Both are the XT1063 model.

I have that one (Global XT1063), and it got Lollipop as soon as they started rolling the update, so I don't see why it shouldn't.

Considering 5.1.1 has not officially been released for the xt1095... that could be your problem. Also I have heard you cannot be rooted if you want to use it. I assume it would have issues with custom roms, but I am not sure on that.

or you could just take it either to the at&t store or maybe Best Buy and they will reflash the phone for you.
