Is the european box version different from the ones sold that were released before because my version did not have a micro-hdmi cable at all and when i looked up some hands_on umboxing vod the dude was pulling out a cable aswell...

The review boxes did have it, cause of reviewing the HDMI power of the phone
The Danish version from 3 INCLUDES a 2m HDMI. The Swedish version should also be shipped with the cable

Here's hoping for the UK version to have it too then - I can't see any reason why it shouldn't. 11 days and counting...

recieved it yesterday in the Netherlands. No HDMI cable present. Friend of mine bought it on tuesday in a shop and that also didn't have an HDMI cable. Though his box stated android 2.3 it contained 2.2.2.
So maybe LG took the cable out to reduce the price?
My danish version of the phone also had the 2m HDMI cable included
Just picked up a 3m one myself in NL.
I would have to lean a long way forward on my sofa to use a 2m cable so in some respects I'm glad I got to choose... although I would have sat on the floor with a 1m cable if it came free with the phone!
And I have a front HDMI port on my receiver, even 3m would not work for me if the port was behind my screen or receiver I think!
Danish version from CallMe also has the cable.
Got mine yesterday from Telenor in Denmark which also came with the cable supplied. Not that I have a HDMI compliant tv anyway

Got mine from KPN (Netherlands) yesterday, but no HDMI cable. I ordered one from OnlineKabelShop.nl (CABLE-5506-1.0). €8,99 plus shipping.
I think we've pretty much cleared up that the Scandinavian package includes HDMI and the Dutch does not.
Mine had the 2m HDMI cable with it, I'm in Sweden.

German version doesn't have a cable with it, too. So I ordered a HDMI cable before I got my P990. But I'm a dump. I ordered an mini-hdmi to hdmi cable...now I have to wait for the micro-hemi to mini-hdmi-adapter from china
Hi a friend of mine gave me his htc hd7 phone (tmob) because he changed to att. The thing is he said he lost the usb cable and only has a wall charger to charge his phone.
so now i have to buy a usb cable online but I'm not sure which to buy. There are a few I've seen on amazon but are not oem. Hopefully I dont have to spend any more than $15 max... Can anyone post links to where I can buy a a oem cable or at least a stable usb cable for my hd7?

It will work but its not ideal to charge/connect a mobile phone.

Any reason you can say why it is not ideal to use USB cable to power a phone ?
I have been using USB cable most of the time to charge my phone from laptop. I was under the impression that slow charge is always good for batteries.

I believe it would be because he has read the product description. It doesn't state that it shouldn't be used for charging, but just to make sure that your device can take the amperage of the cable. This cable is specified for use with Continually connecting devices (eg printers, HDD etc), and not for charging. The Link below can be purchased in a 2m Length (slightly longer).

I have been using the kindle one since i bought my note. And it is still going
strong. Apart from the ics brick bug that got repaired by warranty.
Also by the time it really starts to show that your battery is spoilt. Your plan
with whatever telco should have expired and you are entitled to a cheaper phone

I had been searching for a long time for a OTG cable for nexus 7 from ebay.in. So far i cant confirm any of the products like OTG cable for Note, S2 will work for N7. If you happened to be living in india, have a nexus 7 and bought an OTG cable from ebay.in and it worked for you, then please give me the link to that item and i can buy it.
If it works on Samsung it will work on your N7.
Have you tried it? Whats with all the "Not supported OTG cables" on XDA
I've bought 3 otg cables (different plug angles), all marked as 'for Samsung' and all work fine on my N7.
I just saw these two USB OTG cables on ebay, thought I'd share it and see if anyone have tried it.

it's not the same, these are more like adapter, the OTG cables on amazon are too long in my opinion
