[Q] help with gamerz rom

hello I am a new user here so i couldnt ask for help in the development section . i have to do it here in the Q& A section
I was trying to install gamerz rom 7.0.1
I made all steps true . 1- installed jvu
2- semaphore kernel
after doing that when i go to recovery and after doing wipe , when i click on choose zip from sd card the screen flashes and nothing happen , it wrotes no file to flash ( note : when i click on choose zip from sd card without doing wipe first it shows me the flashable zips )
anyway when i flash the rom i have to reboot manually and the phone go to the first boot screen and it remains there( not the animated one ) ( the first one which contains GALAXY S GT-i9000 Samsung )
I appreciate any help
excuse me for my bad english

yes i did a wipe data + wipe cache + wipe dalvik and then i click install zip from sd card ---> choose zip from sd card but nothing happened . it didnt show me any file to flash , so i rebooted into recovery and directly(without doing a wipe ) clicked on install zip from sd card ---> choose zip from sd card --- > i choosed gamerz rom 7.0.1 flashed it succesfuly ( install from sd card complete ) , when it finished i rebooted and the phone remains on the first Boot screen ( the first one which is not animated , where it's wrote GALAXY S GT-i9000 samsung )
note : this is happening with all jvu custom roms ( ario rom ) not only gamerz rom

which kernel can i falsh with jvu ? ???
i tried midnight kernel ... get the same result ,, stuck on boot screen
here, first step is root your phone again,
download the XXXJVU zip file
then download semaphore kernel
use odin3
do with the XXXJVU step (download mode)
after that
flash the semaphore kernel (download mode)
after that your phone will startup.
if there any problems like asking for a pin password, just type any password until you go with recovery mode, then wait for it.
then there you can install the gamerzrom using recovery mode
any gamerzrom version will do.
wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache partition, wipe data factory reset
then install zip from sd card
choose zip from sd card
then select the gamerzrom
then yes, after that it will install the gamerzrom
if any problem occurs, like there was a problem when you're transferring the gamerzrom zip from your pc to the sd card(device). like it was canceled. then try to open it on your computer, when it says some problem, try to move it again, or maybe there was a problem when you download the zip.
it looks like the zip file is corrupted, try maybe to redownload it

[Q] clean install of Asylum CM10.2

very shamed for the noob question.
On my GT-N7000 I have an old Paranoid Utacka 2.57.6
I would like to go on Asylum CM10.2, but performing a very clean install, also formatting internal SDcard
So I Would like to proceed with.
CLW recovery
wipe cache
wipe dalvik
factory reset
format system
format SDcard
but I see in the Asylum CM10.2 showcase page this statement ...
If coming from any other safe kernel except Philz older than v3.99:
1. Copy Gapps and Asylum CM10.2 Zips to your internal SDCard
2. Boot into Recovery
3. Wipe data and dalvik cache
3. Flash Asylum CM10.2 zip from internal SDCard
4. Flash Gapps zip from internal SDCard
7. Reboob
does it means that I'm not permitted to copy Rom and Gapps on my external SD card, and so I'm not permitted to format the internal one ???
thank you in advance.

Why do you want to format your internal memory?
You can flash from external SD too, but some older recoveries have issues with that... But it should be fine.
Anyhow if youre concerned, then Copy the ROM to your drive and after install reboot to recovery and format your SD cards.
I would add format system, data, cache, preload to your list.
Formatting sd and emmc takes caution, one of those two is your external card, so take that out before you format it.
Make sure you have the cm10.2 and gapps on the external card though so you can flash it.
happy flashing.
ps read cm10.2 thread and keep an eye on it as there were some serious bugs like no recovery included on 24th and wakelock issue on 28th. Its not stable yet. But fun to use.
pss its cwm
psss have fun

First of all you have to install TWRP (it is recommended by the Dev.).
Make a clean install of cm11.
Download the proper gapps (for 4.4.4) from devs. website and install them.
Don't forget to clear dalvik cache and cache at the end.
ohh...the gapps i installed was for 4.4.3...

I have the same model with you and the twrp is working very well. To install it do this :
1) Download the twrp recovery and put it on your SD
2) Reboot to cwm recovery
3) Go back to main menu and select install zip from SD card
4) Select Choose zip from internal sd (or if it is on external SD press choose zip from external SD)
5) Click on the twrp recovery zip file and let it do the installation.
6) Choose wipe dalvik & wipe Cache
7) Go back to main menu and press reboot to recovery.
well...its a miracle! everything work...

Lollipop Coderom 5.1.1: how to flash coorectly?

I would like to install Rom Lollipop Coderom 5.1.1.
I rooted my I9000 and installed CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVR-v4.1-CWM3RFS with CWM.
I saved the EFS folder and made the save data with Titanium and Nandroid CWM
I read all the posts i XA regardless Coderom 5.1.1 and I have some doubts before starting:
1 - it is better to install TWRP before or leave if CWM and if TWRP what is the procedure?
2 - I can switch to Lollipop from Gingerbread or before I go to JB or Kitkat
3 - the procedure for full flash is this :
a) copy the necessary files to SD (ROM and Gapps) and x ext card for security
b) access to Recovery
c) perform a full wipe / factory reset
d) access to CWR and flash ROM and Gapps
e) make Wipe Dalvik cache and wipe cache
f) reboot.
I also read to change the file system.
If I must do as you do and how the operation is otherwise unknown in the previous procedure
