[Q] NO SIM Card GT-S5830

Hi Guys.. I have a serious problem. Yesterday, my phone was working fine. Today, I can't get to call or message as my phone shows NO SIM CARD!!! What's the PROBLEM???? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Did you try changing your Sim card? Or flash a new ROM to verify.

Flashing new ROM does not work too...

Did u try putting that sim card in another phone?? The ACE's SIM slot rips off the SIM card after too many insertions.. Happened to me.. Changed the SIM card no problem

Done... It works on another phone but not mine!!!! WHAT THE >>> IS THE PROBLEM???? Its been working for so many days and all of a sudden, this pops out of thin air!!!!!!

Yes.. None of them worked on my phone but worked on other phone... And the best part is, I can't even flash using ODIN. The bootloader show me DOWNLOADING, but no android with a shovel logo... SO NOW HOW?????

Asked TeamCooper abt it. Its hardware issue. Not software.. Freakin Irritating!!

No one asked you to use Heimdall OneClick .
You should be using ODIN -.- and a full package as well

You're pretty much f*cked......soooooo goodluck !
The only solution is probably Service Center

Go to sam service station tell them was upgrading my fone to official v of gingerbread via kies and this happend they will do it for free ...

Friend, did you discover the problem with the phone?
I´ve one with the same problem...

Please Help

I have installed CWM 6.0.1 recovery and all it is ok.
I made also a back up.
When I reboot the system the phone starts only in recovery. No way to start it normally!!!
What Happened?
How to solve the problem?
Please Help.

try to reinstall recovery

Flash bootloader, I cant provide you a link now but I now for sure that somebody will post it or do some searching and you'll find it!

bootloader will be in .tar format so flah it via odin and your phone in download mode

Flash the phone with another rom it will boot normal

If that dosen't work flash your phone whit a 3 parts rom you can use :
GT-I9001 Open Europe 2011 July Android 2.3.3 I9001XXKP4 ## I9001OXAKP2 Download from http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ is 100% the best way to fix your phone ....my phone got stuk 5 min ago after swiching from Cm9 to GB like thet i fix it

I solved reinstalling the bootloader with odin....

pl help cannot detect sim

hi i am using singtel s3 i9305 from singapore and earlier i tried flashing 4.1.1 firmware without changing back to my stock recovery/kernel and i tried install my official 4.1.2 version now and i could not get my phone to detect my micro sim i even tried to flash a rom but still i am experiencing a problem please help.....i got firmwares from sammobile.com....please help very urgent...

ya it says null and when i tried to restore via qualcomm it says no phone connected and cannot restore i am stuck...

Have you tried the last option? DM + MODEM + ADB? That is the only option that works for me with QPST.

The recovery software requires 64bit operating system. It won't connect phone if you're using 32bit

bro i am using windows 8 dell 64bit...........

Asaik, it doesn't work properly on W8... maybe that is your problem

You can backup rom and upload in mediafire.com

i think we cannot backup stock rom from stock recovery we need custom recovery to backup rom like cwm,TWRP...

Sure... but first of all I need a working backup from the stock recovery 'cause my 626 has some issues with the startup (my fault). Fixed that I can access to my phone, acess the root and extract my own stock rom and upload.

No my friend file is not broken just rename file 0PKXIMG.zip and copy it to sd card flash it overfastboot..only go to fastboot hboot.. it work like a charm.

Is this for the single SIM or dual SIM variant? Because as far as i can tell, this is for the single SIM variant, and i need the one for the dual SIM variant.
