Hi everyone! My nexus one's power button doesn't work, but i use without problems for a long time, because i installed a ROM for trackball wake and turn on quit the batery for many times, so any problem.. Now the problem is that i need enter to bootloder for install a new ROM, because I wipe all data! But is impossible without the power button key, i try everthing! What can do? Thanks!!
Do you have USB debugging enabled?
In that case - "adb reboot recovery" will reboot you into recovery without the need to get into bootloader.
In case you don't, but you have unlocked bootloader - you can download the recovery image to your HD, rename it to recovery.img and just execute "fastboot boot recovery.img".

How do this? If my phone, power button malfuntion, and can´t enter to bootloder.. Thanks
Pull the battery, and hold the trackball while re-inserting the battery. That will get you to the bootloader fastboot screen (keep trying, it may not work the first time).
Once in bootloader, hook up to your pc, and use fastboot from the pc to unlock the bootloader (fastboot oem unlock), then use top boot into recovery (fastboot boot recovery.img). You will need a recovery.img file in your sdk tools folder...
Recovery uses trackball for navigation...

Ur god men!!! But have the same problem, need power button key to continue the process..
Where are you stuck?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
In the fastboot oem unlock, "press the volume up/down to select yes or no. Then press the power button to continue."
Sorry dude, it's that long since I'd done this, I'd forgotten about that...
Not sure what your options are now...
Have you tried passimg to get a working system?

MMMM, no.. Can I, install a recovery or flash my phone without unlock the bootloder? Or get root? Thanks!
Yes!

thanks for the reply
The 4.2.2 isnt android HD 10.0 update does not support Sprint as of yet. They mention it in the thread. Not to mention the fact that it is mentioned when you go through the aroma installer and the fact that International is the only option in the aroma installer.
You may have totally bricked your ****.

It's almost impossible to brick your phone unless you have S-OFF which I doubt that you do. Don't panic (yet)!
This thread has just about everything you need to get it fix. You rooted your phone so you probably already have adb and HTC Drivers installed on your computer, if not then get them installed.
You'll need to get a copy of TWRP recovery too and place it in the ./platform-tools/ directory. Also place a copy of a ROM.zip of your choice in the same ./platform-tools/ directory.
Now let's try to reinstall the recovery:
1. If you phone is already powered off. Press & hold volume down + power button for a few seconds until you see a menu on the phone screen. Use volume down button to select Fastboot then press power button to select it. Connect phone to usb cable now.
2. On your computer, browse to ./platform-tools, press the Shift key and then right-click on that folder and select "Open command window here"
3. In the command window, type: fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.0-m7wls.img then hit Enter
4. Still in the same command window, type: fastboot reboot-bootloader then hit Enter. You'll now see the bootloader menu on the phone. Press power button to select Bootloader, then volume-down key to highlight Recovery and press power button again to boot back into Recovery. Your phone should now be in TWRP recovery and you can proceed to reflash a ROM if you sdcard did not get wiped. If your sdcard is empty, continue from Step 5 to sideload a ROM
5. In TWRP recovery, tap Advanced, tap ADB Sideload, the swipe enable it
6. Back in the command windows, type: adb sideload NameOfROM.zip then hit Enter. Wait a few minutes and reboot the phone when prompted. You should be back in business now.
If you need more help, feel free to PM me.
Cheers

Sprint hasn't released a kernel for 4.2.2 yet, so the newest android revolution won't work on our phones. I highly recommend downloading and using the "Sprint RUU" that's linked in the android development forum, and that will bring everything back to the beginning for you. From there you can re unlock and root, and the flash ViperRom or whatever... and trust me, you're phone isn't bricked.

Like I said, you have to run the RUU. You don't need to be able to put anything on your device, you download RUU to your computer, plug in your phone, and use Hasoons all in one kit to relock your phone, then run the RUU. After that it will be like factory new and you can reunlock and add whatever rom you want. I had an identical problem, this was the only fix for me.

Thank you for the TWRP with other device, but new to HTC butterfly S.
Encounter some problem with data.ext.win and the win000 file with special permission Set UID and Set CID, which not allow me to copy to my PC or even using TWRP file manger to copy to external_sd card.
Also, does not allow me to backup to external_sd.
Please advise if i did something wrong.

