How much it costs? Because I've bought it on ebay and maybe seller could help me with this until phone was not sent out to me.

only 19,00

If only this process unlocked the bootloader as well.

SIM unlock AT&T(from moto maker)

Hi. I am from Argentina and I bought a Customized Moto X from Moto Maker(AT&T). I have to unlock the phone for use it in my country. The bands are the same so that isn't a problem.
What page is the better for unlock the AT&T Moto X?
Thanks
Just go with the cheapest one you can find on eBay. I think I paid around $4 USD for my code. Most have money back guarantees so you don't lose anything if it doesn't work.

Yeah, that may be true. I have yet to receive a bad code, though, and I've always just done the cheapest listing on eBay for my codes.
Cellunlocker.net used them, only paid 7.99 and got the code in around 2 hours

A second vote for Cellunlocker - did two yesterday @ 8 bucks a piece. Codes came within a couple of hours.

Yeah, mine is unlocked and running on T-Mobile right now. I purchased from ripco-unlocks on eBay. It was only like $5 when I bought it, but they seem to have raised the price to $12 now.

No, but I don't see how that would make any difference. An XT1058 is an XT1058. The unlock code depends on the IMEI and those are all different regardless of whether the phone was the standard store model or a customized MotoMaker one.
Im buying one from T-mobile just to get a custom moto x cellunlocker.net wants $25. Guess i need to look somewhere else
I believie that T-Mobile version is sim unlocked so you don't need to buy any unlock codes.

Worth switching unlocked moto x 1st gen for locked moto x 2nd gen?

I am on verizon and paid a chinese guy for a bootloader unlock code for the first gen Moto X. I love this phone, but i want the 2nd gen Moto X.
I see that there is still no bootloader unlock method for verizon on the new moto x. Is the phone worth the upgrade and losing the unlocked bootloader?
IMO this phone (Motorola 2nd Gen) is the best designed phone on the market. Ask anyone who has one, they love this phone to death however the only flaw (minus the camera because no one whose using their phone camera needs flawless camera specs because if that's the case then they should be using a DSLR in the first place) would be the battery life. If you're like me and know little tweaks using tasker or something similar and are not a power user you'll be fine with about 30% battery left after 8 hours. Even so, if you don't mind carrying a charger, the Motorola Turbo Charger paired with the moto X is the perfect combination. Perfect construction with a solution to the battery and your set.
In regards to the locked bootloader, see if someone will unlock it for you or surf the web for tutorials and see if you can follow along, just make sure the tutorial you use is for Verizon files and ONLY Verizon files.

There currently is absolutely no way to unlock the VZW version bootloader. It has been uncrackable. While I won't say it won't happen, it would be a mistake to purchase based on the assumption that it will be unlocked. Better be prepared for the worst case if you decide to purchase.

hey there is this cool new website to help you check if your phone will work with a different carrier http://www.willmyphonework.net/ and from what I know no you cant unlock that phone or root it but it still might work with T-Mobile I have no idea.
Yes, you can unlock your phone to use it on t-mobile network. I use it with tmobile.
You should pay for this, for me was $13, you just need to install an app. Moto x Unlock.

Believe it or not, lots of people have successfully gotten ATT to unlock their on contract and Next phone simply by requesting it through their online portal. If you are not currently an ATT customer, you select non-ATT Mobility customer.
https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/
If the phone was bought on contract and the line is currently under contract, it is YMMV. Same if it is a Next device. But if the phone is not on contract or purchased with a Next plan, they will definitely unlock it for you.

Also, you can always try an unlock code provider. There are a couple of very reliable services online which will definitely unlock your Moto X.

I appreciate that but I am not getting the option to apply a unlock code to my devices.
I am trying to see if anyone else is having that issue?!
