Update 4.1 emui

Anyone knows releases emui 4.1 for p8 lite

I would hope for emui 5 with android 7 nougat,I dont feel like emui 4.1 will make such a difference.

Sources say that this will be released in Q1 or Q2 2017 but we dont know whether it is emui 4.1 or 5.

It had some new cool features, now im on sakoban's rom because i bricked my phone while i was on 4.1, i had only old backup of sokoban's

Let's hope so

should be as System A, like the honor 8 pro, mate 9 and mate 10 pro, but I can't confirm it until see the oreo update for the p8 lite 2017 since will get it and test treble project on my device !
the honor 9 lite have same hi6250 of p8 ite 2017 but with newer kernel

phh's 8.0 gsi works as a daily driver. check it out in the treble forum. i used the version a-only rooted with gapps. the overlay for adaptive brightness, night mode and ambient display works as well. cant install the ported huawei camera since /system is full. maybe i try a resize.
one thing to note: it took me several atempts of reflashing and factory resetting to get it working. working means no acore or phone fc every 2 secs during setup. after some attempts it just worked. no problem for 3 days so far.
pure aosp goodness without emui but with substratum on a 210€ phone yay.

substratum mods used: subtweaks (for 4 column quick settings) and aospUI Black (paid, makes almost everything black with accent color select)

What about twrp for honor 9 lite

Even I'm waiting for the same man. No equilizer, 3rd party equilizer doesn't work, fast battery drainage, completely ****ed up dude ?

use this one. lineage OS 15.1 (android 8.1) working flawlessly on the hobor 9 lite. except the camera. if you want there is the ported huawei cam in the treble forums with instrucztions how to get it to work.

I have flashed with LineageOS to check, works good but I miss some functionality and want to go back to stock.
Can I just reset/wpie via bootloader and stock rom should be downloaded automatically ?

There is no Stock ROM yet. Ich guess you have to wait until it is available...

what about portrait mode, because gcam doesn't work, so we need a port of emui camera

Little hard, that the BL cannot be opening easy, Can not use everyone unofficial method,the dc_unlocker... and why need custom rom?... custom rom won't support ai ability...
