Soft-bricked my phone, need help - Sprint HTC One (M7)

I was on CM11, and my baseband disappeared, i couldn't get s-off with Firewater neither.
Now i am stuck with no rom, the phone doesn't boot up passed the HTC screen.
I have TWRP installed, but it wouldn't let me install CM11 again, it just FAILS.
I can't find any EXE RUU for my phone, currently on hboot 1.57:

Flash the JB base 4.x ROM and use firewater. Should work perfectly. Thanks to @BD619 for the tip, it's what I used.

Its on the first page. You should be able to flash it like any other ROM. I don't think there's any reason why you can't flash old ROMs.

i wait long enough, it doesn't do anything
but i don't get a message that SU permission is granted on the screen, although no errors what so ever, and the SuperSu is working correctly. it didn't ask me to allow the pc neither. weird.
EDIT:
Ok i seem to be having a problem with SuperSu, it doesn't work, i tried reinstalling it and reinstalling TWRP as well, nothing. you didn't have to reinstall the SUPERSU somehow?

My phone was on 5.03.651.2, rooted.
4. Unlock your bootloader again. <<< mine was unlocked
5. Flash TWRP. <<<< already had TWRP
6. Copy the 4.06.651.4 stock rooted odex rom to your phone. <<< Flashed this through TWRP, all fine.
7. Flash that rom <<< Done.
8. Run Firewater. <<<< firewater did not work. after checking a few things i realized the SuperSU isn't working properly
9. Profit. <<< No
PS. maybe he meant DEODEXED, and not ODEX??

[Q] Return to stock

I'm looking to return my phone to 100% stock purely because I'm not benifiting from being Rooted as some apps i.e Barclays doesn't work. I no longer have the original back up of my phone when I first rooted.
I've tried downloading the EU ROM for my phone and install via the exe file however keep getting a 101 error. My phone is T-Mobile UK and I've tried everything I can think of.
If someone could give me a clear walkthrough of how to restore my phone to stock I'd be very happy.
Thanks.

How long or short do you want the process?
Long version: achieve S-Off, remove tampered, restore nandroid, restore stock recovery, set locked, etc. etc. etc.
Short version: flash your Guru Reset http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_2-24-161-1-zip/
__during installer: select WIPE, unselect ROOT, select "stock recovery", select "stock radio", you will be able to receive official OTAs

[SOLVED] Unable to install new HTC ONE update!

Hey guys! So, I got a pop up on my phone last week for the 4.4.2 update However, I seem to be unable to install it. I get booted into twrp, so I try to install it from there, but it says flash failed. I am completely hopeless with things like this (wasn't me who rooted my phone etc). Any help would be very appreciated and apologies for my stupid question.

post the output of fastboot getvar all minus IMEI/sn
Hi there.
I like fiddling and wanted to build some BLE apps and hence required Android 4.3 or higher. We were seriously slow with the updates here in South Africa and I decided to root and load stock HTC 4.3 and later 4.4. My phone does however want to do OTA updates on 4.4 (even though other M7 users here don't have it yet, only received 4.3 about a month ago, which was when I flashed 4.4). I understand 4.4.2 for the M7 is out and would like to keep with the HTC stock updates. I do however experience your exact same issue and have read previously that I need a stock Recovery.
My question is exactly the same as yours. How do I know which Recovery to download and where do I download it from. Finding ROMs is easy and so is custom Recoveries (like TWRP), but not sure about finding the stock Recovery.
Thanks guys!

The Stock recovery needs to match your current "version-main", so in your case a 3.63.x.x , if you can match all 4 numbers that's best but for sure the first two.

I tried to run fastboot on my mac, but adb devices is giving me attached device but fastboot devices is doing nothing. So getvar is also not working. Did some googling, nothing helped yet. I have Ubuntu in another laptop, will try on that tomorrow.
Also fastboot (in phone) was disabled, do you think that might do something with update not installing?

Nope, your update isn't installing because a folder it's looking for is missing, that folder is data/ preload and it's contents

go here: http://firewater-soff.com/instructions/
and follow the 3rd set of instructions, temp root method, if that fails with the whelp message then use sunshine s-off which will do everything for you. http://theroot.ninja/
or you can use alray's way which is a little more complicated, but would also work.

[Q] Stuck in boot loop after HTC1GURU reset

I wanted to GPE my HTC One m7. Having HBoot 1.57 made things a bit hard. I tried Moonshine, Revone, Firewater and Rumrunner, with no luck.
I decided I would pay for SunShine, but I needed a working system first. The various versions of the aforementioned tools were tested on a variety of roms and versions, which probably made this a real mess.
I ended up using this guide to get back to stock rom with stock recovery. (Apparently I am too noob to post links :-/ Here was a link to HTC1Guru "Reset to Stock for S-On")
It works. However, after applying the hotfix for a new system update, and rebooting, dowloading and installing the new update (4.4.3), I get stuck in a boot loop. My bootloader is unlocked, and I can flash a recovery. Booting up recovery while in this boot loop state gives me the phone with a red triangle warning sign on it.
My phone is S-On, HBoot 1.57, bought in Europe, using the *.*.401.* ROMs.
I've tried installing the stock 4.2.2 ROM twice and then applying update, no success. Any ideas on what I can do to get back to a stock phone, not in a boot loop?
Thanks in advance.

The reason it's bootlooping is because the updates that you are downloading are trying to update your hboot, but because you are already on the latest hboot they are failing.
Could you post your fastboot getvar all please without the imei and serial numbers please.

Ok, first thing is first, you will need twrp 2.6.3.3 recovery on your phone, once that's done, push or sideload the Rom linked below, it's full stock Rom 6.09.401.12 so just one above yours, then flash it like any other Rom.

Your welcome, that's what we're here for :good:

HTC One won't load past boot screen.

Hello,
Today I've been trying to unlock and root my HTC one M7. I was able to unlock the phone, but as I imported the SuperSU file the phone stopped working; I am now able to only load the white power screen, and a black screen is shown after that. I'd appreciate any help, thank you!

You most likely have used an outdated version of supersu. 2.46 is the version you want to use on lollipop (assuming you are on lollipop). Reflash your custom recovery and try to flash Su 2.46 and see if your phone can boot, otherwise you'll have to reflash your rom.

Thanks so much for your reply! I actually am using Su 2.46, but which version of Clockworkmod Recovery should I use?

And sorry, where could I get the AT&T rom? I'm sorry, I'm relatively inexperienced with this.

I've just unbricked the phone, thanks for all your help!
But one question, I've used the stock m7 ROM, am I able to update from that, or do I need to use a different ROM to get the most recent version of HTC Sense?

Your firmware is 7.23.502.1 but you have flashed an old 4.18.502.7 rom. Use the 7.23.502.1 RUU so your firmware and software version match together. Since its an at&t phone, you also need and at&t sim card to receive ota updates.

Thank you so much! Can I download the .exe file released by HTC for that RUU?

Thanks again for all of your help, I couldn't have done this without you! I tried to run HTC's .exe file listed here but for some reason it is unable to install the rom.

And for some reason, my battery seems to be discharging faster than it used to before the different ROM and the root. Does this usually happen?

I tried to install the .exe again; do I need to relock my bootloader to install it? (fastboot oem lock right?)

Yes, if S-ON, bootloader must be locked or re-locked to flash a RUU.
Thanks! And I just flash the unlock code when finished?
