I dont understand quite why this is the case cause i was able to get lollipop on the device before and i had to relock the bootloader and it worked fine with the same files. Any help would be appreciated

Any luck?
Hey, looks like I'm having the same trouble that you are. Fails on all the same commands. I purchased an XT1063 online running 4.4.4 and its boot loader was unlocked and I'm guessing thats why I cannot do OTA updates to Lollipop. Trying to set it back to stock but I'm not sure why it fails like this. Did you find a resolution?
Thanks!

You don't need locked bootloader for OTA.
And just to make it perfectly clear: You don't need to lock your bootlader to receive OTA.
Redundancy is very important: you will receive OTA with unlocked bootloader.
Who came up with the idea that the bootloader has to be locked? It is not true! Period.

Thanks, I appreciate your reply. I just got this new phone which is running 4.4.4 KXB21.85-17 (21.11.17.titan.retuglb.retuglb.en.us) and noticed under SYSTEM in Settings that it doesn't have a software update option like my old 1st gen Moto G did. It said the bootloader was unlocked at startup so my thought was that could be having an effect. I verified that it is not rooted, so I'm not sure what could be hiding this option unless it has some sort of custom software installed. It was sold as unlocked but I don't know if that makes a difference. Sorry, this is only my second android device. Any thoughts are appreciated!

You will find it in Settings>About phone.

Wow! I feel like a fool now. Thank you so much! I really appreciate your advice, it sure is there. Unfortunately, it says I don't have a lollipop update just yet, but at least I'm not crazy! Thanks again!

Don't! [emoji4]
And please don't take my rant about the locked bootloader personal. But this assumption is everywhere in this forum. I'm just a little annoyed about that.

No personal offense taken! I appreciate the time you took to answer me. I understand how youd feel there. Circulating good information is pretty important. I'm definitely eager to learn more.

What version of TWRP are you running? Some of the older ones aren't supported anymore and have trouble flashing on the Moto G 2014. You should be using v2.8.5.0

It looks like the partition tables have been completely removed because the "failed to write primary gpt is a Linux error". Since none of the commands will access the partitions, I would guess the partitions need to be rebuilt. I don't have a clue how to do that on a mobile though.

(bold in the quote added by me for emphasis)
YOU CAN NOT DOWNGRADE!!! It has been warned many times that you can not downgrade due to GPT.BIN and MOTOBOOT.IMG.
The only time it was safe was downgrading from 4.4 to 4.2.2. w/Camera Update OTA as part of the SlapMyMoto/MotoWpNoMo process for those with LOCKED bootloaders,
Based on the file name you are using (from your 2nd post), you are trying to flash the ORIGINAL SHIPPING 4.2.2 ROM which does cause a brick.
Now, based your two posts, It appears your phone is an XT1058 from Rogers Canada. Is that correct? or are you just trying to flash the Rogers Canada rom?
(If your phone really is an XT1058 from Rogers)... At this point, there are two options.
1. If you can get the phone to boot into fastboot mode, Download the 4.4.4 SBF for Rogers Canada (RCI) from -> http://www.filefactory.com/folder/dd05c058d3ff8dbe/?sort=created&order=DESC&show=100&page=1 . (NOTE: If your phone is NOT a Rogers XT1058, then download the newst SBF for your phone's carrier and model!) and use the Requirements and Option 5 from -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/MotoX-ReturnToStock.html and hope it works. If it works, it will flash you to stock 4.4.4. At that point, you can try to re-unlock the bootloader. And never think about flashing any other older ROM again!
2. If you can't get into Fastboot mode to flash, Go to -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/how-to-resurrecting-bricked-moto-x-t2629057 for help.
Thanks KidJoe
You save me !!!!! thanks so much for your help !!!!! :good::good::good::good:

The stock recovery work fine sorry, thank you for your help

Can´t install stock firmware or leave fastboot.

Hello,
last Christmas I bought two Moto G 2014 and they were working fine until Friday.
One has "died", or so it seems. It was showing the logo of android with red triangle, something usual. I tried to do a wipe / factory reset, but it´s impossible because I can´t get past the fastboot screen. If I click on "Factory" the screen turns black and I can´t do nothing, only hard reset and back to fastboot screen again.
I tried to re-install the firmware so many times and following other posts on the forum, but there is no way. All FAILED, as you can see here:

My phone model is:
22.21.28.titan_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03
I´ve tried different firmware versions (always XT1068), but same problems.
And besides, I can not activate the "debug mode" because I can´t pass the fastboot screen.
I have Windows 8 64 bits, tried in different USB ports and in a computer with XP too.
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance.
The model is XT1068, Retaildsds.

Do you mean it´s an outdated version or something similar?
Or drivers? :/ I think I have all of them.
My bootloader is 48.82
I´ve tried with a computer with Windows XP, but the same errors again
I´ll try with a W7 computer...
I'm really sorry I didn't finish my previous post,
I think it's a dead nand, is it your bootloader unlocked?
That might prevent you from installing any firmware I'm really not an expert just trying to help a little
Well I used the script on win 7 .. Worked fine for me .. Give it a try on win 7

I think i bricked my Moto G5S PLUS

Okay, the thing is: Yesterday i tried to root my Moto G5S PLUS so i noticed that i needed to flash the phone but i forgot to select the option of unlock bootloader in the developer options (i think this is a step im not pretty sure yet) and i used this firmware version:
>XT1681-XT1683_POTTER_BRASIL_LATAM_MEXICO_NPN25.137-15_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
so then i used the command promt with fastboot and my phone rebooted but it's still locked at the Motorola logo and then it says "erasing" and that's it.
Did i brick my phone? What should i do?
(Sorry for my bad english )

That's not for the g5s plus, potter is g5 (if I remember correctly).
G5s plus is Sanders. Get the correct firmware and flash it.
You gotta pay attention sometimes.

This is a relatively new device. It it gets popular you'll see more for it - hopefully.
You flash it same way you did the other firmware. In the zip is an xml file with the commands (can't remember the name) but you'll see it. Run each one. That's it.

Use "fastboot getvar all" to check current firmware of your phone, then proceed to download correct firmware and flash.
If you don't get what to do,
Post getvar result here, don't forget to remove IMEI and private stuff from result before posting..

[HELP] Fastboot flash Commands Not Working..! Phone wont boot..!

Okay. I have this titan device of my friend which always boots to fastboot mode with the below message
Fastboot Reason UTAG "flashfail" configured as fastboot
When I connect USB and key in fastboot devices command it does show up.
Code:
C:\Martin's Storage Space\Softwares\Moto G2 Stable OS\Stock>fastboot devices
ZX1D647QP3 fastboot
I somehow managed to get oem_unlock_data and I managed to unlock the bootloader.
I tried to flash the Stock Rom (Marshmallow) and the problem arises here with all commands failing.
Not even a single command gets succeeded.
Including a few error messages.

Please advise as to what can be done.
Looking forward for your support. Thanks in advance.
PS: I am not sure if USB Debugging is turned on in the device because this phone wasn't tweaked much by my friend.
Can someone help please? Absolutely no luck.
Probably wrong ADB-version. Go back to firmware following
this manual
If it's a non functioning ADB/fastboot version I recommend to use
Mini_ADB_&_Fastboot_v1.1.5.:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261610127
or if this one produces errors too
minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4.3_setup.exe:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/10NEzpxKpYWfq-HdK42ctwoEnCg-BfsRQ/view?usp=drivesdk
Install it in the root of C: not in programs or other folders, windows may deny needed rights than.
All recommended drivers installed?
Correct firmware?
