.
PAC rom latest version..
All SOD and network bug free.
RR has network bug.. I and many users reported. . also same bug in recent CM commit involved roms.
PAC, CM-Cancro, Tesla rom, OctoOS,RR

Best stable and feature rich roms

Hi everyone, I'm wondering what is the best rom available for the Nexus 6 that is very stable and full of features? I have no preferences I'd just like to know what rom is the best rom out there that fits the bill. If you use a custom kernel by all means list that as well. If you can provide links to the Roms and or kernels that'd be great. Thanks everyone
Pure Nexus 6.0.1 best stable ROM, based on stock and full of features. Flying well with elite kernel
Take a look at my signature :good:
lets move this here on Q&A
I'm sure you mean well however this question can be viewed negatively by the community. There's no "best" rom. Best means it fits all your needs.
For me best means stable yet lots of features. For others best means stock with one or 2 things added.
Determine what you want first then go from there. Some stable feature filled ROMs are Chroma, pure Nexus and Dirty Unicorns. Those are good starts. Elemental X kernel and Elite kernel have been good for me as well. Lean kernel was good as well but it has not been updated in a very long time.
The most feature packed ROM is probably Resurrection Remix hands down, stability is debatable but is usually stable
Thanks everyone for the replies. I'll have to give these a try
Dirty unicorns all day everyday.
I've been running Dirty Unicorns for almost 24hrs now and really like it. Thanks again everyone for the list of Roms and Kernels
+1 Resurrection Remix Neo all day! and I've tried them all.

Need help choosing a rom.

Hi guys I need some advices to choose a great rom for my s4 active, I know we have nougat and it's great but am not having the same performance with heavy games like the stock lollipop.

Well, actually LOS/based ROMs are more debloated than TouchWiz based ROMs, so performances are better. Anyway...
LineageOS: stability
Resurrection Remix: customizations
MIUI: beautiful, maybe some bugs though.
Check them out in OUR WEBSITE

I want any of those roms for daily use but i make some test with 3dmark and nougat and marshmallow have less performance than TouchWiz on 3d graphics, i didn't tested the newer releases but I'll give a try.
