This thread is a collection of the newest versions of system apps and other useful stuff.
Please feel free to continue and upload newer versions if you get hold of any, i will include them in first post then ! This thread is all about sharing !!
Most files are flashable zip´s for recovery, they will install to system/app (and possibly overwrite old versions, i´ll keep standard name)
I test everything before i post here, but there´s no guarantee it will also work for you, don´t blame me ...
Apps like Gmail, Youtube, Maps are not included, just get them from market.

-> Market 3.3.11 (Speed up market using WIFI : install "set DNS" from market - setting : "openDNS" - thx temasek for finding out)
-> unofficial CM GAPPS 2011.10.02 (Android 2.3.7) - just delete from zip file (system/app) what you don´t want
-> Gallery 3D 2.0 (newest 3D Gallery)
-> Gallery 3D_1.1.30684 (with plain black background, faster & better image quality than 2.0 !!!)
-> LauncherPro 0.8.6
-> Superuser 3.0.6
-> HTC Ime (normal & themed)
-> MarketAccess 1.0.6
-> Music_4.0.1.501
-> S97ramscript by Juwe11 (flashable zip in my folder)
-> GooglePlus_2.1.0.216852 - Install with filemanager (like Astro) as normal apk, uninstall old version first ! (breaks contacts.apk for some people - FC when trying to add a new contact. Works fine for me though, no problems with contacts. You have to try out yourself.)

I tried to include everything useful (Basebands, Smartflash, NVFlash, Recovery, my Themes, Wallpapers, ...)

To preserve apps when flashing new CM :
create & put "custom_backup_list.txt" to "system/etc" folder on your phone BEFORE you flash new nightly.
apps that are included in this file will be backed up and preserve flashing of new ROM.
you can include apps, fonts, etc in this file, just edit it on your PC, or on your phone directly.
GAPPS (like market, etc...) will be backed up automatic, no need to include them in this file.
uploaded example file includes :

you can add anything you want, just keep the same structure ...

System Apps from 4.1.2 [DOWNLOAD]

Hey people,
I extracted the system apps from 4.1.2 and try to install them on my old Defy (with root). I was able to replace calculator and browser, most apps won't install but i think i can find a solution . So I uploaded the apks on MEGA.
maybe some of you can try that on older devices too and on 4x with 4.0.4.

Here is a Chrome Browser plugin which is for downloading Google PlayStore apps as APK on your computer,its simple to do and work well,have tested a pair minutes ago.

Whats needed?
1. Latest Chrome Browser
2. Android Device ID.apk its attached at bottom
3. APK Downloader Chrome Extension its attached too,its zipped,so extract it

Make sure you have latest Chrome installed

Download and install Device ID on your Phone

1.1 Open Chrome settings and go to Tools and than Extensions

1.2 Now drag and drop the extracted Extension file in this Windows,it install,just type OK and activate it
Now click on OPTIONS

1.3 You see APK Downloader option,there you must add the google email adress that u use for PlayStore and your Device ID.

1.4 For this open Device ID in your Phone, you find the "Google Service Framework (GSF ID KEY),type this code in the field from APK
Downloader Options.
Click Sign In.

NOTE: Dont edit anything under advanced+device settings,leave it by default,otherwise it doesnt work!!!!!!

1.5 Now go to Playstore and look for an app you whant download.
When you are on the site for example Nova Launcher you see a lil green Android right in your searchbar
Just click on the android and voila its downloaded.

1.6 Now go to your downloads folder and there it is.

Take this test this application LineageOS Gallery, I it am using 4.1.3 OOS Beta 5 (install as normal application). The application is in a file unzip the zip file and install the application's Gallery as a normal apk file.

Can you give the link of older one? For nougat of course. Because all other aosp galleries aren't working on Latest LineageOS
