[Q] Lolipop on Gs5 mini ...Is it real or some fake ? - Galaxy S5 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
look what I found on the net.....What do you thing about ?
Code:
http://www.johnpinem.com/upgradeupdate-galaxy-s5-mini-duos-to-5-0-lollipop/

Fake, ROM size 128MB? for S5 it was like 1,5GB.
Comments are just image, same for every page... you are not able to add any other comments look at this page http://www.johnpinem.com/category/5-0-lollipop/, every device on the market is able to upgrade to lollipop according to their special ROM.
I wouldn't even download it as it is probably just some virus.

Been there, seen that
You may want to read my post on the subject (Nov, 23):

If you are thinking about an official rom don't worry it will be all over internet.
But if you want now you can have a look on the Development section.
Yesterday if I'm not wrong they change the date for release official release for the Q2 2012.

There's a sticky thread as well in the General forum for ICS-related things. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1490986
Sorry I forgot to say.
Yes, I'm looking for official release.
Also follow Sammobile here:

Thanks guys for answers!
look in the delevopement section every day, when you see 10 posts with "REAL ICS NOW" you know its been released

Haha, good idea!
Another thing you can do is follow the Swedish android community Swedroid. They will for sure write when ICS comes for the Note.

[Q] (test) ICS Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830I

Hey there,
Just found a new rom and I need someone to test it please
wwwdotandroiddotgs/update-galaxy-ace-ics-mindcr
(Replace Dot with a .:laugh::laugh
Thank you
Sorry I don't think this is new, its an older version of this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1925850
Unfortunately its not ICS based either as your link suggests, its stock based with a theme applied to make it look like ICS as the link actually contradicts itself to say.

Ativ 3 ? link to that phone please.
I would go for Donut , and when you hacked the "bios !!! " you are almost there.
so your steps to do:
hack IPL bootloader.
hack sbl1.
hack sbl2.
hack sbl3.
hack UEFI.
make drivers for the whole OS.
build a rom.
boot android.
have fun and please post here again when you have it booted

Unfortunately at this time, installing another OS on the phones other than what is already there. I'm a little confused with the ATIV 3 device. If you're speaking about the ATIV Tab 3 and not the ATIV S Windows Phone, then this is the wrong forum location.
If you can reply back with some clarification, I'll be glad to help.
Yes, im sorry i cannot quote i m on my phone, but as you said is the ativ tab 3
here you can see it
This one comes with w8 preinstalled but i ... hate ... windows 8. And i wanted an alternative to this software on a tablet that has a really good hardware and a lot of memory and hdd to spare, iknow that dual booting is possible but apparently only with androidx86, thank you for your answers
OK, that's a moderately-cool looking product, but there's a reason we hadn't heard about it here:
This is the Windows Phone 8 forum. That is not a phone!
The general Win8 forum is over here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-8-rt/general

New to Root

Hello XDA forum. My name is Chris. Not new to smartphone scene, but farely new to rooting. I have an Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which l want to revive to use as a second screen and lm more into foldable phones. I dont like notches or holes on the screen, so l wud like that everyone wud do the phones that ZTE does. But hey.. Kapitalizm.
Im gratefull to have this access to many of the expert developers on the web.
I have been having problem with flashing Oreo build onto Tab 2 10.1 3G (Europe unlocked). Can I ask questions directly into post ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-aosp-8-1-oreo-unlegacy-android-unofficial.4323203/ ) or I have to make a separate question in ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/general-questions-and-answers.456/ ). I did follow ALL instuctions, searched the forum for specific problem, searched and watched youtube videos, but didnt find any solution. Pictures attached

Hi Chris and welcome to XDA!

Hello, new here and I want to know how to properly ask a question on the forms

Hello, as the title says, I am trying to ask a question so if you could direct me to where I should go that would be helpful

It depends on what the question is or relates to. What is your question?

"The question is human; the answer, all too human. " from Paul Valery - French writer and poet
For the sake of information, it's a good idea to post a question, but it's even better to ask the question in the post and not in the title.
The title should be precise and concise, and it will be perfect for your next post.
Welcome aboard and have a nice day.

Thank you I actually managed to unbrick my redmi 9a phone today, which was the original question I was trying to ask, I am trying to install a custom rom (lineageos) and I tried so many unofficial twrp images until one of them got stuck in the logo screen and I couldn't go to the fastboot screen or the regular os
now that I figured out how to unbrick the device I would like to ask if there is a way to install a custom rom without twrp as I can't seem to get a version that works (the closest I have got is the twrp menu but the touch screen doesn't work)
