I don't think xposed is ready for lollipop yet because of art but would the build.prop mod to set 720p fix the issue?
Code:
persist.tegra.hdmi.resolution 720p
I could be wrong but I think the ouya does 1080p by default?
Not displaying fullscreen, tried the persist build prop method without success. Also no audio output. Will try diff tv tomorrow and report fimdings.

Same here on 720p TV.
This doesn't seem to be rooted, is that true? Also, is there a way to network ADB?
Who have problems with 720p and overscan:
UI Tuner (root needed):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bassel.uituner
Ui tuner will change from 720 to 1080 however only 1/3 of my screen is used. Tried other settings but screen will not scale to tv.
Also when i turn tv off and on i lose my ouya input completely and have to reboot device.
Will mess around with it and see if i can come up with anything.
Apart from the screen and sound the rom seems to be running extremely smooth and stable.
Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
I got the "format needs 5 args, got 2" error trying to flash the zip yesterday actually I think I need to take some assert shenanigans out of the updater-script for that
For 720p you need to edit kernel:
https://github.com/milaq/android_kernel_boxer8_ouya/commit/9626a15b5e4cea33aa026558630a5ce7cdb93d6c
Please give OUYA 720p by default Tegra 3 is too lazy for 1080p output. Also editing build.prop for 720p is only for TV info, try CPU-Z, XBMC or Nenamark 2 for displaying true resolution. Milaq CM 11 can be resize to 720p with apps from playstore. I'm using it and it's much better, in game there is huge fps boost.
I've edited Boot Animatiom for OUYA from Android L, I searched for bootanimation.zip in your build but there isn't. So you can use the one what I edit for OUYA, find it in my signature. Also I'd like to ask, can you make boot audio? Something like in here:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-mytouch-4g/69792-mod-how-unlock-your-boot-animation-audio.html
I tried on CM11 but it isn't working, would be awesome to start OUYA with boot audio sound like THX intro
Thanks

As far as i know this ROM doesn't support additional partitions on sdcard.

That wont work, rageagainstthecage was patched from Android 2.2.1 (this is 2.2.2) and up. As I said, use GingerBreak to root, or flash one of the su-x.x.x.x-efgh-signed.zip files (from here) in recovery. Then use BusyBox installer from the Market.
It worked for me :O

I've just realised, Rageagainstthecage didn't root your phone. Because this ROM is using custom kernel, adbd is running as root by default, so it would copy over the Superuser files anyway, because it is root shell.

Oh yeah Joe Stone's rom did that before he fixed it. It must be to do with codecs and video hardware acceleration.

Here is the kernel fix in the folder,
I didn't test the rom yet
Got it downloaded on the original link (before the new link was up) and got it installed with the kernel. I had to clear the caches as stated earlier because of the bootloop, but after that everything was great. Only problem is that 2 apps are giving me the "-24" error in the Google Play Store, so I guess that's the next thing to tackle with this ROM.
Thx I love this Rom great running perfectly!

After lots of hours (I accept donations) I did all the frames lost of the android L bootanimation, so now it goes at 60fps (it used to go at 30fps). The change is huge.
You have to install the zip with a free app like Boot Animations in the Play Store. Don't use recovery!
bootanimation.zip original 30fps (Thanks Google)

Status Update
Graphics are now stable, and we are using hwcomposer now instead of fbdev.
That is great. Wifi works... I am using the 3.0 kernel.. 3.4 would work as well... but for now I am staying on 3.0. Plus the backlight is better.
Working out orientation issues. I got half of it to be right..
SailFish OS 2.0 actually supports Landscape but it is not realeased yet.. And it will be running on the jolla tablet.
Instead of buying a jolla tablet.....
Orientation is working, so is Sound and Pulse through libhybris and droid-sinc instead of using the ucm files without pulse.. Which probably would not fly with sailfish without pulse...
I tried to use pulse with the ucm files, only seems to work without pulse and just alsa.. sure would like to know why, but oh well.. hybris works...
Orientation is in landscape.. kinda strange, I think it would be better in SFOS 2.0 which should be out soon. Had to edit a QML file.
Video Acceleration is now working
Sweet. So is audio.
Anyone want to play with it? I wasn't going to upload anything until SFOS 2.0 (where the orientation is actually right) But if someone wants to play, I will upload something.
No long winded posts for now. So don't except to see anything for about a month regarding Sail Fish 2.0

It downloads for a minute or so, then dies as "unsuccessful".
Can you upload to a mirror somewhere?
It works for me, except after installing zypper and rebooting it just gives me a black screen.

OK, got the files, flashed CM11, then Sailfish. Got the new boot menu entry, but after selecting it I get a "BOOT FAILED!" message. Tried several times, same result
I have it working again now, I wonder if we can fix keyboard issues with tweaking its qml files.

So as I haven't yet, thank you for this. I haven't used my tablet much since I lost my Nexus 7(2012) and gained my LG G3. But with Jolla Sailfish OS I've found new life. Really this is the perfect Linux based mobile OS. I just wish Ubuntu touch was this stable on here. I'm installing so many developer tools and porting my code like crazy! Again thank you!!!

Download :
bootanimation.zip
1080p : http://www.mediafire.com/file/0cx6eal1g56x8fc/bootanimation.zip
720p : http://www.mediafire.com/file/0sk5m85d51sksos/bootanimation.zip
1440p : http://www.mediafire.com/file/b5ybu6ks1da6s1r/bootanimation.zip
How to Install?
Download the Bootanimation.zip and copy it to your internal Sdcard.
Open a file Manager and grant it root access. (For es file explorer ,swipe from left and enable root explorer)
Copy the bootanimation file to /system/media/*here*
there would already be a bootanimation file you can either rename it to something else or overwrite it.
Change the permission to rw-r--r--
Done and Reboot.
Let me know what you guys think of the Bootanimation any Suggestions are welcome.
Please make a 1440p version

I dont have any other device to try so i want you guys to give it a go and let me know how it works! If you could record the playback and get it back on a 720p device it would be very helpfull.
I tested this on my Moto G4 plus

I dont get what you are trying to say. The both are basically the same, just the resolution is different... Are you talking about the framerate?

I have samsung note 3 sm n900 exynos version running unofficial cm 13.1. How to use this bootanimatio ?
ı love you oreo in market turkey
you was too quick... u made this just in 2 days.. I wish that google should accept this for android 8
nice
Awesome concept loved it:laugh::good:
please make 480x800 sizes master
For Redmi note 3 pro, which one should i download? is that 1080p?
Here's a flashable .zip file that you can place your bootanimation.zips inside of so people can flash it through TWRP. I use this for all the bootanimations I make. Just replace the bootanimation.zip that i have in /system/media/ with yours and then test it out. Hope this helps!

Also, I think the bootanimation would look better without your logo at the bottom of it. Especially if you're trying to go for the simplistic and minimalist look.
boot animation is so long upto 1 min ,can you reduce the time upto 20 sec ?
