Well the title explains it all. I've used this site before and they offer the cheapest price cases and accessories I've ever seen. Free shipping is for almost every item shipped to the USA, but I would pay extra for faster shipping because the free shipping takes about a month to get haha. Other than that, it's a great site for the same accessories you see being sold at the local mall cart for 10 times the price.

Most of this stuff is available on ebay for slightly cheaper.
Given the lead time on most of these items, it looks like what this site is doing is purchasing this stuff from various ebay retailers, marking it up, and then shipping it to you (probably with another markup on shipping).
If you don't need expedited shipping, your better off going directly through ebay.

assuming the prices on ebay are cheaper.. well, at least they put them all in one place. so we have an idea of what's available.. it's like a single show room for us then to shop on ebay.
For the items I'm finding the prices are either the same or cheaper on this site. Ebay has some cheaper items also, like screen protectors or some cases. But this site has almost everything that's available for the note 2 at the cheapest prices I've seen.
I am yet to find a item that's on this site which is cheaper on ebay.com.
Free shipping is for almost every item shipped to the USA

I think free shipping is to everywhere. I live in India and placed a order for 4 small items yesterday.
Wow lots of cases for cheap!
I've been searching a lot for casings and stuff and i have to agree that this site is cheap and the shipping is just as cheap for DHL. I'm buying a total of 7 items
Good recommendation mazdamiata210......now i hope i actually get all my stuff :fingers-crossed:
The selection is great..but for people in the US..free shipping takes up to a month...they always get you on the shipping

I used to order from tvc-mall/case-parts but their high shipping cost drove me away. Now I'm sticking with Deal Extreme www.dx.com as my new favorite source for any Note 2 accessories or gadgets in general, also very cheap prices, free us shipping, decent quality, and often something more unique in comparison to other HK retailers. And now my wife discovered it too, she is ordering make-up stuff from there lol!!!
I'll stick to Amazon as I am a prime member.
Fancy pants Note ||
Have you received an order yet? Looks kinda risky seeing they have 80000 products.

With any HK retailer their on-line catalog doesn't necessary reflect what they actually have in stock. Often they have to go to their supplier, that's why you have to be careful with a wording on these sites when it says "available" or "ships" in 2-3 days or 5-7 days, which means this particular item is not in stock and it will take them a few days to get it and ship it out to you. Overall, it's always a risk taking because pictures can look better than actual product, and 100% of a time brand name products are actually knock offs. Doesn't mean those are bad knock offs. With Defender case or some of the Beats headphones you can actually get a decent quality. But it always a risk.
I've ordered numerous cases from there before without a problem. Just be sure to read what the title says. I ordered a green case and the picture showed it being a transparent green but when I got it, it was a solid puke green color... But it was my mistake for not reading the description fully. Other than that I've had no problems and continue to shop there all the time.
As you might have seen me crawling around this forum, I'm seriously thinking about buying the z. As for credit check issues I can't get a contract so I'm going to buy it sim free.
Tbh it's my first time buying a sim free phone. So it would be nice if someone could give me some advice on where to get the device. I live in the UK (Nottingham) btw.
I've been thinking about buying it on eBay, has anyone bought it that way? Any risks or advice you can give me if I buy it that way.
Thanks in advance.

Ebay is ok but make sure it's a reputable seller and it's not imported (to avoid warranty issues)
Ideally buy the device unlocked - if you can.
Retailer wise, Expansys (owned by Dragon Peter Jones and based in Marlow, Bucks.) is a good retailer but at full retail the device is £519 - ebay 'unwanted upgrades' go for £370 or so.
I've just bought mine from someone local to me, and insisted on seeing it working with my choice of network. As it happens, he couldn't show this due to a handset fault so i've made him RMA the phone to Sony before i send any money. Just be careful if you're new to eBay.
Tesco Mobile offer the XZ so you can goto a Tesco Extra store to see one in person to have a play before buying - if needed.
Good luck and just make sure you're confident with the sellers reputation on ebay before buying

