startup sound won't come back after disabled with wanam - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

I have the AT&T S5 SM-G900A. I used wanam to disable the bootup sound, but now trying to reactivate it. I verified that "PowerOn.ogg" is in system/media/audio/ui, has the correct permissions, and plays just fine from there. I tried resetting wanam to factory, uninstalling it, and clearing dalvik cache. Nothing seems to get this startup sound to play on boot again. Any ideas?

Fixed - system volume was all the way down....oops.

Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped.

I've just bought a Nexus 6P, updated to latest build (MHC19l), unlocked, installed TWRP 3.0.0.1 and rooted through Nexus Root Toolkit, then installed ElementalX kernel 1.15. Everything was fine. Then I flashed xposed-v80-sdk23-arm64.zip and installed some modules. From that time, Contacts app stopped working saying "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped." at launch. Same goes for Google Now Launcher app. This happens even with all modules disabled. I tried wiping art/cache, and deleting app's data, but it didn't help. If I uninstall xposed flashing the uninstaller zip, Contacts and Google Now Launcher work just fine. Reinstalling xposed and wiping art/cache (modules installed, but disabled) brings back the problem. Another thing I noticed is the embedded battery percentage not showing after boot when xposed is installed, while it shows correctly when xposed is not installed (I keep it enabled in the System UI Tuner menu in the system settings).
Does anybody have any idea what's wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Stuck on Boot: System UI has stopped Working

Hi all,
once my S5 mini boots up, it shows "System UI has stopped Working" and shows only my wallpaper. Power button is still working (i.e. shutdown menu appears), home button turns on display, anything else doesn't work.
Here is what I tried without success:
- remove SIM/SD
- go to airplane mode (possible from the menu when holding down power)
- Boot into "safe mode"
- Wipe cache in recovery mode
- use Kies (and Lite) to copy/reset (not working..)
- use Smart Switch to copy data to another phone
What seems to be the problem is the "Google App", according to various posts; e.g. [1, 2, ...]. But I cannot access settings and disable the app.
Is there any way to activate adb without being able to grant permissions from the phone and use it to remove the app? Any other ways to uninstall/reset this particular app?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
yyy
Alright, it didn't leave me alone
I managed to get my files by flashing TWRP into recovery and getting contacts2.db (and everything else I needed) with adb pull.
Even wiping the Dalvik / ART Cache and the Cache from TWRP had no effect on the hangup. Even bute-deleting the searchbar-app didnt do nothing.
Godspeed to everyone with the same problem.

[HELP] Xposed installed but not active on Oreo

I'm sorry for my poor English..:crying:
This problem has been questioned a lot but I still can't find an answer suitable for me.
I upgraded my LineageOS 14.1 to 15.1 yestdoday with wiping system, cache and dalvik cache, and data not wiped. And install magisk xposed 90.2, but it said 'framework installed but not active'.
I tried reboot (not soft reboot) my phone, then every thing keeps FC.
After a soft reboot, every thing seems to work fine, and Xposed Installer said framework is active. But some modules said 'module not active' while others work perfectly.
Modules not work: QXposed (for QQ), WeXposed (for WeChat), FingerprintPay (for payment apps)
Modules work: Xposed Edge, Android Phone Vibrator, Greenify, InstantFaceUnlock, etc.
Why I got this problem?
In a word, xposed doesn't work after a reboot (via app or power button), but works after a soft reboot. And modules that target for apps (not for system) don't work.
Thx very much!

Bugs after updating to Mag17.1

After updating to Magisk 17.1, when I install a new module or update an existing module, it installs successfully but after rebooting all the apps changes to default system apps, and default setting. Again i reboot, then everything comes back except that xposed framework gets deactivated along with all its modules(like gravity box etc.) then i again reboot to activate it, then again reboot to activate its modules. Thus the complete process involves 4-5 reboots to function everything back to normal. This didn't happened before. I'm using Lenovo K8 note, Android O(8.0). Any solution??

Problem after uninstll riru core & Edexposed

Yesterday I decide to uninstall riru-core and Edexposed to see if in this way my banking app will work, but after that the system reboot and it stay stuck on the boot sequence.
I manage to start in safe mode but I don't have any icon.
I thought it was a problem of magisk so I reflashed the boot image but after it the system restarted but again no home screen, many of the apps works if I call them through Hey Google, but not all.
So I did a complete reinstall of the system with HuRupdater but again no icon.
I think that unistalling riru-core changed something in the launcher of my Huawei phone, does somebody know what can have changed.
I have a P10 lite with magisk 20.4.
Reapplying Magisk and the two riru modules I have unistalled changes nothing.
Even if the phone is connected on the line and can receive message on WhatsApp when on wi-fi if I try to call the telephone doesn't ring and who is calling receive the free tone.
