So after following this link: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-root-your-samsung-galaxy-s3/ I have a bricked device.
No matter what I do, Odin seems to fail. This is what I think caused the problem in the first place. Also there is the possibility that the guide is way out of date.
So I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to proceed? The device isnt mine and this isnt my first time rooting a device. I just have never bricked anything before.
Here is the log from ODIN from recreating the process in the link above

Whats wrong? why i can't install original rom?
Please upload bootloader, CSC, Phone, PDA files stock rom.
Or upload P7300ZSKK2_P7300ZZHKK2_TGY.zip
Why do you want this one specifically??
It seems your file is corrupted, so the best solution is to download the latest Odin firmware,
And so here is a link for the latest Samsung firmware for P7300:
SAMMobile.com-GT-P7300-XFV-P7300XXLQJ-P7300XFVLP4.zip - 485.49 MB
Download extract and flash through Odin and enjoy

Hi,
I recently upgraded my firmware to N910TTMB2EPG2. Most of the custom roms out here are on N910TTMB2DOK2 or N910TTMB1COG2. How do I downgrade my firmware to N910TTMB2DOK2 or N910TTMB1COG2?
After downloading the firmwares, when I try to flash it using ODIN I get below error messages.

I'm having the same problem! Did you ever figure it out?
I don't think you can downgrade from either EPG2 or EPJ2 mate.

You can't downgrad bootloader so it's not possible unfortunately.
Oh well... Pie is more secure and runs reasonably well once optimized. This N10+ in my hand is running on it. Current load will be 2 yo in June, still fast, stable with minimal maintenance.
I use Package Disabler Pro to disable about 75 apks to tone it down and Google play Services, Playstore are normally disabled unless needed. Google backup Transport, Framework, Firebase and all feedback are always disabled.
Karma Firewall is helpful in finding the hogs, stopping Playstore lincensing nonsense and locking down the phone.
Be glad it's not Android 11... 12 is fubar.
