First!!
Guys, the Dialer is broken. It crashes right after dialing.
Until I release a new build, there is an updated Dialer.apk in my MEGA folder.
Just copy it into /system/priv-app/Dialer/ and reboot.
Tried to install on my Z2 but when i'm running the zip it says "This package is for: D6502, D6503, D6506, D6543, Sirius; This device is Yuga"
you're gonna have to change your kernel as whatever kernel you're on was probable based on one for the z
Never thought you'll open a new thread. You can keep on with your own build until the team rolls out official build.
I'll keep the device tree updated.
OK, thanks. I've basically made this build for myself but I thought I might share it... I'm sorry if this is against good practice. I'm fine with closing the thread if you guys want to.
Aside from that it works really great! Thanks to the PA team again and again!
Got the double-tap-to-wake working. Thanks to this commit: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/80439/
Somehow i didn't manage to enable it from the settings, I got to edit the dt2w file manually.
UPDATE: It's merged to the main kernel source, next builds including CM should have this working. (at least the code btw)
UPDATE-2: Setting SELinux to permissive fixed it.
My main build machine is actually at work, so there won't be a new full build by me until Monday, but I'll see if I can make a new kernel image and upload it. Thanks!
EDIT: Any estimate on the battery life impact? (Should be minimal on the Z2 anyway)
@TheMrcool212:
Great, it works! Though not sure yet if current boot.img is suitable for everything, I'm still testing.
audio_policy.conf is missing the output-flag-fast flag for a2dp ("flags AUDIO_OUTPUT_FLAG_FAST"). Once it's there, bt audio works very well.

Hey,
Nope, here, at outputs:
https://github.com/AOSPA-legacy/android_device_sony_sirius/blob/lollipop/audio/audio_policy.conf#L95
The flag should *also* be present in the compress-offload policy, here:
https://github.com/AOSPA-legacy/android_device_sony_sirius/blob/lollipop/audio/audio_policy.conf#L51
HTH
Just for clarity I've uploaded the working audio_policy.conf:
https://gist.github.com/md5555/f61bb1dfb842519c6c25
Since we're speaking of audio, I've also somewhat modified the mixer path conf; among other fixes it eliminates the mic audio playing back into the headphones when making a voice call on headset. It's in our AOSP repo: https://github.com/xperia-aosp-proj...blob/lp5.0/rootdir/system/etc/mixer_paths.xml
Send me a pull request, I'm leaving home until tomorrow.
I'm not really home either so I guess not before tomorrow.
Sensors are partially broken in the dt2w kernel, so I'm keeping this one for me (check with e. g. CPU-Z)
Uploaded new build 20141209.
Build 20141209-2 contains BT fixes from CM gerrit which fix no audio on bluetooth/problems restarting BT under some circumstances until reboot.

Hello,
CM-11 needs no introduction. This is for the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" called Apollo. You need an unlocked bootloader or have TWRP signed recovery installed.
Ignore the /data remount error, the firmware flash will succeed given enough time.

good work:thumbup:
Sent from my MI 2SC using XDA Free mobile app
Installed, first impressions are just WOW... Impressive work @ggow, thanks!
Pretty smooth I must say ... since wifi and bluetooth is not working I just (for fun) restored over CM11 my data nandroid backup from nexus 2.0.5, few FC (nothing serious): 99% apps just working, xposed working too, games are excellent, smooth, headphones are working , i played very shortly some videos through default player - no problems there...
Edit: rear camera is making some strange noises when focusing and tablet is gently vibrating (!) when sound appear, so is probably not safe to use rear camera for now ...
Collect firmware for mThor. I will participate in the testing

geez mate, I JUST finished downloading and flashing the first build and you put this up!
Anyway, both front and rear cameras work a treat for photo, video and audio... rear camera has trouble with autofocus after doing it once or twice (as jeryll mentioned).
Earphones working great although there were some random pops and clicks here and there even when nothing was being done.
Now to flash the new build! cheers!
I've tried the new build, but still no WiFi..
Try to reboot to get wifi

Thanks for the ROM keep up the good work is working good so far I'm going to test some apps
Oh hell yes. I was going to use the Magic beans one, but I got "bricked" my s4(Gmail constantly stopping, couldn't use ROM, Safestrap Deleted, no Root). I really need to downgrade my damned bootloader...
Thank you very much for your effort. It is so good to know this device is still taken care of.
Just have a quick tried. It is very smooth. I installed xposed and it works. I also installed Microsoft Excel and Word which needs android 4.4 or above. It is amazing good. Thanks.
Update
@Cpasjuste, @dpeddi and myself are busy with Lollipop.

I just built the ROM fresh and have not flashed it yet. It's built with the same sources as my RR rom for the device/kernel so it should all be the same. I'll test later today but I'll leave the link here for people.
First
I'll be sure to check it out later
wasnt this rom still in beta testing? has it even finished testing yet?