Sorry. Posted this question in the wrong section.
Basically wanna copy out the phone's TWRP backup folder to PC to save up the stock unroot version.
And was not able to do that due to Set UID and CID in permission, something with the kernel security.

Per TWRP Page ( http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/171 )
Download: http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m7wls/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-m7wls.img and copy it to the folder that you have fastboot.exe located.
Download the above file into your platform-tools dir. Turn off your device. Turn on the device and keep holding volume down until a menu shows up. Select fastboot from the menu list. so you don't have recovery access?
Press both volume down and power untill the phone completely shuts off. Don't let go till its off. Then press volume down and power and as soon as you see the LG logo let go then press power button again taking you to the reset screen. Follow through to factory reset to get you to twrp or whichever recovery you put it on.

Have you try to get into TWRP or CWM recovery via hard buttons? 1) From that fastboot screen, press power and vol. down together and hold for 8 seconds until it reboots by itself and then flash off, 2) press power and vol. down together until LG logo turns on, 3) Let go of both buttons briefly (1/2 second), push both buttons together again for 1 second, only to let go of the volume down button, 4) This should bring up a white Factory Reset screen, 5) push Power button 3 times to enter TWRP or CWM recovery (hopefully you can restore a saved rom--if not download a rom (and all support files like Gapps if needed on AOSP roms) via PC on USB-OTG flash drive (buy one if you don't have one as they're so convenient, USB-OTG cable is like $2 on Epay to use your existing flash drives, or 32GB Kingston micro-Duo OTG flash drive is $15), then use File Manager of TWRP to copy the rom over to your "SD card" and then to flash them.:good:
Edit: Damn, late to the party again
If you can't boot to recovery to flash an other ROM for your variant, follow this guide, it should work.
Read it twice before you do anything!

kudos to @cms88168 for this fix, i will use his guide but will make some tweaks.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477595
Make sure to download your versions aboot, boot, dbi, laf, misc, modem, persist, recovery, rpm, sbl1, and tz images here
and download his 7Z file (from here: click! | password: cms88168) and place all of the images into the extracted file, replacing his laf.img with yours.
next you want to hold shift and right click and open command prompt in the fastboot folder.
make sure your phone is connected and is in fastboot mode.
next we will be erasing and flashing all of the images back. do this one line at a time obviously.
Code:
fastboot erase aboot
fastboot flash aboot aboot.img
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase dbi
fastboot flash dbi dbi.img
fastboot erase laf
fastboot flash laf laf.img
fastboot erase misc
fastboot flash misc misc.img
fastboot erase modem
fastboot flash modem modem.img
fastboot erase persist
fastboot flash persist persist.img
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase rpm
fastboot flash rpm rpm.img
fastboot erase sbl1
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.img
fastboot erase tz
fastboot flash tz tz.img
fastboot reboot
you should then reboot and turn your phone off. Next plug it in holding the volume+ button and boot into download mode (it should work now) if not you might not have downloaded the right versions for your phone or something else is completely wrong and i dont know how to fix it.
Next you should revert to stock using this guide.

Thanks for all the replys.. I am not a noon when it comes to Roms and recovery and all.. I can get into twrp still but the thing is all my data is gone onece I flashed the wrong ROM so all my backups and everything when I try to go into download mode it goes straight back to that fast boot screen in the pic so I can't go back to stock with the lg flash tools

If you can still get into TWRP you should be able to adb push another ROM and anything else you need to flash while in recovery.

Is there anyway you can tell me how to do that or the things I would need to download?

If you don't already have the Android SDK installed on your PC you will need to install and set that up first. It can be found here:
https://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html?hl=i
Next make sure you have the proper drivers for your phone installed on your computer. They can be found here:
http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-VS980
Open up a terminal and plug your phone into your computer while it's in recovery mode and try running the adb devices command. If no devices are listed (which they weren't for me the first time), open up Device Manager (assuming you are on Windows) and find your device. Right click on it and select "Update driver software" then "Browse my computer for driver software" then "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer." Now, you should be able to select the driver for your phone. I selected the "ADB Sooner Interface" and it works for me. After running the adb kill-server and then adb devices command your device should be listed. Next all you have to do adb push the ROM plus any other files you want to flash.
If you need any more help, feel free to PM me and I'll do my best.
