XT1095 PURE issues with Lollipop (.11) and MMS - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am having issues with MMS on my phone. I recently switched from AT&T to T-Mobile and I am using my Pure Edition Moto X 2014.
I believe I have the APNs setup properly in settings:
Name: T-Mobile LTE
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
Proxy:
Port:
Username:
Password:
Server:
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com.mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy:
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication Type:
APN Type: none (Internet+MMS results in no data)
APN Protocol: IPv6
APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
Data, calls, SMS all work great whether or not I am on Wifi or Mobile Data. My issue comes when I am on Wifi and try to send or receive an MMS, the phone seems to cut off mobile data when I am on Wifi, so I am unable to send or receive an MMS unless I turn off Wifi

I appreciate you basically posting the same APN. I am trying to track down why the phone is not turning on mobile data to send and receive MMS. It will just queue the message til when I turn off Wifi.

Your MCC and MNC are different the what I posted. Could that be what is doing it?

I check and they were correct on the phone, I just mistyped them here in the thread.

No data / MMS (can get data to work but not both)

I was unable to get data & MMS to work at first. Been playing around with the APN settings. I can get data to work with quite a few different APN settings but can only get MMS to work with one and cannot get both to work at the same time.
Any help is greatly appreciated...!!!

tried this one too - works for data but no MMS -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1338109
I'm in the same boat. Yesterday my mobile data stopped working. Couldn't send/recieve texts... thought everyone hated me for like 5 minutes before I figured it out hahaha. Gonna call up AT&T and yell at them
Turns out AT&T accidently removed my MMS and Data plan without any authorization. Got it restored and all the problems are solved!
camit34 I had that problem when I first got my vivid. Had to be escalated to tier 2 support and they finally sent some kind of reboot/update/something that fixed it. I wish I knew what they did to tell you, but she had tried multiple things and we don't know which one it was. Good luck.

[Q] best APN setting for AT&T Nexus One?

Hi, I've had mediocre-to-lousy data on AT&T with my Nexus One for years, and I just now saw that there's a newer and (it seems) faster APN for HSPDA data which I see people using on the Atrix, GS2, and Galaxy Nexus:
Name: AT&T US HSDPA
APN: phone
Proxy: <not set>
Port: <not set>
Username: <not set>
Password: <not set>
Server: <not set>
MMSC: <not set>
MMS Proxy: <not set>
MMS Port: <not set>
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: <not set>
APN type: default,supl,agps,fota,dun
This APN setting doesn't work for me on my Nexus One: the phone just can't connect to data at all. Does this not work on the Nexus One because it doesn't support HSPA+ data? Or is it just that I need to ask AT&T to allow HSPA+ data (and thus this APN) on my account? And would this setting make any difference on the Nexus One anyway, given that it doesn't support HSPA+ data?
Thanks! I'm confused on this and any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Alan

Apn settings

I know there is a thread around about this but a few nights ago i flashed the V20c and put the apn settings in and had the best data ive had.
well i was messing around with roms and had to flash the v20c again well now after putting the apn in again i get now MMS and slow data? any ideas
Geez everything worked flawlessly when i first flash v20c. MMS data. now im using the same damn settings and its crap!
People double and triple wipe factory settings sometimes. Ive always only ever done it once but after about 4 flashes of V20c and V20b I've noticed tons of weird issues each time. It's probably cause I didn't do muliple wipes between them and stuff carried over. That would be my suggestion to you. Here are the settings everyone else is using.
Name: AT&T
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: leave blank
Port: leave blank
Username:[email protected]
Password:CINGULAR1
Server: leave blank
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC:310
MNC:410
APN Type: leave blank
I however didn't have much luck with those settings. Seems like my baseband crashed more often or I had MMS issues. So I copied the settings from my wifes LG Thrill. This is what I'm using with no problems (maybe 1 baseband crash a day a opposed to 5)
Notice, 2 seperate APNs, one is selectable as carrier service, the other just acts for MMS and other stuff.
Name: MEdia Net
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: wireless.cingular.com (hers uses this, I've removed it with no issues, in fact I had some internet browsing issues when it was set)
Port: 80 (same here, this appears to be unnecessary.

These work best for me.. no web or mms issues..
LG thrill v20c baseband with thiaz 2.5
That's all I got to say bout that...
I really don't care what settings I put in, I cannot send or receive mms. I have read a million of these posts, and not a single one works. For internet data I use-
Name: ATT HSDPA
APNhone
Data works great. But for mms, I am using the exact settings in the above post and nothing. I have tried everything I can read on it and to no avail. When I put my sim in my Skyrocket, I receive pics just fine, so I know it is not an account issue. Just cant seem to get this thing to work correctly.
