This doesnt add up. I have less total space than the stuff that is using it.

Some space (about 2/3GB) is reserved by the system and cannot be used.
OK. Ta. So why is my apps space more than the total?

I suppose it's also counting the data from system apps.
I'm not entirely sure though, but you shouldn't worry about it.

Is that posssible?
I have about 20k messages on my phone and for some reason I can't find the heart to delete them, so I want to put them onto my computer.
What is the best way to go about doing this?
Any responses are much appreciated.
Thanks!

Yes......
is 768 MB RAM enough for many apps? i ask because i had bad experience with htc desire
second question....Does the screen break easily?
The space for apps is 4GB, the RAM is not what the apps are stored on. And 4GB is plenty. And I'm sure you could break it easy if your clumsy, but I'm 16 and drop mine all the time and It's been fine, so as long as you take care.

Seems that there is no more free space on your /system partition left. Delete some system apps which you don't use, for example Google Play Books or other bloatware.
Hi all,
I have 1.4GB of data to use per month.
Android OS is consuming half of my data usage.
How can I avoid this high data usage?

No. Neither Android nor Photos.
hello, after the update to MIUI 14 I noticed how much storage space is actually occupied for the other system data. 54GB with the system together over 65GB. I want to delete them but haven't found a way yet.

Looks like something did go completely wrong, hu? Backup made + deep format already done, and flashed clean over? Thats imo. the only way w/o open bootloader.