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2117909
I see, is there any risk with sealed units on ebay? I'm orange pay as you go.
Also if I get it from someone as an unwanted upgrade from Orange is there a high risk that the company blocks the device if he doesn't pay the contract or is it quite dangerous for someone to do that? Also what happens to the warranty when I buy it like this do I need anything from the seller in case I need to rma?
Thanks

If you worry about all of those things then I'd recommend buying it from a real shop.
But most of the times when you buy it from someone with a very high rating, you won't have any trouble/problems, not even when it comes to warranty. If the phone breaks the chance is very big that you have to pay either way, it won't matter if you bought it from a shop or a reseller.
You are right, so now the thing is to pick the right seller. So I should pick people with 500+ ratting then?
edit: Also you said something about the phone not being imported? so should I ask the seller about that? It needs to be from the UK or europe?

Uhm I don't think that matters.
I'm not sure which version you need in the UK, I think C6603, as long as the version is ok, there shouldn't be a problem where it from since it's an international phone.
People from the states also buy the phone imported because it's not being sold in North America (Not by carrier that is)
And no 500 rating is way to low imo.
This is a good rating
Link
(Not saying that you should buy that one, but just giving an example of a good rating.)
P.S. Please remember that when importing a phone you will have to pay VAT once your package has arrived.
I think you had to pay VAT when the device is from beyond Europe, but not when it's being send from another European country (Could be wrong on this one though).

Don't limit yourself to Ebay. I am selling a XZ on Gumtree because there are no charges and you get to deal with the person face to face. I am sure there are lots of things to be wary of. I don't buy or sell many things so I am not aware of all the pitfalls, though I am sure there are some.
Get more advice from other people if you are thinking of buying from Gumtree, but from what I have seen, (through watching my son-in-law), you show the buyer the item, the buyer gets to see it first hand, and they decide whether to hand over pound notes for it. If the seller seems genuine and the phone is as described, fair enough. If you don't feel right go with your instincts and run.
I personally am very wary of Ebay, but lets be honest, if everyone had a bad experience it wouldn't still exist.
phones 4u are cheap and unlocked
Dont buy it.. Screen is ugly and gets alot of dust also the buttons are very annoying. You have to remove the protectors each time to connect to power and headphone..:good:
Phone is amazing buttons are fine and use the dock and bluetooth then no need to remove flaps

I bought mine from 3 mobile for £450 and they unlocked it for £15 although I do not believe they charged me lol.
I wouldn't buy a phone anywhere but a real shop to be fair, although the Z seems pretty robust and I doubt there will be too much to worry about regarding repairing it.

Ebay are biased towards the buyer. If you get no refund from a seller within 14 days, ebay will give you your money back due to distance selling regulations.
Only issue i've encountered with the phone unlocked, is that with every wipe of the phone with SEUS , I have to add the orange APN for internet access. That's easy though.

I am not sure about the shipping cost because I don't know how big/heavy the Zero Lemon will be. But I am willing to pay the shipping. We can do it without going through eBay, just paypal. I'll pay you paypal fee too plus time and effort.
PS.
Are there any other Australians here? Maybe we can bulk buy and divide the shipping cost.

OK, we have 5 orders now. That is enough for the now, don't want to put too many as it would be too risky.
I want to make this as easy as possible for the American XDA member who will be kind enough to help us by sorting out as much as possible the financial and shipping business within Australia.
So here is what I think we should do.
at the moment $1AUD = 1.03 USD, so lets assume it is equal to make it everything easy.
Step 1. Have all the Australians buyers deposit money (bank transfer) payment which include Zero Lemon plus the shipping cost from the States and monetary incentive for the American XDA member to me. Those who live outside Sydney should pay additional $8AUD so that I can post the battery to you after it arrives from the States, otherwise you can pick it up from my Parramatta residence if you live close by.
Step 2. I will then transfer the total amount to the American XDA member.
Step 3. the American XDA member will order the batteries off Amazon and ship the batteries to my address in Sydney.
Step 4. I will then post out the batteries for the rest of the Aussies that live in other Australian citise or a organise local pick after I receive them.
So this way, the American XDA only have to deal with one person and one payment, which is me and I will deal with the fellow Aussies.
So all we need now is that American XDA member volunteer, I personally prefer a MOD or a Dev member or established XDA member, because the amount of money that will be involved, Thanks.
Im in canada and use comgateway.com its pricey for one person but if theres a few being ordered should be ok. Plus theyll give you a quote up front now
Sent from my SGH-T889V using xda premium
One thing y'all should be aware of is that UPS, Fedex and such have regulations against shipping batteries. You need a bunch of paperwork including MSDS from the manufacturer. I couldn't ship a HD2 battery to my dad in another country because of all the paperwork I would have had to go through. It's much easier for the manufacturer to do it because they already have the paperwork on file.
Now, I'm sure you'd be fine just mailing it and not telling them it's a cell phone battery since people get on planes with cell phones everyday. But they could easily seize it and penalize you if they wanted if they found out.

