Did you ever get a Diagram of the positive and negative? I got one of the 5 leg pads was burnt off and the customer needs the information off the phone. Soldering a new charge port will not get the device to charge. So thats out the window. The only option now is to get a already charged battery OR if I could find the positive and negative I could charge the battery externally and get the device to power on to retrieve information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where do I find parts for my TILT/8925!!

anyone selling a TILT broken. I just need the USB part for the phone. Mine is slightly bent and I think its the culprit of all my problems. In the meantime I have to find a place that sells a charger to charge my battery that's the only way I'll be able to use my phone. Can anyone help please this phone is my life.
i have an old razr v3. can i take the USB from there and solder that to my phone. I need this fixed asap. Any help would be appreciated.

I need some assistance (Battery Problems)

I'll start from the top, I broke my phone's screen so I had it replaced by HTC. I shipped the phone (without a battery) to HTC like they wanted and got a new phone back. I installed "HD_III_BlackStone WWE" rom, and it worked fine for about 4 days or so. but eventually it wouldn't charge, I figured my battery was finally shot so I bought a new one, it worked fine for awhile but now it won't charge at all.
my computer doesn't even recognize my tilt, never says anything is connected. it does have the checkbox unchecked for computer charging, so that should be fine.
and I've tried 2 different computers with 3 different cables, as well as my car charger and 2 wall chargers =/
I've searched around but I haven't found any information regarding this, I have a feeling my car charger might've some how killed my USB port on my phone.
can anyone point me in the right direction on this? I am pretty tech savvy but I just don't know where to start troubleshooting this any deeper.
any help will be greatly appreciated, i'll be checking this frequently.
Some options

Maybe this stickied WARNING: Active Brodit Carkit thread in the Kaiser accessories forum may be of some assistance. What car charger kit have you got? Of course your replacement Kaiser should have a warranty as long as it has an official configuration. Without a working USB port you'll have difficulty restoring the original configuration as not all required steps can be done with the microSD card method - one of the risks with running custimised ROMs on devices still under warranty. If you have that particular car charger then maybe you can get some comeback from that company and a cheap Kaiser battery charging cradle will keep you going in the mean time - it just means swapping batteries to charge them. You can still use bluetooth for activesync (buying a dongle for the PC if reqd).
Thank you so much for the reply... I'll have to do the MicroSD way then, thankfully i have one finally.
but I'm not using a Brodit Carkit, the issue seems identical though so that's probably why isn't it? =/

give this a read and hope it works sounds better than above
nope, I researched as best as I could and thats not the issue either, the first reply seems correct.
I get no indication that its charging or connected through my PC or phone, that includes lights
nothing changes.
what kind of cradle will charge just the battery?
Clarification

My point about that is you WONT be able to fully restore everything via the microSD card method - the SPL reversion has to be done using the USB connection.

Well whatever version you are using, if you check your port for physical damage as maxblaster linked to and thats all clear then hopefully your car kit supplier will be some help. At least the methods I suggested (battery charge cradle and bluetooth activesync) are cheap workarounds that can keep you going in the mean time. Good luck

I wanted to post a picture of one at the XDA-DEV shop (out of loyalty to this website) but cant find it anymore.
If you google Kaiser charging cradle you should find some results that have a flat recess at the back and that come with a mains adapter, the idea being you put a spare battery in the back, plug it in to the mains and it'll charge that battery. They also have a dished recess for the phone itself but you don't have to use that part to charge a battery. I have one of these devices and highly reccommend them for Kaiser users (along with a spare battery or two) as the devices are very battery hungry if you want to take advantage of all the features. PM me if you're still stuck and I can point you to a link.
thank you so much, looked around and ordered one
i appreciate all the help you've given me.
PS HTC is freaking trying to say they never repaired my phone

You're welcome. It sounds like HTC didn't repair your phone, they replaced it instead but I'd assume any replacements they provide would still be warrantied, even if only for a short period. The problem is you've customised it's ROM and while it's not in exactly the same ROM/Radio/SPL state as they supplied it to you in (or using an approved HTC 'upgrade' ROM) then they don't need to honour a warranty (restoring what you can would give you the best chance). If it is your car phone charger that was responsible for the damage then why not contact the supplier with your complaint.

Hi guys I no ther eis probably another thread on here, but i just cant find it right now, im in need of a charging dock that can charge a second battery, my phone is a pain in the bum to charge now, i think it needs re-pairing but cant afford it right now, anyone no if any dock is ok to buy ive been looking at these 2, thank you for your help

I'm not familiar with the cradle since I'm not(maybe soon to be) a hd2 user but I've got almost the same kind of cradle.
The main problem I have with it that it only allows me to charge the device or the spare battery. I think it's best if you just contact the supplier and ask them if they charge simultaneously.

