Not all LG G2s can wireless charge. Supported mostly on Verizon G2s If I recall. Any Qi compatible charger would work.

I have D802 Italian....
I have read in the specs of the 802, that it is compatible with standardi qi wireless....but i have some doubt....
Hi all,
I would like to know if anyone knows if there is a wireless charger compatible with the LG2 D802, please ?
I saw in the net this things but i don't know if i need to add this to my phone for the wireless charger...
Best regards.
+1 any news please ? Thank
Yes that micro usb QI charger will work with the G2. It sticks onto the back of the phone, or you may fit it between the phone and a case.
The charge will be between 0.4mah and 1mah which is slower then using the cable and plug supplied by LG,
Well, thank you for the advice.
But can you tell me what is the best solution for an Qi wireless charger for the LG2 d802, please ?
Best regards.

Are you asking if your phone supports wireless charging or what charger to use? If it's already wireless capable, any QI charger will work. If it's not you'll need to add a module like the one you posted and use it with any QI charger you want. There's separate threads on chargers already open, take a look at them for suggestions.

I believe ONLY the VS980 Verizon model has Qi Charging. I have a Verizon model and charge off of the Nokia Charger from post 2, a Samsung S4 Qi Charger plate, and a cheap $10 Qi Chinese brand Qi plate. All work differently but work.
If you have another version of the LG G2 (non-Verizon) then you have to use the Universal Receiver Module from post #5. Several people have used it and confirmed it works.
Qi Wireless Charging is always slower then a fast charge USB charge. It is Faster then a slow standard 5v 500mAh charge though.
The Universal Receiver Module has a thickness that won't allow the super ultra thin feather cases to work. You'll need a TPU case or other to cover it up. The Nokia Qi Chargers are my favorite. They have a barrel plug for power, which sucks, but they have a very awesome placement sensors. Most Qi Chargers require placing the phone in a specific spot before it will sync up. The Nokia has several Qi transmitters in it so it is pretty easy to just drop and go.
AT&T Wireless had those Nokia chargers on sale for $5. I bought 2 (Office and Work). I use my Samsung microUSB Charging plate for travel.
Hi, thank you for yours replies !
At the moment I'm not at home so I will check your links when I comeback. But I see if I put the universal receiver module into my phone then I can't plug anymore my usb cable. I said that because if I want to switch from my normal usb charger and the universal module, I must need to unplug the universal receiver module, no ? Or it's exist an universal receiver with a usb plug integrated ?
For your info I have the QuickWindow case for the LG2. I hope it's compatible...
Thank you for your advices !
Best regards.
wireless charging pad for Verizon LG G2 VS980
I just received this wireless charging pad and it actually works! Only $3.48 USD with free shipping!!!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281513176459
It doesn't come with AC adapter, only microUSB cable. It also doesn't seem to work with fast 2 amp AC adapters. I had to use an old 1A adapter. It doesn't affect speed since wireless is 1A maximum anyway. Just make sure have an old 1A adapter before you buy.

I have 3 of the Qi wireless TYLT chargers. They are great - they sit at a perfect angle to put on your nightstand or desk. They were pricey, but I got a 50% off coupon a while back and have 2 for our nightstands (husband and wife) and 1 for me at the office.
Thanks!

I can confirm that the Verizon one linked above me does activate quick charge. I haven't used it other than testing but it did get the same notification I get with the turbo charger.
The Verizon car charger works. I have it and works just as good, if not better, than the turbo wall charger. Loving it.

