When I try to turn off the phone volume there is no silent option, just vibrate? What's with that? Cuz the vibration is pretty damn loud

Welcome to the Wonders of Lollipop! (I have to WONDER what the hell was Google thinking?)
Honestly I do not like lollipop... The changes from KitKat are just retarded... Its like they are purposely making **** more complicated..
And the lock screen drives me up a wall. If I swipe it the wrong way I get the camera or contacts. Wtf were they thinking? How about just unlock. That'd be splendid!

You can only use a sound mod like Purexaudio but you can suggest it in the themes and apps section. But I feel that the one is already quite loud.

I'm looking for a way for my ringer to start off quiet and then increase in volume regardless of where my phone is. I see the option for this in your pocket or when you pick it up and stuff but I just want it as a standard setting. It can kind of startle you. I can't seem to find an app that will do this. Any suggestions?

Maybe make or use a ringtone that fades in like you want it to...
I actually did more searching and found an app that does exactly what I want. It's called Increasing Ring for this interested.
It's all about wording lol. I looked up everything but the word increasing.

There's an option to do this with the Sense 6 Toolbox Xposed module. Under "Various Mods", Disable safe volume warning is near the bottom of the list.
So basically Rom it. God I need to do this now.

Not necessarily. You can install Xposed framework & the Sense Toolbox module on the stock ROM. That's what I'm doing. You will need root though.
Is there anyway of doing this?
