[Q] Samsung GT-s5830 break on restore - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
I need help. A friend gave me a mobile (gt-s5380).
I restore the mobile to formatting his data with the android menu. After was off the phone. and does not work. I cant open mobile.
I searched the problem, and the solution are restore with botons(volume UP/down+menu+power), but doesnt work.
I went to mobile shop for repair, he tell me it's a problem in software, and the cost are expensive.
How to restore the mobile? is blocked?
Is posible with odin or samsung kies? the odin solution i read that is necessary push 3 buttons for enter a menu but not is posible.
Thanks! and excuse my english

It's possible to power on the smartphone?
You have two options:
1) Press middle Key ( OK key ) and power buttons and wait until the smartphone enters in recovery mode: flash a custom rom;
2) Press middle Key ( OK key ) + Power + Volume Down to enter in dowload mode and use odin to flash stock rom;
I don't know other way.

Mhm... but as his recovery mode access is blocked, I doubt if he will be able to access the download mode as well...
@OP: if you will be able to go to download mode - apply the Bhuvan's advice. If not - last resort - buy jig on eBay...
Spamtrash I d think that the op knows the correct way to access recovery. And why he wont be able to access recovery, pattern lock is not related to recovery. Pls guide him to acces recovery and download mode, I am busy sorry.

Recovery = Volume Up + Home + Power
Download = Volume Down + Home + Power
If your phone is off, hold down those buttons as you would the power button to boot the phone into the appropriate mode. If your phone is on, hold down those buttons for ~10 seconds to reboot your phone into that mode (likewise, holding down just the power button for ~10 seconds will reboot the phone while it's running).
Regardless of whether or not the phone is locked (pattern, pin, anything), you should be able to access these modes. If you can get your phone into download mode, you can flash whatever ROM you want with Odin, stock or custom—and this will replace the entire firmware, which will reset the lock. However, I would not recommend flashing a ROM if you cannot get your phone into download mode, or you risk bricking your device.
If ur recovery is working then their is wipe data/ factory reset option in samsung's recivery too. Try that.

Guys, thanks so much for your time ! I have tried all most every method you guys suggested me. but no good luck !
I know a dude who can do this soft of issues, but not for free (LOL)
First he told that the pattern can be unlocked. When I reached him to get it done. he told that it is going to take long time and its much better to flash new rom 2.3.4 where all my data will be gone. I agreed and what he did is
My phone was not going to download mode with the 3buttons shortcuts as upichie told. he connected a USB pin to my phone and used 3 button shortcuts to go into download mode. from download mode he flashed my phone to latest version 2.3.4.
This is how my issue ended ! you know what's the funny thing in this ? he download every thing from XDA !! HE HE !! LOL !!
Thanks again for all who ever replied and tried to solve my issue !

For future reference, it sounds like he used a USB JIG to get the phone into download mode, in case you need to find information about that on a later date.

But when that happends kies gives u a code, then u connect it again and u can do an emergency rescue or something like that :S
Then let's consider power failure and PC turn-off
Like someone already said just send it to samsung service and with an inocent face say "I dont know what happened, it just never turned back on " and they cant find out the real reason it bricked so they will fix it

Your might want to try PWR + HOME to get into Recovery Mode screen, then Wipe Data (Factory Reset), when done remove battery, wait 10 sec., then insert battery and boot normally... has worked for me on the orphaned S5830D SGAce w/ DTLKI4 f/w. BUT, be aware, all user settings and installed apps are vaporized !!! Stuff on /SDCARD is safe.
Cheers,
help please

One package? Aren't you supposed to use the one with the 5 different files and not just one? To make a completely clean stock rom install, I mean. If that's what you want.
I think he(or she) want a stock rom only. You need to do a full wipe after flash with odin. Maybe touch recovery helps you, but i cant find any . You can go to download mode by "adb reboot download" , i think it cant success without wipe.
Or maybe try to flash a rom with 5 files as SuperAce609 said.
No. You can't flash 2.3.6 directly.
You need to flash 2.3.3 first , then 2.3.4 and last 2.3.6 using Odin.

the poor guy had his vol up and down button broke, and u suggest him to wipe data in recovery.
thing is his vol up and downn button doesnt work! so how can he navigate in recovery? lol
btw op, u said that u flashed onepackagee file via odin. so how did u manage to go into download mode in the first place when your vol down button is busted?
if u managed to go into download mode again, this time flash the full package instead.

My phone was running 2.2.1 Froyo. I tried to upgrade it to 2.3.6 using process mentioned here. http://androidadvices.com/update-gal...wktm-firmware/
The Odin completed successfully and restarted the phone. But the phone was running spanish language. I was getting an alert after every 3-4 seconds. But i could not read it as it was spanish. I restarted the phone and it went in boot loop. The phone keeps rebooting every 2 seconds.
I can't get into recovery mode but I can get to download mode.
I have tried flashing many ROMs from sammobile.com but none of them is working.

Samsung Galaxy S

I installed I897UCJF6-final-CSO REV0 it is Odin3 One-Click downloader and I started it on the PC and USB cable for mobile in PC and installed it. Everything went great and now when I want turn on the phone show me pictures of the "at&t world phone" and mobile phone constantly restarts... not impossible at all turned on. Does anyone know what should I do?

you will have to buy a usb jig(ebay £2) this will force download mode.
As long as it boots up, there is no problem. Try the following (you will need some help):
1. Pull the battery
2. Press Volume down+Homebutton+Power at the same time
3. Let a friend put the battery back into the phone while you are pressing the buttons.
Maybe the phone will go into DL mode so you can flash a new ROM. I advise you to flash a clean stock ROM from sammobile.
If this doesn't work, you will need a JIG.
Cheers!

Try installing the Samsung drivers yourself, I think there is one in Sammobile.com. Not sure though, or just try visiting samsung's website and download the drivers.
Just Google for Samsung mobile usb driver, i have just downloaded it few hours ago.
