Bump zimage - LG G Flex

Do we still need to bump .img everything we compile a new one and try to flash it with twrp?
Sent from my LG-D959

I don't think bump is open for business any more so all we have right now are .img's that are already bumped.

Yes u have to and you can use open bump instead

you should be able to extract them from one of the RUU's already posted. I'd send you mine off my pone but I can't (read: don't have the time to **** around with it) from work.

Hmm, sorry for stating the obvious but did you try the CM nightly builds?
Actually I dont want to apply them because i dont have any issues with stock rom and the perfomance is really nice also. All in all I dont want to leave the stock. So thats why i need those files.

I want the whole tree if cm7 is going to be ready i will sync my tree and i will be able to make my own rom. If it works i would customize it maybe.

Are they compatible with it? because the wiki said i need a phone that runs on cyanogen mod and i am on 2.2.2 isnt this a problem?

1. make a nandroid backup
2. install cm
3. get ur files
4. make nandroid restore
if you know what files u exactly need u can extract them from the last nightly
I know but afraid that nandroid fails. Thanks by the way!

I am getting same error, and also miss below files in Proprietary,
can you extract it for me from your stock, and upload here?
Need few files as below
adb pull /system/bin/btld /your/desired/location
adb pull /system/bin/immvibed /your/desired/location
adb pull /system/bin/lgospd /your/desired/location
adb pull /system/bin/lgospd_hid /your/desired/location
If you read the cyanogenmod wiki about building cm7 for your device specifically there's a script called extract_files.sh that will get the files you need.

i do know about it, but i m getting error in these few files when try to extract, and then checked its not there in CM7 nightliy 17, so as you running stock, i think it would be in yours, but its ok, got it from proprietary link
I have a problem in connection with setting udev. I dont know how to do it. A few line instruction would be useful. All I know is that I have to customize udev.d to lge code right? But I dont find the that file.
Edit: I logged in as root and made 51-android.rules in etc/udec/rules chmoded but it doesn't work. cannot adb pull
Could you upload your proprietary files? That would be really nice.

Sorry for my late reply, I was sleeping, as i was compiling my rom at already 4 am germany. Just woke up, and here is link to koush's files, thank him.
https://github.com/koush/proprietary_vendor_lge
just use download button, and download as zip and then extract in your folder, but if your rules have problem it would be first thing to fix it.
Sure but I downloaded the same and got the error that I had posted. BTW have you succeeded in compiling the rom?

Did you try CWM or sgs kernel flasher which sends you to CWM?
ODIN only does .tar/md5 files.....if its a zip file 99% chance its CWM......
no i didnt wasnt sure which one to use. thanks
do i unzip the file first or cwm does it for me?
CWM does it, theres in option that says install zip from sdcard, then choose the zip from sdcard

I know you got your answer, but if you had spent some time reading the Andromeda threads in Q&A (a sticky) and Dev you would have gotten your answer easily. This should have been posted in the sticky. That's what it is here for. Please use it before starting a new thread in the future.

I have NEVER had to type system/bin before sensorcalibutil_yahama.
What does the zip file do?
Flashable zip?
*edit* nevermind I just peeked inside the zip.
For post above me, you flash through clockwork, and it flashes the calibration tool needed.
And btw its no included at all in gb, hence the need for this to be flashed
Sent from my SPH-D700
ran the calibration tool and it made no difference
No difference here either. Doesn't really bother me much tho.

Well thanks for getting this still Marcusant.
Just a thought, but wouldn't you need the other files that go with it? If i knew how to compile one of these zips, i would edit it and see if it worked >.>

I would think you could just download a rom open it up with winrar and copy it out and post it with credits and permission of coarse, just to be safe
Well the reason i mentioned the 3 files, is that sensorcalibutil_yamaha was the only file that's flashed in this fix. Hence why it might not work? Again, i know nothing of fixes and development on Android, but from a programming perspective, i would say they're dependent files...
Who knows... If anyone feels like taking the time to re-create this fix with the files listed, it just may work. =\

Drag them into the zip and post it. Trust me, Marcusant probably doesn't mind the whole permission thing.

[TOOL][EFS][LINUX][ROOT]Simple efs backup Grand DUOS

Hello XDA,
I created a simple backup-script for the efs-partition of the GT-I9082
Instructions
1. Download the .zip file
2. Extract it
3. Open terminal and "cd" to the directory, where you extracted it.
4. type
Code:
./efs_backup.sh
if you got "rm failed for /sdcard/efs_tmp.img, No such file or directory", just ignore it
5. You can now find a file named "efs_backup_cwm.zip", you can flash it with cwm to restore your efs-partition
Why should I do that?
That's a simple question: Every Rom you flash and every root-app you use could have a simple bug and override/delete your efs-partition
What is the efs-partition?
It's a partition, wich is needed for any device-specific number like IMEI, Wlan-MAC-adress and so on. If it gets deleted/damaged, your mobile
will nothing more than a Mp3-player, unless you can flash back your old efs-partition.
Can you release it for Windows?
No, because I think every android-user should have linux installed on their pc and it doesn't cost anything. I have a dual-boot, too. If you want it on Windows, feel free to port it, it
won't be hard. If you want to install linux, I suggest you a debian-based distribution, because there will be the best support for android.
I WILL NOT ANSWER TO STUPID QUESTIONS!
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE ON YOUR DEVICE!
Thanks bro, it works fine with me