Jpc kernel base if he is saying its the same source as his resurrection remix
Been on this for a few hours an don't have any issues with it. Baseband Unknown is the same as moth other roms and I asked the guy who built the Dirty Unicorns rom how he got it working, so crossing fingers
@ming3r
If he has a fix do share. Because the new lg dev kernel has the same issue
There's a new kernel? WAIT ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS WORKS? https://github.com/lg-devs/android_kernel_lge_msm8974-caf
Unrelated note, I'm not sure if it's a Kernel issue. Both the DU rom and PA all use JPC's kernel.
Only problem I'm having is the play services force closer which I wasn't having on PAC but seemed like I was on everything else
Did you try the gapps I linked? Looks like they fixed some stuff with that Banks one.
@ming3r
Correct, but per rashed&CO. Its not ready for prime time

Anyone have working GPS on this ROM??
I'll give this a try in a bit and report back. AICP has always been one of my favorites.
Been a few days and its pretty good so far. Came from PacMan and more things working (minor stuff) with nothing new broken.
GPS works... but it seems more sensitive (random re-routes)... but it might just be my imagination.
THANKS ming3r
What does it mean to make sure all my sensors are working? Is there some mod I need to flash to ensure gps, accelerometers, light sensors work?
Main question is, does HD Calling / advanced calling work on this ROM?
@dr_w
Make sure they're working means flashing a stock 39a ROM if you have not yet, and making sure it rotates a few times before flashing 39a jpc aosp.
I'm not sure if that works on aosp for us or not. Not quite sure there is a way to check.
I'm not sure how much more building I'll be doing for this, but my notes from running this for a few days was that it wasn't smooth enough for me. I frequently got app hangs and force closes for small things, but that may have been the madness caused by Google Play Services. I'm back to RR for now but maybe I'll throw in another build sometime.

ChangeLog:
Code:
[B]23/09/15[/B]
- Initial release
How to do a logcat1º Download Logviewer and extract the files.
2º Connect the phone to pc an check if you have usb debugging active
3º Opening logview.bat it will ask for adb path (adb is in the logview folder)
4º Now you should see the log spamming about sensors. Right click in the message and press "Hide with this tag". Do this for the 5 sensors messages and you should be good to start logging.
5º Now go to the menu adb and click reset logs. After this reproduce the bug.
Example:
Camera app is crashing.
-Click reset log.
-Open camera.
-Disconnect device from pc to stop logging
-Go to file, save, give a name.
6º Send me the log.
Wow i can't believe this?
Oh yeah ! . downloading now !
Running BlissPop v3.5 boosted with Tangerin 5.2
Installed the "updated" version from basketbuild. For now the only bug i found is the camera, it doesent work. Tried with google camera too but its says that it cant connect to the camera.

I couldn't try it becouse dialer was laggy and i couldn't call at all so i had to change rom. Tomorrow i'll retry to flash it and i'll let u know for all the bugs.
EDIT: i read about problems in other devices too, problems like bad ram management and random reboots. But with t-kernel that is going to be solved i guess. Devices like oneplus one or nexus 5 are also having problems with the camera.

Hi everybody,
Not sure if anyone frequents this anymore but I have started a project set to replace the npe GPS vendor blob of the i9300. This is so that the android/bionic patch will no longer be required and we can push for CM and other official rom support from Lollipop upwards.
The nexus 7 (Grouper) has the same GPS chipset as we do on the i9300 (BCM47511 ) and the blobs are PIE, so a straight swap should be easy.
Turns out not quite the case, I have got it so that the phone can find satellites, a little bit slow, but finds them nonetheless. However I can't get it to fix on them yet.
If people are interested in this project I will post up, what I have done and any logs etc I have gathered. I can't say for sure but I imagine that the solution for the i9300 would be very similar to that of the Samsung Note N7000 as well, if any devs from there are interested.

This is not the solution as it isn't a flashable zip. It also more than likely doesn't contain the relevant code you require. What rom are you using? Perhaps I could help the Dev?
Thanks for quick responding
The 2 ROMs I was using been Dirty Unicorn 5.1 and Validus 5.1 ROM where the GPS not working! I think Andrea Turchet is the developer from both of the ROMs. I asked the Developer for a fix but nothing happened since them. I think they stopped working on DU already since the I9300 comes @ his ages
Maybe you can get in touch with the devs and find a solution?
Thanks in advance
Hi @mcgi5sr2
I'm running the official CM13 nightlies (by @forkbomb444) on my i9300, and I've got a problem with the GPS. I can see satelittes and get a fix, but it drops every minute or two.
I posted about the problem here but I've been trying to investigate further so I wanted to see if I could use older copies of gpsd, gps.exynos4.so and libsecril-client.so to see whether that would "fix" the problem - that idea lead me to this commit which in turn lead me to this thread.
Do you know whether I can easily downgrade these blobs on my i9300 CM13? (I can find them easily enough, but I notice that the filenames have changed - I don't understand the android gps subsystem architecture to know what to do next).
Alternatively (since this is not my daily driver phone), I can install the original haxynox AOSP Rom to see whether this has the same problem.
Any pointers/assistance to help me to investigate this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Jaime
Hi,
I have stopped development, but can relate to the issue you have mentioned. The grouper blobs are even older than the S3 blobs but were PIE and thus functioned on M where PIE blobs were required. They also lacked some of the functionality that native Samsung blobs had built in. All of this was a sacrifice to get GPS working on M. So going back to older blobs won't help. I haven't checked but perhaps newer Grouper blobs if they exist would help.

First , thank you. looking forward to windy version release
I didn't test this rom.
after installation-> first boot-> freezing(after 2~3 second) -> auto restart -> Boot -> freezing....repeat again.. again
rom: 20190928
gapps = opengapps (ARM / 9.0 / nano)
Absolutely great, using it for a week already. Even brightness level is fixed. Battery time is great too.
Only two small bugs:
1) Magnet cover does not switch off the screen
2) 5Ghz Wifi does not work in Russia (common Sony problem)
Hi, I am interested in installing this ROM. Can someone share the installation procedure or steps?
Thanks in advance!!
One more small bug - seems like battery indicator is working wrong - my tablet now always turns of at 30% of indicator. It does not mean that it consumes more power now - seems that 70% now == 100% before...
Thank you for the new ROM for this great tablet. Is there any hope that the official ROM got released too?
i'll try it for my sgp641~thx!

Hi
I have a Sony Z3tc (Tablet Compact) SGP611 and recently started using custom ROMs instead of the stock one.