I just bought this one below...
Here's a dual port Turbo car charger. Will work on non-turbo charge devices too. Won't burn them out. Downgrades automatically. They all do.
Extsud® Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 USB Intelligent Car Charger With Two USB Turbo Ports (36W)
$15.99
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XJ7OTS0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
This charger seems to be sold under different brand names, like Extsud, Ivoler. Seems to be the same device, so this is the least expensive price I found. Here's the Ivoler below, a few dollars more, but seems to be the same thing -- except it comes with a USB cable. I have plenty of those already!
iVoler Adaptive Fast Qualcomm Dual Port Car Charger (with cable)
$18.97
http://www.amazon.com/Charger-iVole...ords=Qualcomm®+Quick+Charge+2.0+car+dual+port
Be careful! Some "dual port" car chargers have only ONE Turbo (Qualcomm 2.0) port, and the other is a regular port. Why? 2.0 technology is backwards compatible, will not hurt non-2.0 devices. So, silly for a dual port car charger being advertised as "2.0" to have only one actual 2.0 port in many cases. Read the descriptions carefully!
Both these (same device under two different brand names) does have TWO Turbo (Qualcomm 2.0) ports!
Motorola TurboPower Car Charger
I prefer the slim profile car chargers. Motorola just released one for $30...charger and cable...
I'd post links and photo but forum rules require >10 posts.
Someone tested this?

I guess I don't understand why you bought a dual port charger inferior to the one below and more expensive.
I specifically hate the dual port chargers that only come with one Quick Charge port. That makes NO sense. Both ports should be Quick Charge or nothing.
The one below has TWO Quick Charge ports, so no need to much around trying to figure out which is which. And the ports safely downgrade if it's not a Quick Charge device. You can charge a simple flip phone if you want.
And it costs less money.
Soon, all devices will be Quick Charge so you will need both to be Quick Charge anyway... When my wife rides in the car we both charge our Quark phones.
But again, if you plug a non-Quick Charge device into a Quick Charge port, it still charges just fine. So, no need to EVER buy a non-Quick Charge charger again.

Hi guys, as we all know, the galaxy note 5 support fast charge aka qualcomm quick charge 2.0 technology, once you use the qc2.0 charger, you won't get back to the regular charger. It can charge your phone from 0%-60% in 30mins. Samsung give us the qc2.0 wall charger, however, if you are looking for some car charger which also support qc2.0, here is my recommend.
http://www.tronsmart.com/products/tronsmart-quick-charge-2.0-4-ports-rapid-car-charger
I find a review for note 5 and this car charger, check it here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWwcobpbskk
Please note, only one port (blue port) support quick charge 2.0 for our note 5, the other 3 port can support up to 2.4A, which is enough for all of our electronics, including iPad.
The tronsmart chargers are certified by qualcomm, see the list here:

and they are also qualcomm featured qc2.0 accessory brand, see the screenshot here:

dual port car charger , which both port support quick charge 2.0, total 36W.
http://www.tronsmart.com/products/tronsmart-cc2f-quick-charge-2.0-and-voltlq-technology-two-in-one-car-charger
if you have two device which support qc2.0, then this is the accessories you are looking for.
three port car charger, which 2 port support up to 2.4A current, and 1 port qc2.0.

Yes, the other three port are all supporting 2.4A, the total watt for this charger is 54w , the most powerful car charger i have ever seen, and yes, the certification is important, because we don't want to risk our car with low quality car chargers.

What cable do you use with it. None of the "Samsung" cables on Amazon seem to be "genuine" and mostly get bad reviews.
Here is the latest car charger I received. As with the others I have reviewed this car charger supports QC 2.0 in both ports. I used it on a 3 hour trip. The charger kept my phone topped off even while using the GPS Navigation and listening to pandora. Check it out! Its 16 dollars.

Is it safe to charge my note 5 with this power bank ?? And which port should I use ?? 2.4A is safe for my battery ?? Or it will be damaged ??
I use the vodool car charger, it works great for me, and the most important is with good price, I recommend it.
I bought a Nexus 5x from the USA, but I live in the UK. I will therefore need to replace the wall charger when it arrives.
For my old Nexus 5 I use an iPad charger. This is fast, and adaptable, since I travel a lot, I can switch the figure of 8 input on the iPad charger to whatever country I am in, and it allows me to carry only one charger and switch between Nexus and iPad charging.
I realise that the old iPad charger will be quite slow to charge my new nexus 5x. I would like a replacement that is at least as dependable as my iPad charger, but with the usb-c standard. The perfect charger would have swappable plugs, like the iPad, with a usb-c AND standard usb 2/3 ports.
Any ideas?
Nobody found an alternative to this yet? Is it at least possible to buy a standard, genuine, nexus 5x charger with a uk plug?
Can't you just use an outlet adapter?
Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I now have my US plug and a clumsy US->UK adapter. Not the perfect solution:

