Don't buy a xt1097 phone - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The ATT xt1097 phone is full of bloatware!! Don't buy one of these unless you want to wait a year to be able to unlock the bootloader and get rid of all these apps that require monthly payments.

I have it too, it is the brazilian retail model (mine has no carrier branding obviously).

I have the XT1097 and is very clean... Doesn't come with any bloat ware I guess it all depends from which company you buy it.

If you want to sell it, why don't you use the market place? Or eBay?

Bootloader unlocked? Only if you have the Developer Edition for Verizon.
As for root. Yes, see the thread for SlapMyMoto in the developer section.

[Q] How to backup EFS?

I've searched in my phone through root explorer but I didn't find the folder/partition of EFS, I want to make a backup of it if I mess trying to upgrade my phone to 4.4.2
Thanks.
That's Samsung.

So only Samsung phones have that problem? Or just EFS?

Don't know if only Samsung has it...tho I think they are, but the Moto X doesn't have it anyway.

I really hope people are getting happy about how HTC is handling updates now-a-days. Let's see Samsung, LG, or even Motorola try and keep up with these updates. My only gripe now is Sprint's terrible service in the Central Florida area.
I like the fact so many people can actually identify my HTC One. I guess those TV spots have done the trick.
Sprint still sucks (4gLTE) in Portland (Oregon) too. Wish they'd get their act together. At least 3g is solid. They need to give me a reason to stay with them for the Spark rollout/upgrade.

[Q] My Verizon Mobile for Nexus 6

It seems Verizon makes different versions of the My Verizon Mobile app for different phones. Since I'm running a Play Store-purchased Nexus 6 on Verizon, when I look into the Play Store, the version of My Verizon Mobile seems to be the one that was used with my old Galaxy Nexus (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vzw.hss.myverizonged&hl=en). So for people who have Verizon-purchased Nexus 6s, could you tell me which version of the My Verizon Mobile app is installed on your devices? And if possible, could you post the APK?
No my Verizon app came preinstalled on my nexus from Verizon.. Had to download it..
This is what I get when I search for it
