So i love this beast!! Just got one question
Is your power button as clicky as the volume rocker? Or does it feel soft and "mushy"
Sent from my SM-N910T using XDA Free mobile app
My buttons are nice and clicky, no mushiness here.

It's weird because my note 3's buttons didn't click like the note 4's does...especially the home button...I wish they make it all TOUCH by the S6

Is this possible like on iphone 4?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
I don't know if it will be possible but I think it's awkward because I4 has volume buttons on the other side and you must turn the phone 270°
Is there any aplication for that or no?

My screen got distorted when I apply some weight when I tap the screen, especially on the center left edge. The weight I apply is not that hard (just like mouse clicking) then I see some distortion (like water wave). I know it happens when you press hard on any LCD screen, However, It happens a lot easier on my Xperia Z compared to other phones I used to have.
Anyone got the same problem?
Had this on my last XZ (7th) and on this one (8th). Esp when holding the phone in my right hand pressing power button or volume buttons, it caused pressure where my fingers are holding the handset on the left.

No, mine works fine
Try repairing it under warranty If you have one
Or replace it

Please look at my previous posts. You'll see that I have had many XZ's. Also I'm typing this on an XZ. I'm switching to HTC in 8 days. I'm no fan boy, my last experience with HTC a few years ago, was bad.
Look below.... Sent from my.... Idiot

I have the same issue around the same area. Bottom left side closer to the middle of the screen. Doesn't bother me too much though.

Can anyone advise how to capture a screen shot?.
Thanks

Hold down the volume down button and the power button at the same time
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
Hey got ya covered.. . its kinda tricky but you hold down power button first and than quickly press volume down button. if that doesnt work hold down power button and quickly tap the home button at the bottom (second option has worked for me about 7 times already)
Power and home button.

Actually the volume button works fine. Thats how ive been getting screenshots, holding power and vol down.
Using the volume button actually gives you a nifty preview/quick link in your notification panel as well

So you can do it both ways? That is so weird. why multiple ways to screenshot. BTW screenshots don't work, even with root.

Im stock rooted and both work. I use the volume as it gives me a quick link to open it.

Power and Home button is the only way I can do it, unless I'm missing something.

You have to hold both the power and volume for a second. Im absolutely stock rooted, and Im going to assume the couple of roms out havent taken out the feature, so it should work on everything.

The power+home is much quicker, but like I said, I like the quick link/preview.

He hit it right on the nail. HTC includes both the stick android method for screen shots and they include their own method which most of us use. The sense method is faster but the stock gives u a preview and it appears in the notification bar. Power+vol. Down is the stock and power+home is the sense method. Both should work straight out of the box if not then ur timing is off

Is there a built in app? I'm not rooted yet, so I can't use my app that I used with my rooted evo. Shoot me.

My s3 seems to have a power button problem. The phone boots on and works perfectly. But if I tap the rear of the mack plastic, next to the power button, I get the power menu. Any tips?
Thanks guys.

Dirt around the switch, carefully clean and all should be well... :good:
I removed the power button and cleaned everything out. Nothing worked so far. My power button seems to be very lose. Maybe a replacement?

Obvioisly loose. Its defenitly not intended to pick the power button out unless you screwed the cover away and void varranty.
The button will probably soon be gone for ever.
It sound like the feathery effect is gone. In the near future you have to send it in

I was chatting with a friend of mine who had the same problem, he removed the switch then use a little piece of double sided sellotape to bulk out the switch.
He then put it back together and it has been running for four months with no issues :fingers-crossed:
Hope you could fix it..
