the iso feature is hard to port because nobody knows if the sensor in z3 is the same as in z1... z2 and z1 sensors are similar ...
but for fast charge, there are two kernel which support this feature:
Trinity Ultimate for z1
and doomkernel v22-new for z1
P.S. if you flash the right kernel, which is specificly for your device, it wont brick your device

You are not stupid if you learned something from this. We all learn on our mistakes. Nobody were born "smart"
And ask for help if you need it, it's better than to brick your phone

HARDWARE issue
it cant be ported because it is not supported by our camera , the Z3 camera's lens is wider which increases its ability to absrob more light which enables the 12800 option .
Yeah sure. Thanks.

Z1 and Z3 lenses are both f/2.0, so they are actually acquiring the same amount of light.
ISO on the other hand, is a characteristic of sensor.
Supposedly this allows up to 25600 on IMX220 xperias.

CM10 and CM11 have working miracast. But CM absolutly unusable on Xperia Z if you need camera. Camera quality is really crap.

No no no no! You can NEVER flash a kernel from a different device! The kernel is what tells the hardware and software how to talk to each other. How could it possibly work on a device with completely different hardware?
Go ahead and try if you don't mind bricking your device, because a brick is what will happen.

My Camera hangs and freezes. then reboot phone.. happens when chainging from Superior auto to manual. I flashed the tft file for Central Europe. This happens on both kitkat updates. I have unlocked BL
Not rooted now. Will try to restore using seus or try monx rom soon. or even AOSP roms

AOSP ROMS are fine as I tried them.
Even the Google camera app recently launched on Google play works well km Sony kitkat ROM.
The issue is with the Sony camera app. Sony needs to do something about it.

Strange, my camera will take one photo then freeze. Reboot is the only way to get it to respond again. An iPhone is looking more and more attractive given the problems my Z1 has.
As the title says, is this phone really worth buying? Or can this phone be comparable with iPhone 5? Well, since I already have an Android device which was Sammy Galaxy Mini, which I rooted in like one click on my PC. Well I read that for Xperia devices I need to unlock the bootloader, is that procedure hard or do I risk bricking the SP? And is flashing CWM/TWRP hard using Sonys "Flashtool" ? Well thanks to evryone who answers And btw. how much is CM11 buggy?
For the comparing part I can't say anything
But for CM 11, its not buggy and can be used as a daily driver

Yeah
It's easy to unlock your boot loader, but you do not need to do it to get root, there are also recoveries for locked boot loaders. When you unlock your boot loader you lose the TA partition which is needed by Bravia Engine and other things, so you should root and backup TA before unlocking the boot loader.

Ok, so if I unlock the bootloader, I'll lose BE2 engine and some other stuff but i can't flash any custom roms nor edit /system files, am I right? And btw. nobody knows if the SP can be comparable with the iPhone? And also, did anyone tried Viper4Android? I don't know if it's conflicting w/ xLoud

I saw a comparison video between iPhone 5 and sp but that only shows the boot up time: the sp booted up a few milliseconds later than the iPhone 5 and that was back when the xsp was released and still on 4.1 and I don't know how it will stack up against the iPhone with android 4.3/custom ROMs

Well, my actual thing, i'm looking at the XSP is because I already own the iPhone 5 but I can't use it much because my parents ( they always worriying about I would be silly and I would lose my phone so I can't use it any other time since they are not at home ) So I'm considering because in Czech there is a discount for the XSP and my parents said that I could ( if I leave the iPhone 5 for my mother ) use the XSP any time I want. Should I go for it? And btw. why can't I found the CM11 for the XSP on FXP site..? (XSP is "Huaishan" or?)

Yeah but how about the sound? For some devices i need to hold down the answer button to hear the sound normally. (As for my 2nd Android device Prestigio one) Ptherwise I would hear a sound diff and the music would be really muted (like the singers voice was like cracking his voice in puberty)

I think the most important problem for the z1 developments section is a lot of z1's owner have locked bootloader, this is why a lot of people have stock roms ( or stock kernel based) and they dont use custom room. I have locked bootloader, with status allowed NO and i'm having a lot of problems for unlock it.

I know that the CM based is smaller and smoother but I think our Z1 has enough resources to spend for some nice prestige whit stock rom! and in another hand whit stock rom you can answer the next call when your phone ringing for sure!