I assume that a host of USB-C plugs will come out in the next few months. I am still craving that Apple charger functionality.
I ordered Googles charger, its compact and has a long/slim cable. Recommended!
I have the eu-plug but it should be available in UK model...
I only bought and adapter
Well, I had a Moto X 2014 with quick charger and I lost it, so my replacement was the 5X. In order to keep my previous chargers I bought a micro usb -> Usb C adapter. It's works pretty well for both charging and data transfer and isn't that expensive and you can still use your previous charger.

Remember that the OEM charger has an output of 3.0A so you might use a big charger, like the one of an IPAD or S6.

From what I understand though, the old USB formats are not capable of delivering 3.0A. It has to be USB-C. Adapters will turn your charge to 2.5A maximum.
I might be wrong, but have read a few things that suggest this. With my official Google charger I can charge my Nexus 5x fully in about 30 minutes.

I believe you are right, it might not charge at 3.0 A, but it did a good job with my 2.4A Aukey charger. I didn't measure the charging time, but it's aceptable. I can run some tests if your are still interest.

I eventually went for the official Google wired charger. My multi-function figure of 8 USB-c charger dreams will have to wait.
You can just get a USB C adapter that will let you use your old phone cables - http://www.amazon.com/TechMatte-Con...&qid=1452787474&sr=8-3&keywords=usb+c+adapter

No. This will only charge at old USB ampage (and therefore speed).
I'm curious if anyone has tried these likely fake 5V/3A chargers from ebay?
e.g. Genuine 5V/3A Fast Charger AC Wall Adapter Type C Cable F LG Nexus 5X H791 H790

That looks great except.... I live in the UK.
My perfect charger would be something like this, but with a modular plug - like the Apple chargers - with a figure of 8 input compatible with these.

this one's pretty good (just don't charge 3 devices at once)
search for Choetech on Amazon UK
I'm in the same/similar boat as I've got a nexus 5x with the wrong country's charger-type - With the little adapter-things that just change the plug on the older micro-USB cables, is there a danger of cheap ones such as this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Portable-Mi...333069?hash=item2ca48e09cd:g:LDgAAOSwFGNWSUtf damaging the charger into which it is plugged, or worse yet the actual phone? What would be the cheapest *safe* cable which would charge the nexus 5x off any standard USB A port (ie. older chargers or a computer) (even at slower speed) as I have a lot of older chargers around and like to keep them at a few places so getting one cable is the best way to do this.

I already own an Anker multi port charger, and have just bought the new one which has 1 USB C port and 4 standard USB ports with a total out put of 40W. The USB C port is rated at 3A and charges my 5x quickly. The other ports are 2.4A maximum and I have had no problems charging several devices simultaneously, Its a little smaller than a cigarette packet and has the figure 8 socket for change of power lead when travelling.
Thoroughly recommended