Well done Google for looking after previous customers. I am waiting for the white to hit the UK store can't wait. No free bumper currently on the UK store for the black product so I guess the store may see the update next week.

Just called them and they refuse to send me one since I purchased a black phone. Clearly in their FAQ and shows you get a black bumper free if you bought a black phone, or a white one, if you purchased the white version. I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and I was transferred, rudely told the same thing. I explained that if I could just get a simple $20 refund, it'd be so much more easier on both ends than for us to have to ship items back and forth to one another.
They are offering me the option to return the phone and bumper I purchased just 3 days ago, minus shipping costs, and a 15% re-stocking fee. I'll be spending more money to just get a "free bumper" so forget it.
Google's customer service in comparison to amazon's is quite horrible. I can't believe they didn't offer me promotional credit to google play, or something in return for this unfortunate situation. With Amazon, if a situation like this ever occurred, they'd at least give me MP3 credit for a few songs, or extend my prime membership by a month.

I'm in the same boat as you, with the same issue and conclusion you came to. Even though I like the phone, this is thievery on google's part. Also it was rather asinine to not be able to just refund the purchase price of the bumper.
About to engage costumer support to see who the victor is, my device arrived on the 31st so I may be able to pull some bs based on that :cyclops:
Also I don't think they should be giving bumper refunds for any reason, as I see it is either you should get a bumper or not and I think we should.
am i the only one that feels that people are being greedy in this thread by calling Google thieves because they won't give them something for free because they bought something before a promotion started?

I feel kind of screwed out of $20 since I just bought the phone a few days ago and they're not offering me any feasible solution.

No, I agree with you. Certainly it depends on the timing of when the Nexus 4 was bought but, speaking from the perspective of someone who works in customer service, these are the types of calls I hate fielding. Why should a company have to compensate you for something you didn't qualify for? There's a certain point where it becomes entitlement and I hate that.

While I agree to some extent, they need to offer a better solution to those who bought the phone and bumper at the same. My gripe is not with getting the free case but seeing that i bought both i should at least be refunded the price of the bumper. Its was literally a day before the promotion, and they want to charge restocking fees, preposterous. In the end I'm not totally up in arms about it, because both are quality made products, its more of the timing.
Is T-Mobile giving the bumper away too?

Even if I was in the price matching period I wouldn't be complaining. It's only $20 for a bumper case. Go buy one instead of wasting your own and Google's time.

am i the only one that feels that people are being greedy in this thread by calling Google thieves because they won't give them something for free because they bought something before a promotion started?

That's exactly how I'm reading it. Disgraceful to complain about such a third by considering how cheap the Nexus 4 is anyway.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone would be kind and trustworthy enough to buy and ship to the UK a Green Camo S7 Active without contract? It's a major ask and I'd PayPal you first but I don't know where to start as I really want to upgrade my S6 Active to the S7 Active
I think the Green Camo edition looks freaking awesome! Install Nova Launcher + EZ Package Disabler on there coupled with what seems to be an insanely indestructive smartphone seems way too good to pass up and I cannot wait for a second hand one to become available over eBay which could be a very long time away!
Please note, I don't just take anyones word for trust over this large amount money sent over! This is about the only way I'll get one If I am able too lol.
Cheers...
Check Swappa for sellers willing to ship. They use PayPal so you would be covered with their policies.
You should be able to get a new one on eBay soon.
Is the upgrade worth it?