Phone not charging

Hey everyone,
I recieved a new LeEco Le 2 yesterday. It is Le X526 Indian version. The charging cable has normal USB on one end and USB C on the other. There is no response when I plug the charger. It is not charging. I tried by switching it off and same result.
The adaptor is working as I could charge another device using it. There is no way for me to check the cable since I don't have any other USB C device. Now if has only about 10% left. I have switched it off and kept for charging. What should I do now? Any suggestions please...

Gonna do that. I bought it from Flipkart for an offer price. Hopefully, it can be replaced.
Update : My father has got it to charge by adjusting the USB C end. Definitely something wrong with either the cable or the USB port on the phone. He noticed something weird too. He was able to connect the normal USB end of the cable on the adaptor both ways. Is it also reversible? Anyway, I am gonna leave it untouched till it charges fully and do more inspections later.

I am a little confused now. Now it is working most of the times. Even when it does not, I can adjust it a little bit and it works. In effect, I can get it to work everytime. I am wondering whether the problem is with the cable somehow. Does nobody else have this problem? Is it really worth the hassle of replacement? Somebody please confirm..

There may be some kind of insulator covering one of the contact pins. IF YOU SAY IT WORKS, PLUG AND PLAY, then no need to return. IF YOU FEEL SOME INCONVENIENCE AND HAVE TO KEEP THE CABLE OF PHONE IN CERTAIN POSITION FOR IT TO CHARGE, JUST RETURN IT. MOST PROBABLY, THE FLIPKART GUY BRINGS A REPLACEMENT PHONE WHEN HE COMES TO PICK THE PHONE ITSELF.
Yes replace it.
Why you are taking loss just replace it.
Replace Phone
Thanks everyone for your valuable suggestions. I have requested for a replacement. But the flipkart customer service is not making it easy. First they wanted me to reset the phone even though this is a hardware issue. Then they wanted me to install SmartChk app to verify the problem. But after that, now they want me to verify whether the problem is with the charger or the phone. When I told them that I have no USB C cables, they want me now to go to some shop and check this. Without doing that they won't proceed.
Update : Everything is fine. I went to a Leeco service centre and found out the issue was with the cable. I found out that if there is any issue with the phone, it would take around a month to repair it. They didn't even have cables in stock. Surely, flipkart will deliver faster. Flipkart gave me 2 options. They would either give me ₹200 with which I can buy a new cable or they will replace everything. I went with replacement. No quality cable can be bought for that price and I don't want to take any risks with USB C cables right now. Hopefully, replacement has no issues.
My Le 2 is not charging. When I connect it to charger, it shows that it is charging but the battery percentage is not increasing. I don't have any other device to check if the problem is with my type-C cable or not. Any help will be appreciated.

Change your charging cable.
My Le 3 is not charging. When I connect it to charger, it shows that it is charging but the battery percentage is not increasing. I don't have any other device to check if the problem is with my type-C cable or not. Any help will be appreciated.
This is ultimately a fault of the USB-C design. Look in the port and you will see it has a thin piece of plastic inside of it. This slides into the charger and has contacts on it. If that little piece of plastic gets cracked/bent/broken, the port is toast. Yes, your octa core, 32 GB 5.5" HD display device can be rendered useless by the cracking of a tiny piece of plastic bending.
This is why Micro USB is the superior connector, all the contacts are mounted to the interior of the port that is secured to the device. Yet another example of the tech industry replacing something in existence with something worse just o sell you new cables and adapters.
My Le 2 x520 is not charging. When I connect it to charger, it shows that it is charging but the battery percentage is not increasing. I don't have any other device to check if the problem is with my type-C cable or not.
type c hoco x11 or kingstar kc60 or lg or xiaomi mi a2 in testing not working please helpppp

Replacing the battery, and charging port.

Alright so I have had these replacement parts for a little while now and i have finally been fed up with the sucky charging/battery life. So I ordered the new battery and charging port, but the battery seems a little suspicious after inspection. The connecting cable that comes out of the battery to dock to the phone isn't securely attached to the battery itself. No physical problems have come from the charging port replacement. Is the battery replacement no good. Am i suppose to fasten the connection to the battery somehow? Just trying to figure this all out before i pull my phone apart, and waste my time. Quick responses would be greatly appreciated as I work during the day and this is my down time before bed.

can you please verify if there was a recall for the note 5 battery. I just got the note 5 rooted and running latest kohngloi rom. I don't see any threads on recalls or people rma the device. I rma my previous device nexus 6p because of battery issues and got a full refund. I will also contact samsung and see what they say.
More detail.
To be more specific the docking cable on the battery {manufacturer-stalion Li-Ion poymer batter 3.85V
3000mAh 11.55Wh Model:EB-BN92GABE} slides in and out of its i suppose rightful location. Is it suppose to detach from the battery itself.?
Not an easy job changing the charging port as the soft keys are between the digitizer.
I just replaced my battery with one from eBay and it's working great. My charging port is fine but I use a nokia dt-900 wireless charger