*Disclaimer*.....the S7 does not support Quick Charge 3.0. It only supports 2.0 but I may be picking up the G5 or HTC 10 which does support it.
I needed a new/extra charger so I figured I'd get something that supports the latest Quick Charge technology.
The charger itself feels well made. The prongs fold in for traveling purposes and it doesn't block the outlet/outlets sitting next to it. In regards to noise this charger makes none of it. Those who have used cheap chargers know the humming/buzzing noise I'm referring to. It's extremely annoying.
Now onto the part that really matters. I haven't had the time to compare this charger to the stock Samsung charger in regards to really putting them through the paces but early results look promising for the Anker.
I started the charge process with quick charge enabled at 5% and started a timer for 30 minutes. The stock Samsung charger was able to bring the battery to 43% while the Anker charger brought the battery to 52%.
Within the next few days I will do a test from 5% to 100% both with quick charge enabled and disabled.
On a side note I also picked up a 6 foot kevlar wrapped Anker micro USB cable. It feels well made and the connections are nice. I probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't on sale but I needed a new long micro USB cable.
So far I'd have to say that if you need another charger and you want Quick Charge 3.0 for another phone then go ahead and grab one. If you don't really need another charger or don't need Quick Charge 3.0 then I wouldn't waste the money on one unless you really want the slightly faster charging for the S7 Edge.

silly noob question alert:
Will qc 3.0 devices, charge the s7 edge at qc 2.0/fast charge rates?
Assuming you used an s7 for your charging experiments above, then it appears they do....thanks for post

No, it will charge at the same speed as a QC 2.0 charger since there S7/S7E don't support QC 3.0
That's exactly what I asked, re qc2.0 but thanks for clarification, I wasn't sure if qc3.0 was 'backwards compatible' kind of thing

It is backwards compatible with QC 2.0. I did a test of those chargers QC 2.0/3.0, Wireless, fast wireless that you can see in my signature. The charge times are identical as you will see.
awesome, cheers dude

Yes, quick charge 3.0 compatible with all qc2.0 supported devices, like S7 edge.
So I search on Amazon and find that Anker, iClever, Aukey released their new quick charge 3.0 usb chargers.
Could you check the numbers with Galaxy Charging Current?
When you refer to the Samsung stock charger, do you mean the wired one or the Samsung Fast Charge wireless charger?

Wired. I have no use for wireless chargers.
Once you go wireless you don't go back. lol I hate wires. I have four wireless chargers. Three were pretty much free. With T-Mobile Jump (phone junkie) I just sell my fast charging cablez and headphones for a few bucks since I don't need anymore. So why didn't Samsung put 3.0 charging in the S7 Edge?
I guess they designed the phone before quick charge 3.0 was available? Maybe it hurt they're bottom line? I don't know but whatever the reason it was a stupid decision.
The reason I don't like wireless chargers is because the only time I ever charge my phone is either in the car or while laying in bed. In both places I like using the phone while it charges.

No, QC has it as part of the SoC, si its supported technically but Samsung chose not to use it for an unknown reason.
They disabled it in the Snap dragon version because the other phone with their own SOC wouldn't support it so to keep the 2 on parity they disabled ours.
Ok I got my 128gb card and my Samsung wireless convertible charger today. I also have last year's wireless charger. I set my new wireless charger up and when connected my phone it says charging. When I put my phone on my older one it says fast charging. Also when I put it on the wall plug it says fast charging. Is anyone else having these problems?
Nope. My new Samsung charger came with a new adaptive fast charge adapter and usb c cable. Says fast charging. I'd never spend that much on a Samsung model. Still doesn't charge properly in portrait mode. My $15 youshare wireless fast charge base works just as well

I figured it out I have a 3.0 charging hub and when it is connected to that it does not fast charge. But if I hook my phone straight to the hub it fast charges. So it has to be a Samsung wall plug for it to fast charge.
Yup I have a 6 port anker qc hub but the fast chargers all require the stock wall adapter for some reason. The aftermarket ones are the same way

The Samsung wireless charger from last year works on my Anker hub. It's just the new one. Not a big deal its not like it's going to charge any faster.

It could be charger specific using different protocols. I have an Mbox 4 port qc 2.0 car charger that will not charge the note 8 in fast charge mode. I had to purchase another charger that is qc 3.0 to get it working.

Notice the packaging for the new (Note 8) Convertible charger has been changed to a slimmer, nicer box. Wonder if they changed the charger it's self?
I have noticed mine will only say wireless charging and not fast wireless charging sometimes. If I take the phone off and pit it back on it jump to fast wireless charging.
