Hello,
I hope someone can help me, I bought the phone from ebay and it's brand new, it's the dual sim, the only issue with the phone is that it doesn't connect to my provider here in Canada (Wind Mobile) can someone tell me if there's a way to change the frequency to be the same as the one of my provider or if I should just flash a rom and it would work.
Thanks,
Dan
Do you verify which bands of frequencies are used by your provider and do you compare them with the specification of your P7 ?

Hi every one, i have huawei p7 l10 b133sp01 and its show me roaming, i am in norway using norway sim card, who can help me with that? Sometimes 3g sometimes R, what i shell do?
I have read its a place problem about the cust info. That partition haven't got the properly info of the carrier, so the phone think that you are out . That happens because your carrier use the network of other carrier. For example imagine that your carrier its apex, but use the o2 network, in fact its using another , that's roaming and if the phone haven't got the information to know that the roaming is local , show that.
Some people say that they can solve the problem installing the udpate.app of the vendor cards. Didn't work for me. The other way is try th edit build.prop adding new lines , but you need root for that ..good luck.
Hi, I recently purchased a Samsung S5 Mini.
model # SM-G800F
Android version 4.4.2
I'd previously read that my sim would work fine according to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/Choosing-...-on-Three-3-Network-/10000000020620251/g.html
I've inserted the sim but it says 'network locked sim card inserted'
I've got a full signal with the phone and so the issue is definitely related to the sim.
I presume I have to unlock the phone?
Phone is locked to EE network in UK but it seems that my network Three (3) shares the same network and so, in theory, the sim should work??
Thanks for the flood of support. I ended up buying a code off ebay.
Dear, everyone.
I've just got my P9 and I try to enable 3G in both sim because my first sim need to enable 3G for call/answer, my second sim use for 4G internet.
I've try engineer mode *#*#2846579159*#*# but not have function to unlock 3G in both.
Anybody have a service mode code for Huawei P9.
Thanks everybody for your answer.
Hi,
I know this is old, but wondering if you were ever able to figure out if this is possible and how?
guess you can only have 2g connectivity in second sim, that's too bad I can have 3g in second sim in motorola g4 plus, guess kirin is no better than exynos after all
Hey guys,
OK so here's the deal, I bought a Huawei p9 from offer up, the seller was up front and honest with me and told me that it would not get cell service with his carrier, he had tmobile, so I thought it was probably just user error, well I have a SIM with att and tmobile, and I tried with both, however it does get service and works but loses it in a matter of minutes, looks like when it tries to switch from 3g to lte and won't get it back again unless I go into mobile network settings and change from automatic to manual but then doesn't get any better than edge and it doesn't even work when I try to call out or data, the model number is Eva-l09 and I live in the east coast US, I did a little bit of research and found that this is a p9 from Taiwan, I've tried rebranding it from c636 to c432, no matter what Rom I installed custom or factory, same thing... Am I screwed? Or is there a way to enable the correct bands?
I am considering buying the dual-sim CLT-L29 version of the Huawei P20 Pro, and I'd like to understand if it is compatible with wifi calling in the UK, specifically with EE and Vodafone. I understand from the networks' websites that their wifi calling should be compatible with single sims P20 Pro, even if bought elsewhere. However, both networks have said (chat tech support) they don't know if the dual sim works and they cannot guarantee it.
So, has any one tried it?
I understand from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/help/volte-wifi-calling-uk-t3776051 that the L29 works with Three's wifi calling, but Three has a poor signal in my area. Plus Three doesn't support 2G, and is the second sim in the L29 2G only or also 3G?
O2's wifi calling doesn't work with Huawei phones, according to its site.
Thanks!
