You should be fine, I think its a rom and kernel combo problem. I had it while using viperone and a kernel (either elemental or bulletproof) i cannot remember which one. It would make the settings screen completely unusable as I couldn't see anything. It went away after flashing stock I have not had it again :good:

By reading the stickys.
From me to you.
For the love of God, DO NOT TOUCH THE PHONE UNTIL IT'S DONE!
This is a low level firmware flashing operation initiated by the primary/secondary bootloader ... interrupt it and you risk bricking your phone.

[Q] Screen clipping, PAC nightly 0714

I have searched a bit, but since I am not at home currently I don't want to waste all of my bandwidth in searcginf .
So I flashed the PAC nightly 0714 ROM I had the custom PAC 0708 before. I did a full clean install wiping everything, but I still get screen clipping if I activate phablet or recommended mode. Here's a screenshot:

}
I read somewhere that I should reset hybrid settings and I did that and rebooted but that only activated stock ui mode and trying to change back to phablet or recommended still clips the screen even after rebooting.
I didn't have this problem in 0708.
I'm sorry if there is any errors in either my grammar or the post formatting, I'm typing this on my phone and it's pretty late here.

The method may be able to solve TX random reboot after have jb

My TX performs well on ICS 4.0
But random reboot happens after I've upgraded the jb(ALL STOCK JB ROM 4.1-4.3) .It will randomly reboot in a short time, especially when I am playing music. I've tried many ways to solve it, but failed(wipe data , US , flashtool ).
I tried this software by accident and found that maybe it would solve my problem.
I set it this way and the prolem is fixed, and My device does not reboot this week

The app name Trickster MOD
I do not know why it can solve the problem of random reboots。but think it maybe useful for who have the same problem。

[Q] What is this new status bar icon in the 4.4.2/5.5 update?

It just showed up with the official rooted ROM, hadn't been there in the EclipticOne KitKat ROM I'd been running.

It tells you NFC is on. Its been there since I can remember. Maybe you just didn't have it on. Annoying little thing, isn't it?
Yeah, I've always had NFC on, I guess it was just always hidden... Thanks for the info!
This can be removed fairly easily if you're rooted. Tried it this morning and the icon is gone.

Reboot after bootup occuring after flashing latest .157

Sup,
so I installed this ROM: [XperiaZ1][4.4.4][ST Ultimate] |Version 3.0|Ultra Stamina Mode|Super- Vivid|4K Video|
and flashed .157 BAL FTF after it. Didn't wipe data. Phone reboots after about 3-7 seconds, no matter what i press/do.
Its not a problem for me to fix it, but i'd like to know whats causing it. So i got myself a logcat. googled the output and i have no real idea what to do. When i do a factory reset, the phone works fine.
