Hey! So i'm trying to install the Market Helper app on my Galaxy S3, which tricks google into thinking your phone is something else so you can install apps not compatible with your device. But every time I run it, when it gets to step 2 "doing magical stuff" it just stops, it comes up with the error "Unfortunately, market helper has stopped". So I am running the Codename Lungo rom for Galaxy S3 I9305 and my phone is rooted with Super User working. I tried wiping and formatting the phone and reinstalling the rom, and then trying the Market Helper, still doesn't work. Even immediately after I install the market helper, no difference. Anyone know how to fix this?

I recently installed the kitkat update and installed an app (pandora). I uninstalled it but when I tried re-installing it I get an unknown error -24 in the Google Play Store. When I try installing it via ADB i get an error saying [INSTALL_FAILED_UID_CHANGED] . I know that this can be fixed by deleting the /data/data/pandora.filename.whatever but this requires root and I honestly don't feel like going through rooting my Moto X again as of now. So my question is does anyone know of a solution to this or will I just have to go without Pandora?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 active and cannot update the binary for supersu. It used to work correctly but simply stopped. I am rooted. I have tried everything and am sooo FRUSTRATED! HEEELLLLPPPP! Whenever I try to load it asks me if I want to do normal or TWRP. Either option forces the app to crash. My model is 4.2.2 thanks.
I have a Samsung galaxy tab s android 5.0.2 I have rooted it and my google play services have stopped working so I thought of fully unrooting it by the help of super su but it could not install the binary and even then I tried to unroot which was unsuccessful and there were no changes in my tab I have no custom recovery or anything I have made no changes after rooting I used king root to root my device all I did was installed freedom and hacked some games my google play services also don't work anymore
Have you tried to force closing Google Play in Settings/Apps ? I had a similar behaviour while I played with King Root on a phone, and this cleared the problem.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab sch i800 CDMA 2.3.5 with CWM-5.0.2.7 Recovery
I flashed CWM-5.0.2.7 Recovery. Installed CM-10-20131006 for p1c. Installed gapps-jb-20121011-signed.
Every thing seemed to work ok the first few weeks but now Apps like email , camera, play store , wifi others etc. shuts off. Process android. process.acore has stopped.
Process com google. process.gapps has stopped. Process android.process media has stopped.
Some game apps give an error of 492 when you can get to the play store. The clearing data and cache in tab creates more problems. Rom is slow and eats up the battery. I do have an app killer that says it closes apps and releases ram.
FIX is to use CM9 stable and the gapps for the CM9 you use
download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=stable&device=p1c
if you're still active and have either and OTA for 2.3.5 that you can post or a method for rooting the i800 on 2.2 it would be much appreciated if you shared.

Using "All 4" app with CyanogenMod 12.1 - "Missing software components"?
Hi,
I recently purchased my first Android device in the form of an Android Fire 7 (2015) tablet. I really didn't like the stock OS, and so I've installed CyanogenMod 12.1, which is much better! Everything is working great - I've got ADB and fastboot working via Terminal on my Mac, I've got a Terminal emulator running with root access on the device, and I've downloaded a bunch of apps.
My only problem is with the "All 4" app - an app created by a UK TV network with the purpose of catching up on TV. I used this app on the stock OS, so I know it works, but ever since installing CyanogenMod it's been troublesome. On first launch, it gave me a warning about my tablet "Missing some software components" (I didn't get this on the stock OS) and after acknowledging that message, it told me that rooted devices aren't supported and that I may experience some issues.
I removed the root using SuperSU complete uninstall, and now I don't get the root error, but still the missing components. I've tried searching around for some solutions, and other users have claimed that simply hiding their root fixes the problem, however I've tried this, too, and still no luck.
Is it possible to dual boot the stock OS and CyanogenMod - so that I could only use stock for apps that wont work on CG? Is it something to do with DRM? Is there another fix?
If anyone can help me resolve this it would make CyanogenMod the perfect OS for my tablet!
Thanks in advance...
I've got the exact same problem. Missing software components and it won't play anything. So annoying! I wanna know how to fix, I've also turned root off.
I doubt you can dual boot. The system partition isn't big enough is it?
